Me: I know, I am a terrible human being for making you readers wait for a while. Hehe, Sorry! I only own Lexus, Mo and Tom. If anyone wants, I'm lisa8990 on My candy love. You can send me a message to say hi or ask to be my friend! Anyways, Castiel curses, but I think that you would be used to the swearing by now, but I digress. Happy reading!
I groaned as my eyes opened. My head hurt like hell and I winced when my eyes opened to a harsh light. I rubbed my eyes as I stiffly sat up. I was in a gray metal room. I was sitting on a mattress in just my jeans and tank top. I shivered, wishing for my leather coat. I rubbed my arms, trying to warm up, but it didn't help. I looked up when the door opened and I scowled when my dad stepped through, shutting the door behind him.
"I see that you're awake, Lia." I glared, growling.
"My name... Is not Lia..." I spoke with clenched teeth.
"It's Lexus, dammit!" He didn't flinch when I yelled at him. We were both quiet and I was glaring at him. He hummed.
"You're not Lexus Hartwood anymore, your name is Lia Harriet." His tone held no room for argument and I growled again.
"Go to hell." I spat. I waited and watched him. I half expected him to hit me and he looked like he was thinking about it, but decided against it at the last moment.
"Soon Lia, this place will only be a memory." He turned, and knocked on the door twice.
"You know, when you come back with me, we're going to have to fix that attitude of yours."
"Bastard.." I retorted under my breath. My dad growled and walked out of the door, slamming it behind him. I stood and banged on the door. I tried the handle only to find that it was locked. I screamed as I kicked the door, but immediately regretted it when my foot throbbed in pain. I slid down the door and hugged my knees to my chest. I felt tears sting at my eyes like they did when I was frightened.
"Cas... Help me..."
"Castiel..." He could hear a familiar voice calling to him from the darkness. Castiel groaned. His head hurt badly.
"Castiel... Wake up..." Castiel blinked to see that Lysander and Leigh were looming over him. Castiel groaned and let Lysander help him sit up. Castiel rubbed his head.
"Ow, what happened?"
"You were ambushed." Lysander told him evenly.
"We found you after the girls all returned home."
"Where's Lexus?" A sad look crossed Lysander's face.
"We don't know. Those men that attacked you must have taken her." Castiel felt his heart stop. Those men were without a doubt for her dad and he had lost her. Castiel buried his face in his hands.
"No..." He groaned, pulling at his hair. Lysander sighed.
"Castiel, we'll find her and get her back."
"We don't know where to start!" He snapped and Lysander didn't flinch. He knew that his friend was in distress. Lysander stood and offered a hand.
"Come on, we have to tell her aunt, perhaps she'll know what to do." Castiel looked at the hand of his friend and took it, letting Lysander pull him to his feet. Lysander let Castiel lean on him as the trio walked to Monika's house.
"Oh no..." She had gasped when they told her what had happened. Castiel refused to look at her and Lysander did the explaining. Monika looked at Castiel, who wouldn't meet her eyes.
"Castiel... We'll get her back, I promise." Monika's fierce determination to get her niece back brought a smirk to Castiel's face.
"Yea, I'm going to make that happen. There's no way in hell that bastard father of hers is going to take her away from me." Lysander smirked and patted his back.
"There's the Castiel I know." Mo nodded.
"Mo, do you have any idea where he would take Lexus?" Mo thought.
"I would try an old warehouse. Tom always like that kind of thing." Lysander nodded.
"We'll slip up and look for Lexus." Mo grabbed her purse.
"I'm going too. I want to help her." Lysander nodded.
"Of course, come on!"
The drive to the abandoned warehouses outside of town was very quiet. Lysander was driving, Mo was siting in shotgun and Castiel was siting in the back with Demon who they had picked up from Castiel's house. Mo found a shirt that Lexus had worn and Castiel was holding the shirt in his fist tightly as he kept his eyes glued to the view out the front window. A question that had been bugging him from the beginning crossed his mind and he glanced at Mo.
"Hey Mo?"
"Yea?"
"I think that this may be a sensitive question, but what happened to Lexus' mom?" Lysander glared at the redhead through the rear view mirror and looked ready to chew Castiel out, but Mo stopped him.
"Well, Castiel, her mom overdoused on heroine back when Lexus was still little." Castiel blinked.
"Sorry, I didn't-" Mo smiled at him.
"It's okay, you were curious. Lexus didn't have a very good relationship with her mother and in all honesty I think that she was glad when she heard that her mother had passed away."
"That seems to be rather cold." Lysander remarked, which earned a snort from Cas.
"Lys, this is the woman that laughed when Lexus was having the shit beaten out of her. I don't blame her for being glad that she was dead." Lysander sighed.
"Still Castiel, you have to admit that is cold, even for you." Castiel grunted. Mo sighed.
"I didn't blame her either. Her mother and I never saw eye to eye on things, especially on how poor Lexus was being treated. I believe that was why she was so eager to change her name and dye her hair. She was trying to escape the reminder of her parents and dark past." Castiel noted that Lysander was looking at him through the rear view mirror again.
"That sounds like someone I know." He said evenly. Castiel bowed his head.
"Yea, someone I know well."
