Kiku awaken.

His side still hurted immensely, but he tolerated. The Japanese man sat straight up still fearing as the Fukashima power plants were on the verge of exploding. He sat there, waiting for the moment it will blow up. He could feel it swelling, ready to releash it's power and pain through his body. He sighed slightly.

"Aniki! Your awake!" Korea said with delight, unaware of how much more serious this is. Japan setted a comforting smile.

"Hai, I feel fully rested."

China walked into the room with a tray. On the tray was a steaming, fresh bowl of "West Lake Beef "soup.

"Japan, good thing your awake. Eat this, it'll give you energy and vitality." China concerned, sitting next to Kiku and passing him the bowl of soup steadily. Japan allowed the spoon into his soup, and he sipped slowly as he brought spoonful after spoonful to his mouth, savoring the flavor. Oh, how he missed the days of China's cooking.

"Ai wei wei Nihon. The entire world is worrying for you. The entire world is by your side." China said. "America and England are on their way to bring help. Italy and Germany are coming shortly. We know they are your closest friends so we told them first." China said rubbing and easing pain from Japan's shoulder.

Korea looked pitied at Japan and held out his hand. " I know our people don't get along aniki, but I'm here to help your country." Japan eyes closed with bless, and faintly smiled.

" Ha-hai, arigatou." Japan letted a tear loose.

"I'll help with the effort too, aru." China said holding out his hand as well.

"A-Arigatou…" Japan letted loose another tear.

The pain shot up again, this time, it didn't hurt as bad, even though Japan still flinched.

THUD. China jumped up in surprise at the noise at the front door. "Yo! Japan! Are you in there? I came to check up on you earlier after hearing what happened and I got worried. When you weren't at your house, I had a feeling you would be here instead!" came a familiar voice.

"Aiyaa, America, you didn't have to punch a hole through my door, aru!" China said irritably.

" Yeah, Yeah, I'm just here to say I'm here to be part of your rescue and clean up effort, dude!" Japan begin to cry.

"Oui, big brother France is here too!"

"Yep, and I'm with frog."

"Japan! Me and Germany, and fratello came!"

"you needed help, da?"

" Maple… there is a lot of work ahead of us." Japan put his hand over his mouth.

"Aniki?" Korea said.

" Thank you, everyone." Japan sobbed.

" Oh, who are you? I never seen you around here before. It must have been hard growing up in such place. My name is China, if there is any thing you need, you can always ask me."

"Konnitchiwa, I am Japan from where the sun rises. Nice to meet you China from where the sun sets."

"Huh! That wasn't very nice!"

Japan replenished the memory and savoured it. The memory when everything was simpler and less busy. But those days are no longer. As nations scrambled to find strangers within rumble and muck left by the mess, Japan wondered.

"Shouldn't this be how society and the world work? Trust, cooperation, friendship?" Japan letted out a smile.

" Oh, Japan?"

"Hai ?" Japan asked.

"I know I did many stupid things to you in the past, but I promised myself I will remake up those mistakes and be there for you whenever I can. I'll always be there when you cry out for help."

Japan smiled, he pointed to his pocket, taking out the note.

"Y-You kept it all this time?!" America said.

"Hai, I never throw away my letters from close friends." Japan said happily.

America looked at Japan, and smiled as well. "Well, should we clean up? It won't do it itself." America laughed.

"Hai, Arigato ." Japan bowed.

"Please, Just call me Alfred. We're close friends, right?"

"Hai. W-We are."
