I figured to change the Name for this Chapter as I was writing it so besides that in the form of announcements this Chapter will Introduce the following two OC, Destiny and Dark Nova both belong to Riakou927.
Chapter X: Fusion
"Rage what are we going to do?" Xage says
"Simple,we get out of here before they catch us!" Rage says
"I think not" chuckles Christian jumping down from a platform "I have a better idea!" he says forming a ball of dark energy then releasing the energy. The result was all of Rage's group gone from Christians sight "Now with them split up they will be too worried about grouping back up that Mephilies and I will have enough time to start our Master Plan into motion... funny that they think we would try that Solaris thing again...no this will be much worse then that!" Christian laughs
(With Nova and Rage)
The two crimson hedgehogs are dumped in a small pond in the middle of a large forest
"Damn... when did Christian have the element of surprise..." Rage groans after they swim to shore
"I think he got lucky to split us up like this..." Nova grumbles knocking water out of his left ear then a high pitched scream is heard
"What the hell did you hear that Nova?" Rage asks jumping to his feet
"How could I not?" Nova says darting to his own feet "Should we check it out?"
"Its in our best interest." Rage says "Come on!"
The two run in the direction they hear the scream from
Meanwhile Thallatta, Xeto, Christain, Scrouge, a Dark version of Nova and some kind of Chaos Beast were ambushing a female hedgehog
"What should we do with her?" the Chaos Beast asks
"Good question I say we kill her slowly!" Scrouge chuckles
"What about we torture her then kill her?" Xeto says with a smirk
"Why don't we sap her Chaos Energy?" Thallatta says
"How about we simply use her to our advantage" Christian says plainly
"I have a better idea!"
"What was that?" the Chaos Beast asks
"I don't know UCB!" Thallatta says looking around when two Crimson blurs circle the group then stop in front of the girl to reveal Rage and Nova.
"You two?!" Christian screams "How could you find each other so fast?!" he yells
"You dropped us in the same spot." Rage chuckles "I should thank you for that, but that will be the day you finally give up."
"Xeto, UCB, Dark Nova, Scrouge take care of these assholes!' Thallatta says warping out with Christian
"Finally some fun!" UCB says turning into a Fire Chaos beast cracking his knuckles
"You ready for this Rage?" Nova asks grabbing his weapon 'The Sword of Chaos'
"Only if you are!" Rage chuckles The Blade of Chaos appearing in his right hand (Just a side note, The Sword of Chaos and the Blade of Chaos are different weapons, Rage uses the Blade of Chaos and Nova uses the Sword of Chaos, they both are sword however Rage's is a tad longer then a normal sword and not shaped like one either making them look a lot difference in size)
The four foes charge for Rage and Nova as the two charge at them. Rage grabs Scrouge by the foot and throws him into a tree then gets by water from UCB who changed to a Water Chaos Beast, then Changes to a Cosmic Chaos Beast and hammers nova with a punch to the chest.
"Fire Chaos Beam!" Rage yells Blasting Dark nova into a the tree with Scrouge then Nova lands a punch and kick combo to Xeto then uses his elbow to send Xeto into the pile.
"Your Next ugly!" Rage says
"Im afraid not." he chuckles transforming yet again, but this time into a Zero Chaos Beast then Hammering Nova and Rage both with his fists causing major damage to both of them
"Nova, I don't think that we can defeat him in time in our normal forms..." Rage says getting up
"What do you suggest Super Form?" Nova asks
"No... we need to go to our strongest!" Rage says "It the other three assholes wake up its just going to be the same pattern again."
"But even with our strongest forms one of us might screw up and get us both killed... I have an idea to add on..." Nova says he then whispers in Rages ear "When I say so use Chaos Control to warp to that tree stump over there" he says pointing to a near by stump
"Why?" Rage asks Nova
"Just trust me, Rage." Nova replys
"You can do whatever you want it will just increase how long it will be before you die!" UCB says
"Ready Nova?" Rage says preparing the Chaos Emeralds
"Yup," Nova grins, Rage throws the Chaos Emeralds in the air then both he and Nova jump up and use the Emeralds to the fullest each can do. Nova's Transformation finishes first into his True Hyper Form. Shortly after Rage floats down from the air in his Ultima Chaos Form.
"Okay Nova on your go." Rage grins, Nova nods at Rage telling him to go ahead with the plan
"CHAOS CONTROL!" the two hedgehogs yell, Rage appears on the stump shortly after Nova apears in the exact same spot. A bright golden light blinds the girl and UCB for a few seconds
"What the hell just happened?" UCB says regaining hi vision to see a very bright red hedgehog where Nova and Rage once stood "Are you Rage or Nova?!" he yells
The hedgehog warps in front of UCB then lands a roundhouse kick to the beasts gut causing the beast to fall to the ground with a gigantic Thud. Then the hedgehog walks up to UCB and grins "you can call me Ravo." the hedgehog says sounding like Nova and Rage at the same time, the the UCB changes to a Fire Chaos Beast. Ravo however countered the fire with a beam of Water causing the UCB to turn to ashes.
"I am far from finished Ravo!" a voice says "Just wait until I get the energy to form another one, then we'll see who's better!"
"We'll be waiting" Ravo says then a bright light covers him blinding the girl. When the girl looks she sees both Rage and Nova standing back in their normal forms
"thanks you two... I may have been in serious trouble if you two weren't here." she says to Rage and Nova
"Hay no biggie." Nova says
"What did they want with you anyways?" Rage asks the girl
"They wanted me dead so that Eclipse could try and reign again." she said "But that's a story for a different time..." she flips her hair out of her left eye "How rude of me not to introduce myself, I am Destiny the Hedgehog" she says
"Nice to meet you Destiny, I'm Rage The Hedgehog" Rage says
"Your Knuckles replacement right?" Destiny asks, Rage just nods "and who are you?" she asks facing Nova
"Me? I am Nova the Hedgehog." he says
"I must say that was quite the trick you pulled off Rage, Nova" says Tikal approaching them "A fusion with the power of the Chaos Emeralds haven't been pulled off since Sonic and Shadow turned into Shadic to fight Nazo. I am impressed you two could do it beyond your Hyper Forms." she say
"Yeah... I truly had no idea how that Fusion was going to turn out... looks like it was well worth it." Rage says
"You make a good point Rage" Nova says
"Nova, Rage I have something for you, as thanks for saving me." Destiny says
"No you don't need to." Rage says
"No please I insist, I think it will benefit you both she says forming two balls of what looked like Cosmic Chaos yet its energy felt different. The orbs then floated to Rage and Nova until their bodies absorbed the orbs. "I grant you both the power of Dimensional Chaos... before you two only me and my family's bloodline have been able to use it. I trust the both of you will use it wisely." Destiny says to the two hedgehogs
"Wow Destiny thanks." Rage says Nova nods in agreement.
"Now we must get going, we need to meet up with the rest of our friends." Nova says
"I must be going too, I need to make sure the Chao up on Angel Island don't cause Knuckles too much grief." Tikal chuckles at the thought
"Se you later Tikal." Rage says waving to the female Echidna then turns to Destiny "will we meet again." Rage asks
"One day in the future maybe... but that depends on what fate has in store for all of us." she responds
"Until that day... goodbye." Rage says to Destiny as he and Nova walk off to find their pals
(Later)
"Wow Nova it was crazy how we were able to pull that Fusion off... it sure feels weird though when were like that... a large plane of nothing but us..." Rage says
"Yeah, that's what happens when two Chaos users form a Fusion form... the form takes half of the traits from one and half from the other, then the two people end up there until the both agree that its time to power down." Nova says
"Well lets get going, who knows where the rest of the guys are." Rage says
