I got ready for school and left.

DAY BEFORE!

Haruhi POV:

"S-sorry I'm late guys…" I panted. "That will be added to your debt, Haruhi." Kyoya added. I rolled my eyes and walked to my station. At the corner, I already see Arte reading a book. I walked up to him quietly. "Artie?" I trailed off. I heard soft snoring from the red head. I chuckled. "He's asleep…" Tamaki said behind me. I just nodded. Tamaki is pretty close to Arte, makes me feel something I don't really know… Jealousy. I shook my head and walked to Kyoya, whose desk was close to the window Artie was asleep. He didn't hear me as I creep up to see what he was doing on his laptop.

I saw a page of Artie's medical records. She has a brain tumor?!

I gasped and hit my toe on the corner of the table with a shriek. Artie stood up hastily and fell of the window sill she was laying on. "What the gods!" Artie said loudly, getting weird looks from the rest of the hosts. I stood there, with my face slightly pale. I stared at Artie. "Haruhi? Are you ok?" Hikaru asked. The hosts all asked what was wrong while Artie tried to get up. I pushed passed the group and helped Artie up. "Thank you." She said quietly. I quickly stood up and ran into the kitchen. The group just stood there frozen.

Hikaru POV:

"What the heck…" I said. The hosts shrugged it off and continue helping set up the club.

I watched as Tamaki and Haruhi had a quiet conversation with Artie. Seeing how Haruhi and Tamaki would spend time with that mysterious person like they were friends made me angry. I growled. "Hikaru?" my brother had a worried look. I waved my hand off and sat on a couch.

DURING CLUB HOURS~

Artemis POV:

I overheard the twins paying their game. I sighed, wondering why that game was so popular.

"Hey Artie!" Kaoru yelled out. I just rolled my eyes and walked towards them, Apollo leading me. As I stood there, the twins ask me who was who. "The left is Hikaru and the right is Kaoru." I stated bluntly, getting a buzzing noise from the twins. "NOPE!" They said in a cheerful tone, but I could hear the excitement and slight anger. "Artie's right." Haruhi stated. I smiled at her.

The twins seemed to be taken aback as me and Haruhi talked on why the game was considered hard for others. Hikaru spoke up. "Well then tell us how you know?" He asked us, sounding hopeful. I gulped.

"W-well, your voices gives it away. Kaoru's is softer while yours is more, mischievous." I answered, as Haruhi added some more details. I could hear someone trying to cover their laughter as I blushed in embarrassment. "Sorry Hikaru… but that is too funny!" Kaoru said through laughter. I cringed as his bitterness. Hikaru growled.

The twins spit hateful things back and forth while I suddenly got a call. I walked out the room and held the phone up to my ear. "Artemis, remember that you have an appointment with tomorrow after school ok? I already contacted Kyoya-kun for your absence." My mom said and hung up. I sighed, a migraine was slowly forming. I decided to leave early, informing a very frustrated Kyoya. "Good luck." I told him as I walked out with Apollo.

THE NEXT DAY~

I walked in class 1A ad sat at my desk, fiddling with my pencil. As I was daydreaming, I hear Haruhi greet me. "Hi Haruhi." I said and continue to dream about colors.

I snapped out of my revere as I heard several gasps from the room. I raised an eyebrow. "Hello Haruhi, Artie." A too calm Hikaru greeted us. "Hikaru, what's wrong with your hair?!" Haruhi said in shock. Hikaru laughed. "Oh! I dyed it pink so that I don't get mistaken for the other one." He said, with a little bitterness at the last words. Before I could speak, we could hear Kaoru laugh. "Ah, hello Haruhi. I had a nightmare last night; my designer accidentally dyed my hair PINK!" He laughed out. I zoned out, not caring whatever the twins did. Besides, I can't see what they are even doing.

"Can you all just SHUT UP!" I yelled, but no one must have heard because the Twins were still arguing. I groaned. "I cannot wait for my appointment." I said to myself, but a certain cross dresser heard.

AFTER SCHOOL~

Haruhi POV:

As the twins refuse to work together for the Host club today, Kyoya had been furious since the 'profit' would drop. I just rolled my eyes at them and questioned myself Artie. Why was she leaving for an appointment? I walked up to Kyoya to ask, since he probably knows Artemis is a girl.

"Kyoya, do you know where Artie is?" I asked. He looked up at me from his computer, his jaw clenched. "His mom called saying he has an appointment." He said icily, I tried to talk further. "Do you know why?" I asked again. He sighed. "If he is ready, he will tell you." Kyoya went back to his laptop.

Artemis POV:

"Your brain tumor is growing at a slow rate, which is good for us to being the operation. Are you ready?" asked. I nodded.

"Sweetie I will be here the whole time, ok?" My mom soothed me as she rubbed her thumb on my palm in circles. I sighed.

I hate operations.

The nurse injected me and soon I was knocked out.

~A FEW DAYS LATER!

"Artie, honey are you ok? You slept for 2 days straight!" My mom called out. I nodded, my head having a massive headache. I felt the area on my head that had been shaved off and touched the bandage that was on there. My eyes could barely see the light, but there was some that entered my eyes. "What time is it?" I asked.

"It's 5:16 AM." My mom said as she yawned. She must have stayed up since it's her first operation with me. "Did they get it out?" I asked. She sighed. "No, if they didn't stop, the same thing would have happened last time." She said in a whisper. I groaned. "How long do I stay here until I go back to school?" I asked, knowing that Kyoya would be mad at me for leaving him with two arguing twins and an annoying blonde. I suddenly felt bad for Haruhi.

I could feel my eyes close in tiredness. I yawned and fell asleep without getting a response from my mom.

A WEEK LATER~~~

I walked with my mom to the Head minister's office and tried to ignore the whispers.

"Is that Artie? What is he doing with Suzanne K.?!"

"Is Suzanne his mom? They do kind of look alike…"

"Why was Artie gone for so long?"

I groaned inwardly at the others. My mom is a famous architect, but is more known for her sideline hobby: designing clothes.

After I talked to , I left for class. It is 3rd period, so Math. I walked to 1A with Apollo and sighed, knocking the door. As it opened, the teacher gave out a surprised gasp. "Artie! Come in." He guided me to my desk as he went back to the lesson. I could hear the twins talk to Haruhi, but I paid no attention since I have a scorching headache. After class was lunch, so I stayed in the classroom as always while the twins left. Haruhi sat next to me. "Where were you? We were so worried." She said in confusion. I just sighed. "Hospital." I murmured. She gasped. Haruhi found out from Kyoya that I have a brain tumor, so she knows. "Did they get it? Was it successful?" She asked in a whisper. I shook my head, trying not to cry. Haruhi gasped again. Silence.

"Did Kyoya tell everyone else?" I asked. "No, but Tamaki knows; Kyoya scared him into not visiting you or even calling you. You should thank him." Haruhi said before eating. I didn't feel like eating.

Soon classes ended and I walked to the club room with Apollo. Haruhi and the twins left earlier while I took a long nap. As I walked in, I found the familiar feeling of the petals blow on my face as I hear 7 people greet me. I just groaned. "Shut up it's just me." I walked to my couch with Apollo and slept more, yet I could hear what's happening. "He is really tired, Senpai, we shouldn't wake him." Haruhi said while the twins sigh. "He has been like this all day, so depressing." They made weird motions with their hands.

"Might want to tone down since he is sleeping; seeing he is type AB will surely cause a mess if you idiots wake him." Kyoya said in a dangerous tone, suggesting it to the twins and Tamaki. "Artie-chan do you want cake?" Honey bounced on the couch I was sleeping on, smart kid knew I was listening.

I just took my shades off and rubbed my eyes, my hollow red eyes were looking in every direction. "No thanks Honey Senpai." I said in a sick sweet tone. "Artie, your eyes are so… lifeless." Tamaki whispered. I just groaned. "God what is up with everyone, can't a person just take a nap after being in the hospital for a freaking whole week?!" I said loudly, then putting both of my hands on top of my mouth. Shit.

"What did you say?" Kaoru asked. I gulped. "Well look at the time! We need to get ready." I said with a fake laugh. "You can't see the clock so how would you know the time." Hikaru said bluntly. "Thanks for pointing out the obvious, smart ass." I retorted. He just growled as I glared at nothing. "You're looking at the wrong direction." Kaoru said. I just growled at them. "I'M LEAVING!" I said. I can't believe they would make fun of me! I'm freaking blind what can I do?! I stormed off with Apollo ahead of me.
