Chapter XI: Demise's fall, The real plan
Rage and Nova were able to meet the rest of the team back at Angel Island in the light realm and got back to locating their enemies.
"This is hopeless… they could be anywhere here or in the Dark Realm…" Nova sighs
"Rage!" a voice yells from the sky, the team looks to see tails flying up to them franticly
"What Tails?" Rage says quickly to the two tailed fox
"It's horrible! Gran Metropolis is under attack by Demise!" Tails pants, "and we can't reach him some energy field is blocking anyone from getting in G.U.N can't even blast it down."
"…Alright I'll go see what I can do… you guys stay here, I have a feeling on why no one can get in." Rage says
"Oh no Rage, we are going with you!" Xage says with a hint of anger in his voice
"If you come and the field is what I think you will be useless, if it can only be breached or passed by someone who is pure light then only I can get in. Just like he was defeated thousands of years ago, by one of the guardians before me and even Knuckles' tribe." Rage says "So it's best if you stay here." Rage turns to his friends and disappears.
"I hate it when he's like this…" Icezer sighs shaking his head.
Grand Metropolis 13:00
Rage is met by the field of energy blocking everyone else off. Rage takes a deep breath and walks right into the barrier and is met by Demise,
"So you decided to show up…" Demise says
"What makes you think I wouldn't?" Rage whispers to himself
"Because I have waited a millennia for this the least I can do for this pitiful world is give its 'hero' some time to think if he will actually do battle with me… tell you what, if you choose to fight me follow me through this portal and we will do battle there… if not you can go cry and sob like the rest of your kind is…" Demise chuckles "The choice is yours, 'hero'" he finishes in a mocking tone and with a pillar of darkness he is gone leaving a portal of dark energy.
"You'll see" Rage says walking into the portal he is transported to a floating island with Demise on the other side
"So, you have decided to meet your fate in battle after all… It surpises me to see such valor coming from a mobian… you weak furry creatures…" Demise starts
"Weak?!" Rage yells in anger
"Soon after you fall… I will take the power I've been seeking for a millennia… The Chaos Emeralds will be mine and the pitiful rock you call home will be nothing more than dust!" Demise chuckles "Now the only question is how long can you last?"
"Wow you have one big mouth…" Rage sighs summoning the blade of chaos "Now let's get this over with shell we?"
"As you wish…" Demise chuckles and charges for Rage and swings his blade at him
Rage uses his blade and blocks the attack at then tries to throw a Chaos Spear at Demise but he can't use any Chaos Energy "damn… I can't access chaos energy here." Rage curses
"You are nothing without your Chaos powers Rage!" Demise laughs attacking Rage again
"Wrong!" Rage yells countering the attack "I still have other powers!" he then coats his blade in lightning and sends a slash of electrical energy at his foe. Then while Demise is on the ground shocked Rage jumps and his sword glows with light energy and he stabs Demise right in the skull.
"Ugh… you… are like no other enemy I have fought… but remember my hate for this world will never die… I will simply move it to another being…" Demise laughs before falling dead
Angel island 16:45
Rage returns to the group and the look up to Rage
"You did it Rage, Demise is dead?" Christina asks Rage who nods in response
"Hay guys!" Sonic yells to them carrying Elise in his arms with Silver next to him "I saved Elise and she's safe!"
"Great but now what?" Rage asks
"I say we find where our enemies are hiding." Amy brings up
"Well look no more you pesky bugs!" laughs Christian floating in the air behind them
"Christain! What are you doing here?" Icezer yells at him
"Me? I am here to kill the princess…" he grins
"But why?! If you are going to revive Solaris you need her alive!" Silver yells
"Fools… We never planned to do that at all! Mephilies was just faking that the whole time! What we plan to do will be much, much, much worse!" Christain laughs "No princess, meet my Chaos Spear!" Christain forms a spear of black energy that resembled normal Chaos energy.
"No!" Rage dashes in front of Elise getting drilled by the Chaos Spear and is sent back ten feet. "…what…how did I get damaged…chaos energy…. I am… immune to…" Rage huffs
"This is not normal chaos energy, This is Dark Chaos Energy from the Dark Emeralds!" Christian laughs evilly
"Impossible! Those were locked away in the temple of Demise!" Xage gasps
"I have you to thank for this Xage… you were the one who showed me to it after all!"Christain chuckles
"You… wont get away with this!" Nova yells "Cosmic Chaos Blade Rush!" Nova dashes at Christian with the sword of chaos in his right hand beaming with Cosmic Chaos. He slashes Christian right across the chest and then jumps back Christian falling to the ground shortly after
"You all will pay!" Christian spits summoning a group of demons and warping away.
The group was surrounded by the demons and Rage was still on the ground recovering from the hit he took as the demons jumped at the group. When a fire red wolf jumps down from above
"Fire Burst!" he yells unleashing a blast of fire burning the demons and blinding everyone
When the light dies Rage finally stands up "Good Timing Flare" Rage says in thanks to his friend
"Hay like I was going to let you guys have all the fun!" Flare grins
"Nice save thanks Flare…" Xage says to the wolf
"yeah… Rage… I came to tell you something." Flare says "Christian and Mephilies and Eclipse have opened an interdemensional plane linking the multiverses!"
"But how?!" Rage yells
"Eclipse made it…" Flare says
