Hi, how's everyone been doing? I have been so busy and have no time to write. Bonus to that, writer's block. Worst, when I was almost finish with chapter 9, over 400 words, Microsoft Word decided to delete everything. I almost gave up on rewriting it. Well, I waited until today to write it anyway and it was deleted yesterday.
I no longer feel enthusiastic when it comes to writing nowadays. I just hope I don't lost interest and give up on writing all together before I complete my stories.
Thank you so much for the reviews. Hope you guys review again. Goodnight.
CHAPTER 9
Word counts: 500
"No! They did not rape me!"
That one sentence seemed to lift the enormous weight off Sesshomaru's shoulders. He had been emotional, he realized. Or as emotional as his emotionless nature allowed. Without saying, Sesshomaru who always has absolute control over his feelings, did not like it.
But why was he not surprise?
When it concerned Rin, there was no telling how far he would stray off his path to keep her safe. How many times had Sesshomaru, who never cared about anyone but himself, risked his own life over and over to protect her?
Rin had long captured his icy heart with her warm hands when she was but a mere child. He had come to terms and accepted that reality.
Rin was important to him.
So important that he did not mind dying in the process to protect her. Not that he would allow himself to die.
"I'm sorry for making you worry, Lord Sesshomaru," Rin apologized.
He wanted to deny that he was worried, but brushed it off. Knowing Rin, she would insist that he worried no matter what he said. She always saw the world differently from others. Through her eyes, even the heartless Sesshomaru who knew no mercy was kind.
Kind, he would have laughed if he were the type. Rin kept insisted that he was caring instead of seeing him as he truly was; the killing perfection. But he did not hate that side of her.
No, she was not naïve. She had seen more evil and darkness than most people her age, but being the gentle soul she was, she focused on the good side in others.
Sesshomaru reached his palace at dusk. He brought her in through the backdoor where fewer servants lingered to avoid commotion. He did not wish for anyone to see Rin in her torn attire.
Rin was taken by the female servants appointed to help her with the bathing. She did not like the idea of being aided like a child, but she was in no mood to argue. She was too exhausted and busy killing the feelings of love that seemed to increase with each passing seconds.
"Rin, maybe it is best you come back with us!" said Inuyasha cockily, mocking Sesshomaru at the fact that the girl got kidnapped right after she returned to Sesshomaru. Inuyasha, Miroku, and Sesshomaru's fierce generals returned the next day after they were informed of Rin's safe return.
Sesshomaru glared at Inuyasha, wanting to kill him for insulting; that he is incapable of protecting Rin.
"Thank you for the kind offer, Master Inuyasha. But I'm happy to finally return home to Lord Sesshomaru." Rin replied before the fight could break out because Kagome and Sango were at Edo watching over the children and there was no one here who could put the half-demon in line.
With Rin's words, the conflict ended.
"Keh," Inuyasha crossed his arms.
Sesshomaru's frost heart melted by Rin's word; his pride swelled.
Home.
Sesshomaru was Rin's home.
.
Can't believe how long this little chapter took me. 4 hours plus can you believe it? Sigh, glad that it's finally done. Thanks for the read. Goodnight.
