Hey guys I'm back with this story again. Sorry for not writing anything in the past however long. I also got a new tablet for Christmas so I'll be writing a lot more. Hopefully. Well time to get this chapter written.

I woke up from my fluffy, soft cloud bed not because of the sun in my eyes or getting a snack, but because there was a knock on my door. I opened my eyes, slowly at first, wanting to go back into my blissful sleep. After the knocks kept repeating I finally got up. I took my first step, stretching a little before I walked to the front door. I opened the door and yawned sleepily, letting the guest know I was tired and wanted to go back to sleep.

"You must be tired Rainbow Dash, huh?"

I looked at the speaker and saw Derpy Hooves, the mailmare.

"Yeah I am, what brings you here?"

"I have a package for you!"

She happily grabbed a package from her pouch and hoofed it to me.

"Thanks Derpy, see you later!"

"Bye Rainbow Dash!"

Derpy turned and pulled a muffin from her pouch, she bit into it, not noticing the edge of the cloud and falling off. I couldn't help but laugh as Derpy flew up again blushing and holding her muffin.

I walked back to my kitchen and put the package on the table. I went to the fridge to grab a small snack before opening this package. Once I make myself a quick sandwich, I sit down next to the package. I took a bite out of my sandwich and started to open the package.

Inside the package is what looked like to be a uniform. A military uniform with a piece of paper on top reading

Rainbow Dash,

You have been selected to join the Army. You may choose to decline enrolling, but if you do not, you may never get a chance like this again. We may soon start a war with the ponies in Manehattan. We request you services and skills to help this Army win. If you choose to join, meet at the edge of Everfree Forest in uniform tomorrow at 1300 hours.

I looked at the note, then the uniform. This is what I've been wanting my whole life. I admit I got a little too excited and I jumped around the house laughing. I couldn't believe it, I was going to shoot guns and fight! I tried on the uniform, looking in the mirror I saw it looked slightly big, but I didn't care. I stayed home for the rest of the day packing for the next day and trying to sleep early.

Ok that's another chapter of war of pain, sorry for another short chapter but it is late at night, actually its really early so I will leave this for now. Another thing, sorry about asking for character ideas, but I think I will use characters I create. For now at least. Let me know if you want a clop scene later in the story or just to skip clop scenes. Well im off so bye!
