Stop this train

"CONGRATULATIONS ALFRED!" Arthur Kirkland smiled at one of his sons. "I'm so bloody proud of you! You graduated! My little Alfred graduated." Arthur hugged a laughing Alfred as the two posed for a picture taken by his other father Francis.

"Oui I'm very proud of my little aigle." Francis smiled as snapped another picture.

"Papa I graduated to." A small voice whispered to the trio.

Francis turned around and looked at his other son, Matthew Williams Bonnefey-Kirkland.

"Oui mon cher you did and at the top of your class!" Francis wrapped his arm around his other son and kissed his blonde locks.

"Je suis tellement fière de toi" Francis to whispered in Matthews hair, before holding him at arms length and looking him up and down before smiling. Tears gathering in his blue eyes. He tugged on the many cords his son had earned.

Red- VPAG

White- National Honors Society

Blue- Chours

Orange- French club and a light yellow sash representing his status as class president. The many color cords and sash contrasted to the beautiful black gown he was wearing. All males wore black, ladies wore a light blue.

"Matthew I'm proud of you as well" Arthur pushed his husband out of the way and gave Matthew a hug.

"Merci Dad." Matthew whispered. His eyes filling with tears, he knew he wouldn't be seeing his parents in a few hours. He was heading to a college in Paris, France: L'ecole de musique.

"Dad I gotta go soon." Matthew stopped hugging his dad and wiped his eyes before looking at his twin who was talking Wang Yao and Honda Kiku. 2 other graduates.

Matthew walked over to his brother and tapped him on the shoulder.

Alfred laughed loudly again before turning and facing his twin, his smile dropping in the process.

"Hey Mattie...so this is it huh? You're leaving soon right?" Alfred asked in a small voice. It scared the violet eyed boy how soft his usually loud twin could be.

"Yeah I'm gonna head home soon and pack and then go to the airport." Matthew replied to his twin. Alfred was heading to a college for marketing in New York and while neither of the boys wanted to leave their quiet home in Minnesota or their loving fathers they knew they couldn't stay with them or with each other forever.

"Do you want us to go the airport with you?" Alfred asked, pulling his brother into a bear hug.

Matthew quickly hugged back before replying. "No it's fine, have fun at the graduation party and be save." Matthew pulled away from his brother and looked at the blue eyed teena- adult. His bottom lip was quivering and his eyes were watering.

"Hey Al don't cry, I'll come visit you in New York and we'll see each other during holidays." Matthew tried to cheer up his brother but it was no use. Tears silently fell from blue eyes.

"Yeah I know but dude it's gonna be weird not having you, dad or papa around ya know?" The American teen wiped his eyes and laughed.

"I know you have to go Mattie... just be safe ok? Call me when you get to the airport." Alfred pulled his brother into a tight embrace one more time before giving the other a kiss on the forehead.

"I will. Je t'aime." Matthew sighed, he was gonna miss his brother dearly.

"Love you too bro." Alfred let Matthew go and gave him a soft smile before walking towards his parents.

"Bye Papa, Dad, Alfred. Je t'aime!" Matthew said his goodbyes to his family before turning and leaving, walking slowly to the front of the highschool building.

Matthew took a deep breath before pushing the double doors wide open and stepping outside.

He smiled and raised his arms to the sky.

"It's over, it's finally over and I'm free!" Matthew thought to himself.

Matthew pulled into an abandoned parking lot about an hour away from his home. He didn't know what compelled him to do so... he just did. He got out of his car, guitar case in his hand and sat on the hood of his car. He was scared...scared to leave his family, scared to go to another country, scared to meet new people. Everything was spinning in his eyes, he no longer had his fathers there to catch him when he fell. He was an adult now, and that single thought alone scared him to death.

Matthew took out his guitar and started to strum a few cords before singing.

No I'm not color blind
I know the world is black and white
Try to keep an open mind but...
I just can't sleep on this tonight
Stop this train I want to get off and go home again
I can't take the speed it's moving in
I know I can't
But honestly won't someone stop this train

Don't know how else to say it, don't want to see my parents go

A single tear fell from Matthews eyes. He missed his family already and he hasn't even left the country yet.

One generation's length away
From fighting life out on my own

Stop this train
I want to get off and go home again
I can't take the speed it's moving in
I know I can't but honestly won't someone stop this train

So scared of getting older
I'm only good at being young
So I play the numbers game to find away to say that life has just begun
Had a talk with my old man
Said help me understand

"Wunderbar!"

Matthew jumped off the hood of car looked around. No one was in the parking lot with him and looked like no one has parked in it in years.

"Hello? Who's there?"

Matthew spun around in circles, no one was there.

"Keseseses I'm up here~!"

Matthew looked at the top of his car and screamed and fell on his behind. His hand flying to his heart, clutching his shirt for dear life.

"WHAT THE- WHO ARE YOU? AND WHY ARE YOU ON THE ROOF OF MY CAR EH!? Matthew quickly stood and brushed his clothes off any dust or dirt. Keeping his head bent down low to hide his blush, his Canadian accent always came out when he was upset.

"Well the awesomeness that is me heard someone singing so I wanted to see who it was!"

Matthew studied the mans features. His skin was pale, and his hair was white but his eyes...his eyes were ruby red.

Such a beautiful contrast to his skin and hair... Matthew couldn't look away from the mysterious stranger.

"Hey you ok? I mean I know I'm awesomely handsome but if you want a picture you can always ask!"

Matthew shook his head, a rosy pink dusting his cheeks. The albino man simply laughed.

"So what's your name kid?" The albino jumped down from Matthews car and stood in front of him.

"Kid? I'm not a kid."

"Matthew, what's yours?"

The albino man laughed before answering Matthews question.

"The one and only awesome Gilbert Beilschmidt kesesese~!"

Matthew couldn't figure out where he heard that name before but he quickly brushed the feeling off and looked at his watch before cursing in french.

"It was nice meeting you Gilbert but I have to leave, I have to head to the airport!"

Matthew grabbed his abandoned guitar that was resting on the ground and placed it in its case before walking over to the drivers side of his car and getting in.

"WAIT! I wanna come with you!" Gilbert quickly got in the passenger seat and looked at Matthew who looked at the albino with surprise and suspicion.

"I'm coming!"

Matthew simply shrugged, he really didn't care that he was picking a total stranger. All he cared about was getting to the airport in 2 hours.

"So Mattie tell me about yourself!"

An hour and a half passed and Gilbert continued to ask Matthew questions.

"So Mattie do you have any siblings?"

Matthew shook his head yes and grabbed his coffee, taking a long swing.

"Really so do I, I have a little bruder. He might know him!"

Matthew really didn't wanna listen to the albino man any longer but something about the word bruder rung a bell in his head.

"I doubt it."

"He might! His name is Ludwig Beilschmidt !"

Matthew stopped drinking his coffee and let the cup fall from his hands, he didn't care that his favorite blue jeans were ruined.

...

"Ever heard of the Beilschmidt brothers?" The blonde hair blue eyed teenager asked his violet eyed brother. The twins were walking home from school, the blue eyed teen talking his little brother ear off.

"No who are they?" The violet eyed boy asked, clutching a stuffed polar bear in his arms.

"Haha rumor has it that 2 german bros lived in some house down the street 20 years ago and the older one committed suicide at an abandoned parking lot cause he had a really bad sickness and he couldn't live with it any more. The 2 brothers were really close dude, like you and me close, anyway the younger bro got super depressed and slit his wrist in the tub. Rumor has it that the is house haunted by the little brother. He walks around the house calling out the word bruder. No one even looks at the house cause it's so creepy. Oh here's the house ahahahahaha!"

The american teenager laughed, his cowlick bouncing energetically as he ran ahead of his Canadian brother, leaving him in front of said house.

Curiosity getting the best of him the Canadian looked at the house, his eyes roaming here and there before stopping on a certain window.

It was on the top left side of the house. The boy swore he saw something and rubbed his eyes and stared again.

There stood a man with blue eyes and messy blonde hair, tears were streaming down his face as he raised a bloody arm and lifted a bloody finger and began to write something on the window in crimson liquid

Bruder

...

The abandon parking lot, the mysterious appearance, the name, the word! It all made sense.

He was in a abandon parking lot... The same one someone someone committed suicide, the same one that Gilbert magically appeared in.

And him and his brother just so happened to be a Beilschmidt. But Ludwig didn't look anything like his brother. So it can't be him, IT CAN'T BE HIM!

"Mattie are you ok?" Gilbert asked, concern laced in his voice.

"Gilbert... what does your younger brother look like?" Matthew asked quietly.

"Blonde hair, blue eyes, a bunch of muscles why?"

Matthews face paled, his knuckles turning white as he clenched the steering wheel for dear life.

"Yeah I thought so... Umm Gilbert what was your last name again?" Matthew whispered.

"The awesome Beilshcmidt!" The red eyed man yelled, a smile plastered on his face.

...

"Ever heard of the Beilschmidt brothers?"

...

"Oh my god..." Matthew looked a Gilbert for a split second before resuming his gaze on the rode.

"Mattie what's wrong?"

Matthew took a deep breath.

"Gilbert your brothers dead..." Matthew quickly looked at the albino

"And so are you..."

The car was silent as Gilbert processed the information given to him.

"I know I'm dead but my bruder isn't..."

"Yeah he is... we live down the street from your old home...he committed suicide just like you but... he haunts the house because he still thinks your gonna come home, I seen him. He carved the word bruder in his arm."

Gilbert frowned, not believing the Canadian.

"He's not dead... he can't be..."

"I'm so sorry Gil-"

"NO SHUT THE FUCK UP! HE'S NOT DEAD! HE'S ALIVE!"

Gilbert yelled at the top of his lungs. Anger flashed through his ruby eyes.

Matthew stopped talking immediately, scared the pers-ghost would hurt him if he uttered a word.

"You're lying! He's not dead!"

Matthew sighed.

"Gilbert I wouldn't lie to you about that!"

Gilbert clenched and unclenched his fist.

"YOU'RE LYING!"

Matthew took his eyes off the rode and looked at Gilbert, annoyance lingering in his eyes.

"Why would I lie! I seen him with my ow-"

HONK HONK!

"MATTIE THE RODE!"

Alfred continued to drive down the road, his radio off and his windows down. He couldn't think, he couldn't eat, he couldn't sleep and it showed on his face.

One week passed since his twin was died.

Head on accident with a truck.

Alfred let the tears fall. He was empty and depressed. His parents weren't taking it well either. Papa smokes all day and just sits on the couch staring at the wall and Dad stays in his room and drinks. Only time either leave or get up if it's to get a another pack of smokes or another bottle of liquor.

Alfred slowed down his driving. He was on an abandoned road, no one was around. There was no need to rush.

Seeing an abandoned parking lot ahead Alfred quickly pulled in and turned his car off, letting his head drop in his hands as he cried. His brother was gone, they never been separated before. He thought parting ways to go to college was bad... but Mattie being dead. He couldn't take the pain.

No I'm not color blind
I know the world is black and white
Try to keep an open mind but...
I just can't sleep on this tonight
Stop this train I want to get off and go home again
I can't take the speed it's moving in
I know I can't
But honestly won't someone stop this train

Alfred looked around and tried to pin point were the music was coming from. Getting out of his car Alfred looked around abandoned parking lot. When he didn't see anyone he walked back to his car, his head bent down low.

Don't know how else to say it, don't want to see my parents go
One generation's length away
From fighting life out on my own

Alfred looked and gasped, covering his mouth with shaking hands.

Stop this train
I want to get off and go home again
I can't take the speed it's moving in
I know I can't but honestly won't someone stop this train

"Mattie?" Alfred looked at his brother who was perched on top of car, sitting Indian style. A man with pale skin, white hair and red eyes wrapped his arms around his brothers neck and smiled.

So scared of getting older
I'm only good at being young
So I play the numbers game to find away to say that life has just begun
Had a talk with my old man
Said help me understand
He said turn 68, you'll renegotiate
Don't stop this train
Don't for a minute change the place you're in
Don't think I couldn't ever understand
I tried my hand
John, honestly we'll never stop this train

Alfred ran to his car, before dropping to his knees.

See once in a while when it's good
It'll feel like it should
And they're all still around
And you're still safe and sound
And you don't miss a thing
'til you cry when you're driving away in the dark.

Alfred looked up and stared his brother in his eyes. He missed him greatly.
"Mattie..."

Singing stop this train I want to get off and go home again
I can't take this speed it's moving in
I know I can't
Cause now I see I'll never stop this train

Matthew stopped singing and smiled down at his brother.

"Je t'aime Alfred. Tu es le meilleur frère au monde. Rappelez-vous que."

Alfred continued to sob, reaching his hand out towards his brother.

"I-I love you too bro, please don't leave."

Matthew smiled and reached for his brothers out stretched hand. He grazed his fingers against his twins before his figure started to fade away. Alfred let his arm drop and stayed on the ground for a few minutes before getting up and getting in his car.

Alfred pulled out of the abandoned parking lot, his windows down, and his radio off. He looked at the colors of the setting sun.

Violet, just like his brother eyes.

Alfred laughed. For the first time in the past week he laughed. He stopped laughing and smiled at the sky.

"Watching out for me bro? Thanks Dude."

Alfred continued to smile as he drove down the rode.

"Don't for a minute change the place you're in. Don't think I couldn't ever understand. I tried my hand
John, honestly we'll never stop this train"

Alfred sung his brother song, a grin plastered on his face.

Alfred continued to sing his brothers song.

His car disappearing in to the sunset.

OH GOD WHAT HAVE I WRITTEN!? I really felt like I was Alfred in this story. I started to tear up multiple times! I-just-the FEELS! I just couldn't. I know it's not much of Germany in this but Prussia's in it and we had to add more peoples. I hope you like cause this chapter is long as shit.

Ok If you're wondering what VPAG it's a after school program at my school that you get a half credit for. It stands for Visual Preforming Arts Gifted. So if you can sing, dance, act, poetry blah blah blah. That's were alot of those people (including myself) go.
