Hay guys I am finally able to add the 9th chapter of the story! This one took a long time because of life stuff getting in the way leaving me little time to write my stories so lets just begin!
Chapter 9: The Dark Realm
As Sonic finally comes to his senses again the group decides to head for tails' lab in the Mystic Ruins to talk to him about Demise. Tails was stunned at this question
"What? Your serious?!" Tails asks Rage
"Unfortunately yes, what information do you have on him?" Rage asks Tails
"Not as much as my anti version would have but I do have enough to help you face him." Tails says pulling up a file on his computer then transferring the file to a larger screen. "What I do have is that he is and may still be the most powerful dark being ever. He broke free from the Dark Realm in an attempt to steal the Chaos Emeralds in their early development stages as the gods were making them. However this caused a major war between the Dark and the Light realm. Eventually the gods decided to send one of their own to Mobius to stop him. The Goddess that was chosen sealed him away in a temple with a strong seal of light, stopping the crisis. This later became known as "The Great War" for it is what gave the people of the light realm a fear of what the demons and people from the Dark Realm can do. The Gods then knew that the emeralds would need a protector for if the seal is to be broken only they can reseal it. First they gave it to the Tribes Knuckles and Tikal descend from, then when Knuckles died it was passed to you Rage. Thats all the information that has been passed in the worlds scripts, I fear a lot of the information according to the legend has been lost over time however."
"Hmm... so then Demise may prove to be quite a pain in the ass to rid of." Rage says
"Yeah the only way to reseal him is to defeat him in battle and then use the spell that created the seal and seal him in a spike with the Sword Of Chaos." Tails says
"You mean my blade is not just an item to show my status." Rage says looking at it
"No there is much more to it then that this being one of them" Tails says
"Well we should be going, thanks for the help Tails!" Rage says as the group leaves and departs to Station Square
After they get off the train Rage and the rest head for the last remaining portal to the Dark Realm that had been opened.
"You guys ready for this?" Rage asks before they go in
"Yeah..." Nova says
They enter through the portal to end up in a ruined city
"Damn what happened here?" Dawn asks
"Hmm... This must be the ruins of the Capital City that was destroyed during part of the 'Great War' by those brave warriors that fought the demons on their own land." Rage says
"Rage hush up a minute you hear that?" Icezer says softly
"... yeah it sounds like some kind of radio chatter." Rage says trying to pinpoint the location of the radio when they find the radio they overhear the chatter
"You get all of your sorry asses over their a eliminate them! I don't care how many of you die get it done or I will have your ass hung over my fireplace!" the hear what sounded like Christian over the radio
"Yes sir right away sir!" the other man say over the radio
"Shit... sounds like they know we are here and they will be here any second now..." Rage says frowning at the radio.
Well that's the end of this chapter! I know it's short but it's all I have time to do right now.
