Hey People! Another Chapter up! Sorry it took so long! hope you like it
Beca thought of grand gestures but came up empty. She turned to Amy and said: "Amy, bring all the love-movies you can think of, a note book, a white board and pens. We got some thinkin' to do." Amy nodded and hurried off. 3 days went by and they didn't have a good idea at all. The more time went by, the more Beca worried that Brittany would think Beca didn't love her or would ever talk to her. "Ah what the hell. Beca, pack your bags. We're going to L.A." Amy suddenly said on the evening of the 3rd night. Beca looked at her puzzled. "We can still think over there. At least we are closer if we need to plan anything." Amy said like it was the most obvious thing in the world. The next morning Beca and Amy sat on a plane on the way to L.A. Beca had asked Aubrey to send over Brittany's timeplaner. She did, just in time for take-off to open it before it was not possible anymore. Beca looked at it. It was quite full. Loads of after-Oscar press, some names Beca had never heard of. Groaning she handed it over to Amy. Beca settled in her seat and pulled out her laptop, put on her headphones and listened to the 'BritMix'. Silent tears ran down her cheeks. She didn't even notice drifting of to sleep. About 2 hours later Beca awoke. Rubbing her eyes, she looked over Amy who was concentrating over a piece of paper. "Whatcha doin'" Beca asked her voice still thick with sleep. "Getting BeBritt on the road. Check it out." Amy said smiling. "See this?" Amy pointed to a name. "Ellen DeGeneres. " Beca read. "Ellen DeGeneres is this talk show host who is amazingly funny and generous. Most importantly: she loves surprising people." Amy said. Beca started grinning as it klicked in her mind. "God Amy. You are awesome!" Beca shouted throwing herself at Amy. "Yeah, that's what everybody in Tasmania says." Beca laughed. And laughed. She hadn't laughed like this in a long time. The moment they landed they sent Aubrey a text with their plan. They went to the hotel to shower and change. They spent the next hour calling Ellen DeGeneres's office. They got an appointment for that afternoon. Beca and Amy were jet lacked and took a quick nap. Both of them were nervous when they got to studio where Ellen shot her show. Aubrey meet them there. About after 30 minutes of talking everything was discussed. They now went to turning their plan into action. Brittany hadn't heard anything from Beca, or seen anything on the news to confirm that Beca had heard her speech. Sadly she turned to her time table. All she could do is wait. The days went by. She did all her appointments only half heartedly. Then she reached the talk show she had waited for. She loved going there. It was always fun. And fun was something she needed. So when all the make-up was done, the microphone was all set up, she waited excitedly behind the scenes when she heard Ellen degeneres say: "Please welcome Oscar winner Brittany Snow" She walked out and waved at the audience who was clapping loudly. She Walked over to Ellen and gave her a hug. "So congratulations to your Oscar. That's pretty great." Ellen said. "Thank you, thank you." Brittany said as the crowed clapped and whistled again. "So where were you when you found out and how did you celebrate." Ellen asked. "Well, actually Ellen, I was asleep when my manager called. I'm a very heavy sleeper. I remember saying 'Thats great' and hanging up on my manager." The crowed and Ellen laughed. "It was only hours later when it sank in. Afraid it was a dream, I called him up again. And it wasn't." Brittany said smiling. The crowd laughed and applauded. "And since it was in the midday, my best friend, manager and me went to brunch, nothin' fancy. Those guys are what's important to me." Brittany said. "Speaking of important. I had a surprise for you." Ellen said. "Had?" Brittany said confused. "Yes, but it kind of got delayed. BUT there is a message for you. Are we ready?" Ellen asked looking at someone behind the camera. Brittany was totally confused. "Hey red." Suddenly she heard a voice. A voice she had missed so much. "Becs?" Brittany whispered and looked up to see Beca's face on the big screen. "Yes, hi. I wanted to surprise you, but the plane is delayed." Beca said. A voice came and sounded far away. "Flight 34524 to L.A. Is delayed due to a technical difficulty. Thank you for you understanding." Brittany was so happy to hear Beca's voice and see her face. Beca looked as gorgeous as she did when they first met. "I wanted to surprise you and tell you that I saw the speech and urm, Ellen was great enough to offer me the opportunity. I'm so sorry it didn't work out." Beca said. "Yeah me to. But I love the thought. I love you." Brittany said tears glistening in her eyes. "I love you. See you soon" Beca said smiling showing her dimples. The screen went blank. Brittany wiped her tears away. "Thank you so much, Ellen" she sniffled. "I love to surprise people and wasn't it a lovely surprise? You know what would be even better?" Ellen asked smiling knowingly. Brittany shook her head wiping her eyes. "If you could hug Beca right now." Ellen said. Brittany sighed. Yes hugging Beca would now be the best thing, other than kissing her. "Well who said you can't?" "I'm confused. She's at the airport, right? Right?!" Brittany said getting up. "Beca! Hug your girl!" Ellen shouted. Brittany's mouth dropped in shock. From behind the stage Beca came jogging out, dressed in skinny jeans, a white top and a black leather jacket. Waving to the crowd, she jogged up to Brittany and pulled her into a hug. Beca pulled Brittany into a hug. The smell coming from the red head was overwhelming. Leaning back, her arms still rapped around Brittany, Beca leant in and kissed her. It was as thought the break-up had never happened. Beca knew they still had a lot to talk about, but in that moment Beca decided and knew that Brittany was 'the one' for her. No matter what. "I'm so sorry for running out on you without letting you explain." Beca whispered into Brittany's ear. "No, I'm sorry. I should have said it right away." Brittany whispered back. Then Beca noticed Ellen standing next to her and she realised that she'd totally forgotten that she was on national TV with Ellen DeGeneres standing next to her. Running her hand through her hair, she let go of Brittany. "Hi, Ellen." Beca said smiling and went in for a hug. "Hi Beca." Ellen said gesturing to the chair. "I'll just sit on her lap." Brittany offered smirking. Beca flushed and nodded. All three of them sat down. "Wow, you guys. This is so amazing." Brittany said after the crowd had calmed down, placing a hand on Beca's thigh. "Yeah, I wanted to surprise you. And thank you." Beca said. "And I'm happy to help." Ellen said. "So how did you meet?" "Well actually, I almost killed her by smashing a door in her face." Beca sniggered. "I felt bad, and when I saw these most amazing eyes, I asked her for a drink." "And I only could say yes. But I didn't tell her my real name." Brittany said. "Even if you had, I would have had know clue who you where." Beca added. "You didn't know who Brittany snow was? Ellen asked the question directed to Beca. "Didn't that just insult you a little bit?" Ellen asked Brittany winking. "No I didn't. I didn't, well I don't watch movies. So no I didn't." Beca said. "Being recognised is always an honour. And I love talking to fans, giving them autographs and all. But being incognito for a change was refreshing, I have to say. So I thought: a drink what the hell?! I didn't expect all this to happen." Brittany said motioning her hand pointing at herself and Beca. "Well, and it wouldn't have. If there wasn't a picture showing us in ahh 'compromised position'." Beca giggled, turning red. "You mean this one?" Ellen asked pointing at a screen. The picture of Beca and Brittany kissing. "Yeah, that one." Brittany giving Beca a kiss on the lips. Beca started drawing patterns on the side of Brittany's thigh, the side that was hidden from the cameras. "And in honour of this surprise everybody in the audience is getting a signed copy of Pitch Perfect in blue ray, and a signed copy of Beca's album: 'the BrittMixx' which is not available in stores. Thank you so much for watching. Be kind to one another. Bye bye." Ellen said speaking loudly over the applause. Beca and Brittany started kissing when the cameras were switched off.
