Chapter 11
The next day Rachel and Eddie walked down to breakfast laughing at the other members of staff with their hangovers.
"Late night last night, was it?" Eddie asked smugly
"I can't even remember" Steph groaned, before taking some asprin
Rachel looked around at the students and noticed that a lot of them seem to be huddled around something, and all laughing mischievously.
"Come on you lot, eat your breakfast and then we can get going" Rachel said loudly, startling them all
They all hurried back to their tables. Rachel and Eddie couldn't help but notice all the students keep glancing towards the teachers table and laughing. The other teachers were all too hung-over to realise.
On the way out to the coach Rachel saw Bolton and Paul all huddled around what looked like a phone. She decided to creep up behind them and see what seemed to be amusing them. Rachel couldn't help but laugh at the picture of her colleagues wearing next to nothing. However, she knew she couldn't let onto the kids that she was finding it quite hilarious.
"What've you got their boys?" Rachel asked making them both jump
"You scared the life out of me Miss" Bolton said raising his hand to his chest
"Would you care to tell me why it is that you've got a picture of some of your teachers on your phone"
"Oh, well urmm" Bolton stuttered "someone else must have taken it"
"I don't really care who took it, I just want to know how you managed to get such a photo. But I think we both know that it was you who took the photo Bolton" Rachel said smirking
"Well last night we heard quite a racket coming from Miss Haydock and Mr Wilding's bedroom so we went to see what all of the noise was about. When we did their bedroom door was open and they were all really drunk" Paul explained
Obvously, Steph hadn't bothered to close the door after she and Eddie had left last night.
"Right, well pass your phone to me please"
Bolton obediently passed his phone to his head mistress, who deleted the photo off his phone.
"I presume you haven't sent the picture to anyone?" Rachel asked
"No, that would cost a fortune man" Bolton said
Rachel then followed Bolton and Paul onto the bus and took a seat by Eddie. She told Eddie about the photo, and they both ended up laughing that some of the students had seen.
They were about halfway their when Rachel saw Molly standing up and getting out of her seat.
"Molly, what are you doing? Sit back down please" Rachel told her daughter
But Molly didn't listen, instead she came and walked up to her Mum. Rachel immediately noticed how pale she looked.
"Mum, I feel really sick" Molly informed her Mum
"Did you take your tablet before we left?" Rachel asked knowing how bad travel sickness Molly got
"No I forgot"
"Let's go and sit at the front then, that should help" Rachel said before getting up and leading her daughter to the front of the desk. Rachel was just asking the driver if he had any bags, however it was too late because Molly had just been sick down the isle. Everyone started to moan as Molly's cheeks blushed furiously.
Rachel just rubbed her back and helped her into a seat before quickly getting some tissues and trying to clear it up the best she could.
"Miss, miss, I'm going to be sick" Rachel heard Janeece's come from the back of the bus
She quickly raced back there, now carrying a bag, just in time for Janeece to empty the contents of her stomach into the bag.
More and more kids were now starting to feel sick from the smell, so Rachel felt relieved when they finally arrived at the water park. Everyone rushed off the bus into the fresh air.
"You feeling any better now darling?" Rachel asked Molly once they were in the queue
"Yes thank you. Sorry about that Mum"
"It couldn't be helped. Are you feeling better now Janeece?"
"Yeah. I can't stand sick, makes me sick myself."
Once they'd paid they found a good meeting point and got ready to begin a fun day at the water park.
