I forgot to mention this in Chap 2, but sorry for the delay of all my FanFics

Here's S:HtH Chap 3

ENJOY!

Wes

I was so confused. I was teleported to a magical Universe where this three hundred and something year old wizard-hero, who wanted us to become wizard-heroes like him and save his Universe. Yeah, I wanted to see what happened if we all stepped in the portal, but I didn't think it was actually magic!

Eon floated out of the golden dome of a room he teleported us in, and we all ran after him. He floated into a very long hallway. In that hallway, we passed a green, leafy and wingless dragon, I stopped for a second and stared at the dragon in awe. Eon and the others stopped with me.

"That is Camo. He is a Skylander, one of your allies, Wes. One day, you will be able to summon his powers." Eon said.

"Oh my God! It's actually Camo!" Xavier said and he shook the quadruped's left forepaw. "Hello, Mr. Camo, I'm Xavier, I am a huge fan of your work, especially your Sun Blasts."

"Uh...thanks." Camo said. His voice was very nasal, even though he was nose-less. "Master Eon, what did you say about the male to your left? He would be able to summon my powers?"

"This is Wes. He is the Life and Tech Portal Master the Prophecy foretold of." Eon said.

Camo smiled. "Then I can't wait to work with you. I'll fully co-operate in our fusion."

"I...I can't wait either." I said.

"Camo, alert any Skylanders you pass by: Kaos is near! We will start the battle as soon as I give the Portal Master's their Portals." Eon said.

Camo nodded. He jumped up, and went into the ground. He must've actually swam through the marble floor, because small ruptures formed and vines trailed his path.

"Whoa." I said.

"Impressive, I know. And that is only the beginning of his powers. Come now, we must give you your own powers." Eon said.

Kylie

That Skylander, Camo, was epic. I just saw a leaf dragon that could swim through the ground! And according to Xavier he had something called a Sun Blast, which I'm pretty sure is just an epic fireball. And I was going to have Skylanders to command just like Camo! Maybe even cooler than Camo!

We ran behind Eon, until we came outside. We all stopped in our tracks when we saw the outside. There were lots of sheep eating grass and a few birds (or maybe winged dragons) in the sky, but that was the normal stuff. Islands floated in the sky, which reminded me: We were also on a floating island! And in front of us, a blue dome that gave off a great white beam of light that shot endlessly into the sky. I didn't need magical visions about Skylands to know that this was the Core of Light.

"Where are the other Skylanders?" Xavier said.

"Preparing for battle." Eon said.

"Wait...won't the fight happen here?" Randal said.

"Yes, so we must commence the ritual immediately." Eon said. He touched his cane to the Core of Light and a door large enough for even him to pass opened up. We followed him inside of the Core of Light. The Core of Light was a bright white on the inside, but not too bright. A white orb floated in the center. The same Elemental symbols appeared around the orb that appeared on the portal that brought us here.

"We need to stand on the symbols just like we did before." Xavier said. We stood on the symbols we were supposed to, I stood on the mountain and skull symbols. The floor began to shake.

"What's going on?" Wes said.

"Why is the floor shaking?" I said.

"Your powers and the Elemental powers of the Core of Light are mixing. Soon, the two powers will agree and will create your Portals. Then I will give you my powers." Eon said.

"You're going to sacrifice your powers? Don't you need those to fight Kaos?" Randal said.

"Yes. You will have your Portals, but not your powers. Not until the battle is over." Eon said.

The floor was still shaking, so much that I almost fell, but Xavier caught me.

"Don't leave the symbols! If you do, it could cause an explosion!" Xavier said.

"WHAT?" Randal said.

"The explosion wouldn't harm you, but speed up the process. However, the Core of Light would be destroyed, allowing Kaos to corrupt Skylands." Eon said.

"Well, I guess we just have to stay on these symbols." Wes said.

Just as he said that, the floor stopped shaking. "So do we have our powers now?" I asked.

"Brace yourself!" Xavier said. A shockwave pushed us into the inner walls of the Core of Light. I hit my head before anything, and I instantly got an intense headache. I saw Eon, also rubbing his head. He looked weaker.

"Now do we have powers?" I asked.

"Look on your wrist." Xavier said.

I looked at my right wrist, and saw a stone bracelet. The Earth and Undead symbols flashed on the bracelet.

"This? This is our power?" Wes said.

"These are just our portals. They haven't been powered up yet. They'll look much better once Master Eon puts his powers into them." Xavier said.

The floor shook again. "What? Are we still getting more powers?" I asked.

"No. That is Kaos." Eon said.

Randal

"Daaaammmn..." I said.

Kaos' fortress was a giant flying castle surrounded by a black mass. Smaller castles flew around our own island and fired at us. One castle opened up its drawbridge and these troll-like things jumped down. Some of them held guns and others held hammers. A few shot at us, but none of the bullets hit us.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" Wes said.

"Jet-Vac, Pop-Fizz, Gill Grunt, Hex, protect us!" Eon said. The Air, Magic, Water, and Undead symbols floated in the air in front of us. From the Air symbol, a humanoid, wingless bird with a jetpack and a gun fired on the trolls. From the Magic symbol, a gremlin with a backpack full of bottles threw the bottles and golden dust erupted in front of the trolls and blew them off the island. From the Water, a humanoid fish with a jet pack and harpoon gun shot harpoons at the trolls that were falling down onto the island. From the Undead, a female humanoid with grey skin and a black dress threw ghostly skulls at the trolls. All of the Skylanders stood at about five feet tall. They took out every troll that castle could throw at us in under ten seconds.

"Freakin' epic..." Kylie said.

"Let's go! Double Trouble, escort us!" Eon said. A tiki man with a staff the size of Eon's with a green orb on the top. He held up his staff and about ten tiny versions of him surrounded us. They moved with us and jumped in the way of any other blasts aimed at us, and the Skylander, Double Trouble, made more clones. We returned to the dome we were teleported in, and Eon tapped his staff on the wall and another passage opened up.

"Get ready guys." Xavier said. "We're about to witness a battle you'll never forget."

The new passage led to a balcony that gave us a perfect view of the battle. Creatures, both Skylanders and Kaos' forces, I never thought existed battled alongside and against each other. Dragons, shark men, fish people, walking trees, Cyclopes, things I couldn't even name, all lived and died before me.

"Master Eon," Xavier said. "Trigger Happy is fighting a horde of Cyclopes aided by Air Spell Punks. He can't fight them."

"Why can't he fight them?" Kylie said.

"Air Spell Punks cast spells that make themselves and their allies immune to projectiles, and Trigger Happy's only weapons are his guns." Xavier said.

"Good eye, Xavier." Eon said. "Stump Smash, aid Trigger Happy!" The living tree I saw earlier started to pound the Cyclopes around Trigger Happy into the ground.

"Hey, that girl ninja looks weak." Wes said.

"Ah, yes, that is Stealth Elf, another one of your Skylanders. She has been weakened by a blast from one of the cannons on Kaos' own castle by the looks of it. Whirlwind, heal Stealth Elf!" Eon said. A winged unicorn flew over Stealth Elf and fired a rainbow at her, which must've healed her, because she started hacking trolls right away.

"This is amazing." Xavier said. "It's exactly how I remember it."

"What's happening to Kaos' castle?" I asked.

"He is sending in Gear Golems." Eon said "They are Mech suits enchanted with Elemental powers."

"They're pretty big. Will the Skylanders be able to stop them?" I asked. The Gear Golem stood at about ten feet tall.

Xavier laughed. "Of course they will! They're the Skylanders!"

One of the Skylanders that protected us earlier, Pop Fizz, drank from one of his many bottles, and her transformed into a darker blue version of himself, with large claws. He jumped up and ripped one of the Gear Golem's head's from it's enchanted Fire body, blowing up the entire machine.

A red beam fired onto the island, and all of the fighting stopped. Kaos' forces and Skylanders alike. A very small bald man, about four feet tall, walked out of the beam. He had black war paint on his eyes and wore a tiny black robe.

"Who is that?" Wes asked.

"Kaos." Eon and Xavier said together.

"HIM? He's the super evil and dangerous threat to your entire Universe?" Kylie said.

"Don't judge him by his size. Kaos' power is great, and this is only his natural physical form. He can become much bigger. Much stronger." Eon said.

"Master Eon." Kaos had a high pitched voice. "I give you two options. Option one: Surrender to me. Option two: Die in a painful and pointless battle."

"You have made those threats for ten years, Kaos!" Eon said. "You may be strong, but the power of the Skylanders is greater!"

"Maybe so, but the Skylosers need a general, someone to command their powers, a Portal Master, you, Eon. And a Skyloser is only as powerful as their Portal Master. And Eon, you have become weak in old age." Kaos said.

"Yeah? Well he's not the only Portal Master!" Kylie yelled.

"Ky, shut up!" Xavier said.

"What? Who are you? I've never seen a Skylander like you!?" Kaos said.

"We are the new Portal Masters! We're the four Planet Earthlings the Prophecy talked about." Kylie said.

"Kylie, what are you doing?!" Eon said.

"I've dealt with these type of people before. You just need to talk back to them, and they'll back off." Kylie said. "And as soon as Eon activates our Portals, you'll..."

"He hasn't activated your Portals?" Kaos grinned.

"Well, you screwed us now." Xavier said.

Kaos appeared on the railing of the balcony. Eon pointed his staff at him, but Kaos took it from him and threw it off the balcony. Eon fired blue light from his hands that Kaos deflected with a mere flick of his hand. Kaos fired red light that his Eon square in the chest. Eon fell to the ground. Red lightning surrounded Kaos' hands.

"Master!" one troll said. "Don't you need to conserve your power for destroying the Core of Light?" that troll was then electrocuted.

"Yes, thank you minion. Destroying these Planet Earthlings would be a waste anyway, now that their Portals cannot be activated." Kaos said. He then teleported to the Core of Light. "And now that Eon is down, the Skyloser's power cannot be commanded, making them all weak!"

"We've still got sum fight leff in us!" one Skylander said who spoke with an Australian accent.

"Ya! We'll keep un fightin' ya till we all get tunned intuh essence!" one said with a Jamaican accent. The Skylanders cheered.

"No..." Eon said weakly. The Skylanders stopped cheering.

"Eon! You're ok!" Xavier knelt to Eon's side.

"Not for long. There is no time. Kaos has one the battle, but not the war. Go now to Planet Earth. Sunburn, bring me my staff." A phoenix teleported in front of us with Eon's staff in it's beak. Sunburn breathed fire onto the staff until the wood burned to ashes and nothing was left but the orb. "The orb is the key to activating your portals. Xavier knows the ritual to transfer the power. I will open up a portal to Planet Earth and put the Skylander's in Figure Form so that they can go with you to Planet Earth."

"No, Eon, that'll...you're weak. That'll take up so much of your power...your physical form would be destroyed." Xavier said.

"I know the cost. Kaos is right. My power is no match for his anymore. I am only holding the Skylanders from their full potentials. They can do so much more than what you have seen today."

"But without the Skylanders in Skylands, who'll protect everyone?" Wes asked.

"Kaos has already won the battle to be fought in Skylands by destroying the Core of Light. There is nothing to be done but for you all to fight him." Eon said.

"I...I'm sorry to tell you this on your deathbed," I said. "But this is your Universe. I'm sorry that your world is ending, I really am, but I have my own world."

"Randy..." Wes said.

"How could you say that?" Kylie said.

Eon chuckled. "Randal...Planet Earth is the closest Universe to Skylands, they are connected. If Skylands dies, Planet Earth dies and vice versa."

"So we have to save both Universes?" Wes said.

"That's our destiny. Even you, Randy." Xavier said.

I was speechless.

"It will take all of the eight Elemental powers to defeat Kaos. Go now! Go home, Portal Masters. You will learn the truth behind anything you need to know as time goes by. Kaos...Kaos will send his forces to Planet Earth to defeat you and take over that Universe as well. You are the only hope." Eon said. A bright light came from the dome behind us. "The portal...the p-portal has been opened."

"And now I will destroy the Core of Light and take over Skylands!" Kaos said. His army cheered and the Skylanders slowly backed away now that they were basically powerless.

"Skylanders...a-acti...activate F-f-f-figure Form." Eon said. His body seemed to fade away. Short beams of light shot into the sky, which got the attention of Kaos and his army.

"It's too late for a surrender, Eon. Retreating your Skylosers will do nothing." Kaos said. Red lighting surrounded the Core of Light, causing the entire island to shake.

"He's destroying the Core of Light!" Xavier said.

"Go! Take the orb with you! This will not be our last encounter!" Eon said. His body was barely visible.

Xavier grabbed the orb and ran into the dome. We followed him until we reached the portal. We all stepped onto the symbols. Just as we were about to be transported, The Core of Light exploded. Purplish shadows entered the dome and came after us. One nearly touched us, but the light beams of the portal repeled it. The light dimmed down and we were once again behind the diner on Planet Earth.

Xavier

"...Eon...the Skylanders...they're all..." Kylie said. "It's all my fault."

"You didn't know what would happen." I said. "It's not your fault. The Skylanders are in Figure Form, so they're safe, and only Eon's body was destroyed."

"So he's a ghost?" Kylie said.

"Something like that." I said.

"Why would you say that?" Wes said to Randal.

"It's not my fight!" Randal said.

"Eon gave up his body to save us and his world, and you're just gonna say you won't do anything to help?" Kylie said.

"It's his world, not mine!" Randal said.

"You heard what Eon said. Skylands and Earth are connected. If one dies, so does the other." I said.

"Well the Core of Light exploded and Kaos won. I don't see any shadows or giant magic robots attacking us! He was probably lying." Randal said.

"He wasn't lying. Kaos just hasn't corrupted Skylands yet. He's going to enjoy his rule in Skylands and then try to take over Earth. But if Kaos turns Skylands into the Outlands..." I said.

"What would happen?" Wes said.

"It's hard to say. The entire planet could become a volacnic surface, the air could become poison, water could turn into acid, animals into monsters, storms would go on endlessly, either way, life on Earth would be exterminated." I said.

"So now what? I have to fight someone else's fight so that I don't die?" Randal said.

"You've never had a problem fighting my fight's for me." Wes said. "What happened to the Randy that always stood up for people."

"That's not me. I don't even remember those fights." Randal said.

"What do you mean?" Kylie said.

"Never mind. How do we stop this? Turn on our powers and tell the Skylanders to kick Kaos' ass so we can all go home?" Randal said.

"It won't be that easy. Kaos' will just send in small troops to take over. And as we defeat them, the troops will become larger with more powerful soldiers. Eventually, if we defeat all of those troops, Kaos himself will come to finish the job." I said.

"So how long will that take?" Randal said.

"Months. Maybe years." I said.

"Perfect. That's f'in perfect." Randal said.

"It is perfect." Wes said. "Imagine having Skylanders to fight with you for years. You would be set in life. You could have one fly you places, do your chores, etc."

"We don't have Skylanders fight alongside us." I said. "They literally fight for us."

"What do you mean?" Kylie said.

"Our Portals are special. They don't just summon Skylanders. As long as the Skylanders are in Figure Form, when we summon them, we can actually become them." I said.

"No way." Wes said. "That's what Camo meant by 'our fusion'. We're going to fuse together: Our minds and their bodies."

"That's badass." Kylie said.

"I guess it's kinda cool." Randal said.

"What are we waiting for?" Wes said. "Let's turn on our Portals. Eon said that Xavier knew how to do it."

"I do. It's really easy. We all need to call out one of our Elements and place one hand on the orb. After all of the Elements are called, the orb will power up our Portals." I said.

"I'll start us off." Wes said. He took the orb from me and held it with one had. "Life!"

Kylie put her hand on the orb. "Earth!"

I put my hand on it. "Air!"

We looked at Randal. He reluctantly put a hand on the orb. "Water." he said flatly.

"...Something's wrong." I said. "Once half of the Elements are in there, the orb is supposed to glow and vibrate."

"Well we all called out one Element." Wes said.

"To call out an Element, you have to really want to activate your Portal." I said.

"Well I sure as heck want to be a dragon." Wes said.

"Me too." Kylie said.

"Randy..." I said.

"What? I really want to do this! I don't want everyone on Earth to die!" Randal said.

"But do you want everyone in Skylands to live?" I asked.

"...Uh...yeah, sure." Randal said.

"C'mon? Do you really want the population of an entire Universe to die?" Kylie asked.

"No!" Randal said.

"Will you do anything to stop them from dying?" I asked.

Randal said nothing.

"That's the problem." I said. "Until you can find it in you to want to help Skylands, none of us can use our powers."
