Getting True Love Back Chapter 12

Trent and Gwen met up with everyone around the campfire. They saw Bridgette and Geoff, Courtney and Duncan, Mike and Zoey. "What happen to everyone else?" said Bridgette.

Well, Leshawna and Harold split up, and Leshawna stay in Detroit. You were supposed to come back. Jo and Brick had a small problem at the Fort, so they were asked to stay. Now we just have four groups. Unfortunately two groups had a few problems with the parents. Bridgette and Geoff, and Zoey and Mike. You guys will be voted off on a campfire ceremony.

"But two teams were just eliminated. Isn't that enough for now?" said Courtney.

Well, that would be a good way to end it… But this is much more fun. So who will be eliminated tonight? And the loser is… Both!

"WHAT!" yelled Courtney, Duncan, Trent and Gwen.

Mike and Zoey are actually eliminated, but Bridgette and Geoff chose they didn't want to be here anymore. So we have a final tomorrow. Get ready.

"I'm sorry guys. I just don't feel comfortable to be here any longer." said Bridgette.

"I get it Bridge." replied Courtney.

"Was it an argument between the two of you?" said Gwen.

Bridgette looked at Gwen in a 'it's private' look. Gwen understood and got up. Courtney stayed though. Courtney gave Bridgette a 'you don't fool me' look. Bridgette began to sob.

"When did you find out?" said Courtney understanding.

"During a stay at his parents'. They were furious, Courtney. They called me a whore." Bridgette cried.

Courtney hated seeing her friend in a lot of pain. She walked out of her cabin knowing she would need some time to herself. She went into her bunk and noticed Duncan unpacking their stuff. She went behind him and wrapped her arms around his waist. "So I guess she told you the news too." Courtney nodded into his back. "Duncan, this is the reason I didn't want us to have any intercourse during our time here." Duncan turned to look at her, "Oh, please, during the end of the first season we ended up having sex just before you were voted off." Courtney looked at him angry, "Trust me, that moment is stuck to me. A girl wishes the first time to be romantic and in a comfortable bed, but I got kinky and on the side of the tree." Duncan laughed. Courtney punched his shoulder, "Duncan, I am serious though. Bridgette is so upset, I can only imagine how Geoff is." Duncan looked at her sincerely, "Trust me, Princess, he isn't any better." At that moment Gwen walked in. She looked at Duncan who ended up getting the message to leave. "What's up, Gwen?" said Courtney. Gwen began to cry. Courtney hugged her. "Court, what if I am pregnant too? I need to know." Courtney looked into Gwen's eyes. Courtney was thankful about her mother's advice about her way of pregnancy. "Gwen, if you are pregnant, I want to wish you and Trent happiness. But if you are not, remember this advice. A child will remind you of the moment you were when you got the news, not about how it was created. If you want the news to be of an anticipated woman, married for two years, with her and her husband waiting for that first born, that is what you should always think when having any sexual encounter." Gwen looked at Courtney in awe. "That is really good advice." Courtney smiled, "My mom told me that advice. She said she was sixteen when she first met my dad. He was twenty, and he told her that when she turned twenty, they would have their first child. She got pregnant at eighteen, but she was already married to him. She was actually sad that Dan took more than three months to show up in their lives. Then I three years later. Somehow my mom ended up having a hard time getting pregnant again, until my little brother showed up. She said it was always the anticipation of having us that drove her to such happiness when we were already born." Gwen was really glad to have heard that, and she noticed that Bridgette was on the door crying. Courtney walked up to her. "Bridge, don't cry. The baby will feel your pain. I don't want my godson in pain." Bridgette looked at Courtney. "Wow, Courtney. That's really nice of you to say." Courtney giggles "Well that was our promise in the first season, wasn't it. When I had my kids, you and Geoff would be the godparents, and vice-versa. Gwen walked up to them "I wish I had a friendship like that." Bridgette and Courtney hugged her. "Welcome to the club."

Duncan was lying on the floor in Geoff's cabin. Geoff on the bed and Trent on the other bunk. "It's times like this I'm thankful Princess is so uptight about us doing it." Geoff looked at Duncan with a 'you're damn lucky' look. Trent had a panicked look on his face "Gwen and I had sex last night. I didn't have a condom on." Duncan looked at Trent in a little nervousness then laid back down, "Thank you Princess." Geoff looked at Duncan, "I wanted to ask you if you want to be the god father to my kid." Duncan looked at Geoff, "Of course, dude. I'll raise him to be like me." Geoff cringed in panic "Leave the raising to Bridge and I. Also, I wanted to tell you how you felt about what Bridge told me." "Well, what did she tell you?" said Duncan. "She said that Courtney already paid for a semester at her local university. She's remodeling the apartment so she can live with Andy?" Duncan looked at Geoff and remembered her and Anderson talking about something private. He knew it, he thought. Duncan got up and ran out of the cabin. "You shouldn't have said that. I'm sure that she might have thought that before they went to visit the folks." Geoff looked at Trent knowing he was right. "I did screw up didn't I." said Geoff. "Geoff, you just need to watch what you say sometimes." Geoff nodded.

Courtney was already in bed sleeping. By now Geoff and Bridgette were gone. Duncan had been in the bathroom for the past two hours. When he walked out he went to the bunk and began to stare at the ceiling with glassy eyes.

Gwen and Trent were sleeping together on the bed. "What if I'm pregnant too, Trent? What will we do?" Trent just hugged her tighter. "We will get through this together." Gwen hugged Trent and they began to fall asleep with nothing on their minds but the sound of their own snores.
