Yuna had spent most of her days with Seymour leaning the secrets of magic and summoning while the other summoners grouped up and went training. With every moment that Yuna spent with Seymour she grew closer to him and liked him more.

The next bit of knowledge that Seymour was going to teach Yuna was how to communicate with the aeons without talking directly to the faith. Seymour took Yuna to an underground room made for summoning.

Yuna and Seymour were standing in the centre of the dome shaped summoning room. It was wooden (like most of Guadosalam) with candle chandeliers. The ceiling was surprisingly high for an underground room.

Seymour took a few steps away from Yuna and began to summon Anima.

"Come, Anima!" Seymour said as he swung his staff in circles. A ring of purple light formed around him and Anima came out of the ground. She was bigger than what Yuna had imagined her to be. Anima was restrained by heavy metal chains. Her pale, grey hands were crossed over each other.

Yuna thought Seymour was a kind and gentle man and wondered why a person like him had such a dark aeon.

"Now, Lady Yuna, summon your finest aeon." Seymour instructed. Yuna nodded and took a few steps away from the centre of the room. She concentrated and swung her staff in a pattern.

Yuna began to glow and the room lit up a golden colour. A spark of light radiated from the top of the room and as the spark grew they could see bright blue skies and clouds in it. Suddenly Valefor came out of the spark and into the room with his large wings of blue and red feathers. Valefor landed next to Yuna and hugged her with his wings.

"I see that you already have a strong bond between you and your aeon, Lady Yuna." Seymour said. "This will make communicating far less challenging."

Seymour came closer to her and Valefor.

"As summoners, we have the ability to talk to our summons without going to the Chamber of the Faith." Seymour said.

Yuna complained, "But the temples say- "

"The temples say what they thing Yeavon wants but never why." Seymour said, shaking his head. "I want to teach you things that other summoners will never know."

"But what about the other summoners?" Yuna asked. She was starting to find their private training a bit odd.

"The others may posses the talent required in the art of summoning but there is only one Lady with the talent to become a high summoner." Seymour said. Yuna blushed and looked away shyly.

"I'm flattered that you think so highly of me but I am still too young and too inexperienced to posses this talent you speak of." Yuna replied to him.

Seymour took a step closer to her and held her hands in his and whispered, "Lady Yuna, there is no need to be afraid."

"I just don't know if I can do it." Yuna mumbled, drawing closer to him. She looked into his cerulean blue eyes and felt a sense of gentleness coming from him. Yuna was wondering how he felt about her. In that same moment, Seymour was wondering how she felt about him except he already knew the answer.

Seymour leaned closer to kiss her cheek. Yuna touched his face with her warm and soft hands. At first Seymour thought that she was dismissing his advance until she positioned his lips to hers. Seymour grinned briefly before pressing his lips against hers.

A sudden rush of emotion overcame Yuna. It seemed as though time froze for a while.

Suddenly the pace picked up and they began to shower each other with hungry kisses. All words were lost in the heat and passion of it all.

*o*o*o*

Seymour and Yuna were not at lunch or dinner. Them not being at meals was something that happened often but Symble still found it suspicious.

Symble watched the servants and guards closely. They were acting very strange by constantly keeping track of where everyone was. Symble knew that something was up and was determined to find out what it was.

After everyone had gone to bed Symble snuck out of her room. The only people wandering around the mansion were the servants and guards. Symble went to the dining room through the back door and quickly hid herself when she saw some ladies cleaning.

"Hurry up and fetch another vase! This one is leaking!" One of servants commanded. "I want to be out of here soon!"

"Don't talk so loud." Another servant whispered. "I have a headache from running errands since this afternoon non-stop all because the Maester wants to spend the night with the Lady."

Symble found the servant's remark odd because she knew that Seymour preferred to do all his tasks himself and as for the Lady, the only Ladies in Guadosalam were summoners and Dona and Symble weren't too fond of Seymour. Only female summoners and women of high importance were given the title of Lady.

Before making any assumptions Symble decided to check the private rooms first.

She first went to Dona's room. The door was unlocked. Symble peeped and giggled. Dona slept with her arms and legs outstretched and mumbled, "Esaru, don't leave me now."

Symble closed the door and went to Yuna's room. As she approached the door she began to feel guilty for suspecting Yuna of anything. Symble gently pushed the door. It was locked.

Symble cast Sight which was the opposite of Blind. Sight was a white magic spell that let the user see through one object or person at a time. As Symble cast the spell the door seemed to vanish even thought it was still physically there.

Symble could see Yuna. She was tucked in bed and appeared to be cuddling with someone. Symble looked away and hesitated whether or not to look who she was with. Symble thought about the man that Yuna was supposed to marry. She had heard that he betrayed Yuna. Symble thought that maybe Yuna had forgiven him and allowed him back but Yuna didn't seem like the type who would give a cheater such a warm welcome.

Symble took a few deep breaths and looked back into the room. She couldn't see the face of the person next to Yuna although the hair looked familiar. The person in bed with her was still awake and moved up slightly to kiss Yuna's forehead. That's when Symble saw his face.

In that moment Symble realised what would happen if anyone found out what she saw. Symble immediately dispelled Sight and ran into her room, not far from Yuna's.

Symble locked the door, dropped to her knees and wiped away tears. She cried a little not because of sadness but because she was so frightened. The person Yuna was with would do anything to protect his reputation, even murder.

Just then, someone knocked at Symble's door.
