AN: Yes, a quick update! I feel accomplished though I'm not entirely satisfied with this chapter. I hope you guys like it though! Enjoy!

They arrived to Mercy General in no time flat. Olivia was rushed to the back and the nurses wouldn't let Elliot go past the double doors. He paced back and forth until one of the secretaries made him sit in the waiting room, telling him that a doctor would be out shortly.

Not long after that, Fin, Cragen, Munch, Casey, and even Alex all showed up. They along with all the other officers who heard the call go out came in.

"Any word?" asked Cragen.

"Nothing yet. They won't tell me anything and they won't let me go back there. What if she thinks I left? I promised her I wouldn't leave her when it's serious," Elliot replied, still in shock.

"Elliot, take a seat and take a few deep breaths," Munch said, "Olivia will be fine."

"Yeah, Baby Girl is strong. She and Mini Liv will make it through," Fin said reassuringly.

Elliot sat down and put his head in his hands. He took a few deep breaths and scrubbed his hands down his face.

"What if they're not?" Elliot asked to no one in particular, "What if I lose one or both of them? I wouldn't be able to handle it. She's my everything and so is that baby she's carrying."

"Elliot, stop that. She'll be fine. You know Liv, she's a fighter and she always has been," Alex told him.

Just then the doctor came into the room.

"Family of Olivia Benson?"

The entire waiting area stood up and Elliot move forward. The doctor seemed a bit overwhelmed at all the people who responded to the one statement that he made.

"How is she?"

"She's fine. The baby, too. She had a placental abruption due to her high blood pressure. Has she been under any stress lately?"

"Not that I'm aware of," Elliot said, "It may be work related."

"Okay, well, I would like to keep her overnight and make sure to monitor her blood pressure and the baby. She'll be released tomorrow barring any complications, but I want her on maternity leave as soon as possible and for her to be as stress-free as possible."

Elliot felt a weight lift off his shoulders as he heard that she and his baby were going to be okay. He knew it would be hell for Liv to do without stress in her life. He still didn't know what to do about Tucker, but at the moment, he didn't care. All he wanted right now is to see Olivia.

"I'll do my best to make sure she is stress-free. Can I see her?"

"You can see her, but only two at a time," the doctor said. Elliot nodded and the doctor walked off.

"See? She's gonna be fine," Casey said.

"Yeah, thank God," Elliot said, "But we have another problem, Tucker."

"I wouldn't worry about him," Cragen said, "I'll handle it."

"Thanks," Elliot said.

"No problem. Now, go see how our girl is doing," Cragen said.

Elliot nodded and moved to where the nurse was standing, waiting to guide him to Olivia. He followed her back to one of the observation rooms.

Olivia laid in the bed, awake. She was rubbing her stomach where her daughter was kicking. She looked over when she heard a noise and saw Elliot come in. Her face broke into a smile.

"Hey."

"Hey."

He dragged a chair to her bedside and took her hand.

"I was so scared that I was going to lose one or both of you. I'm so glad you and Munchkin are okay."

"Me too. Looks like I'm going to be lying around for the next few weeks."

"Yeah, but I'll make sure you have things to occupy yourself with."

He kissed her hand.

"I was worried when I woke up and you weren't here."

"I know. I'm sorry, but they wouldn't let me back with you and I was fighting hard to get back here."

"I heard from the nurses and about the huge following I have in the waiting area."

Elliot chuckled and she smiled.

"Yeah, word travels fast. Um, I have something to tell you."

"What?"

"Don't get upset, but I kind of unintentionally told Tucker that you and I are together and that the baby is mine."

"You what?! El, what the hell were you thinking?!"

"I was so scared that I wouldn't see you or Munchkin ever again. I was so scared that if I didn't go with you in the ambulance that you wouldn't be there anymore. I was just terrified of losing both of you. I yelled at the paramedics and when I realized what I had done I looked at Tucker who told them to let me on."

"He was nice to you? I wonder what is up his sleeve. He's never nice to anyone without an ultimatum."

"I know, but you don't need to worry about it now. All you need to focus on is staying healthy for you and Munchkin."

"I'm definitely going to focus on that. El, I was scared too. I think Tucker's investigation was the cause of the stress. I've been stuck behind a desk mostly and there couldn't have been much else. That's the only trigger I can come up with."

Elliot hung his head. He regretted shooting that perp now. If he hadn't then this wouldn't have happened. She cupped his cheek to bring his eyes back up to her face.

"No, it's not your fault. Even without the investigation, something else could've triggered it. Don't blame yourself. I don't blame you. I never will. I love you so much."

He had tears shining in his eyes.

"I love you, too. Whatever happens, I'll always love you."

She smiled and he stood up to kiss her, happy that she and Munchkin were okay. When he pulled away, he noticed that they had an audience.

"I thought the doctor said only two at a time?" he asked the group standing there.

"He did," Alex replied, "But I convinced him that we should go together."

"Even I got shivers when she was 'convincing' him," Munch said.

Everyone chuckled.

"How're you feeling, Liv?" Casey asked.

"I'm good. Munchkin is okay, but I'm going to go crazy over the next several weeks," Olivia said.

"That's fine. As long as you two are healthy. If you set a toe inside the precinct I'll have detail on you to make sure you stay home, got it?" Cragen asked.

"Yes, Dad," Olivia said with a smile.

"Baby Girl, we'll make sure knucklehead stays outta trouble and try to help you be less bored. I got some games you can play," Fin said.

"I have some books you might like," Casey said.

"I have a kit that teaches you how to knit," Munch said.

Everyone looked at him.

"It's a hobby," he explained.

"Thanks, guys," Olivia said yawning.

"Alright, time to go," Cragen said.

They all said their goodbyes and headed out, leaving Elliot and Olivia alone again.

"We have a wonderful family," Olivia said.

"Yeah, we do. Get some rest," Elliot said.

"I can't with you all the way over there."

He chuckled and climbed in beside her, wrapping his arm around her middle with a protective hand on her belly. She leaned against him and soon both of them were asleep.
