Clary's P.O.V The rest of the day was fun. Jeff and I went to all the tourist attractions New York had to offer. We went to Times Square, we went for a little walk in Central Park, then to top it off we took a water taxi and went to see Lady Liberty. Jeff made me forget for a little while of what was happening, but no matter hard I tried I couldn't get that Jace guy out of my head. He seemed so dangerous, and standoffish at first, but then when he talked to me he was so nice, and caring. Like he actually cared for what I was saying. "Thanks for the awesome day." I said as I turned to my boyfriend who was currently looking at all the lights illuminating the street we were walking on. It was night time now and we currently walking down a street filled with little shops and cafe's. It was a clear cool night so I snuggled into Jeff a little more. "I'm glad you enjoyed it." He smiled down at me. We turned down a street, and saw a big flashing sign that read, Pandemonium Club and we saw a huge line up outside the door. "Hey lets go see whats going on over there!" Jeff said excitedly pulling me with him. It turned into being a club for teenagers and young adults, so we got in no problem. The club was filled with sweaty teenagers grinding on each other and making out. But the music was really good they had a DJ and everything. Jeff grabbed my hand and swayed to the sound music. I had to admit he was a very good dancer and I actually had fun despite me being a bad dancer when I spotted something. It was Jace and the three other kids from before, no one seemed to notice them but me, and they were all dressed in black leather (A weird choice for a dance club but hey I'm not one to judge). I turned back to Jeff, "Hey look, what do you think they're doing here?" And nodded my head into their general direction. Jeff turned his head to where I was pointing and said, "Umm, Clary I don't see anything, are you okay?" He turned back to look at me, "Maybe you need some fresh air." He smiled and let go of my hand. I went over to where Jace and the three other people were, and gave a look that hopefully said, 'Let's go outside' ... Jocelyn's P.O.V Maryse, Luke, and I were sitting at the table in the institutes kitchen, we had just finished dinner and the kids were out hunting for some demon. The past 20 minutes had been nothing but awkward as we sat at the table trying to find something to talk about. Even though the Lightwoods had been in the Circle along with Luke and I, we were never the closest even when Alec and Jonathan were born. Jonathan, the whole reason we were in this mess. It made me hate myself, that I was a major reason that he was born. I have tried over and over to tell myself that he wasn't my son, he was just some experiment that Valentine had created. But even after that, he was still my son no matter what. Luke finally broke the ice, "What happened to that girl you were housing here Maryse, Emily wasn't it?" Maryse looked up at him, then casted a warning glance at me, "We found out she was working with Jonathan." She said without breaking her stare with me. I widened my eyes, "How did you find out?" I asked, "She told us, after we told them Clary was coming back." Luke readjusted the way he was sitting so he was more comfortable, "So, was that the only reason she was here?" "No." Maryse answered, "I believe that she was originally here to do what she said she was going to do. I just think she met Jonathan and decided he had a better offer." She looked down almost ashamed, "So you sent her out." I asked, now fully invested in the conversation. Maryse turned her head to me again, "I told her she had 3 minutes to get out before I called the Clave, she took 5." "So now she's in the Silent City?" Luke asked. Maryse nodded her head. After that we sat in silence for a couple of seconds before I asked another question. "How are we going to get Clary's memories back." Maryse looked at me, sighed and opened her mouth. ... Ok for some reason My computer is being an idiot. So I am posting 2 chapters today, but they are two parts of the same chapter. Sorry for the inconvenience this is just how it's deciding to work :)
