Chapter 5: Pain is just life
Yes it's been a while but from now on I'm gonna try to make it more interesting so enjoy.
Chase woke up on the solid stone floor. As he rolled to a more comfortable position he noticed that he was alone. Adam and Bree weren't in the cell anymore.
'How many cells are there here?' Chase thought beginning to rise to his feet.
"Arh your awoke then, Chase." The man smiled evilly, hissing the word Chase.
Uncomfortable by the pressance of this cruel man Chase stood motionless.
"Very well then. Now Chase there are two options right here. You either follow me nicely or those men over carry you so your choice." He chuckled looking towards to well-built men.
Chase sighed, "I have legs."
"Very good."
Once Chase was out of his cell he calculated his escape route then attempted escape but he saw a glint in this cruel man's eyes before he lost control and collapsed to the floor.
"And I thought you, Chase Davenport, were smarter than to try something like that. Look at your scrawny wrist. That little metal band there controls you now. We are in control of you. So if you want to try any more pranks I would recommend taking more care in thinking first okay?"
Whilst Chase was unable to move one man carried him like a puppy to the room he was wanted in.
The room was at least the size of a football stadium but set up like a school gym. Shiny yellow floor stretched as far as Chase could see.
"Now Chase you'll learn what it's like to not be in control. Oh don't worry you'll see and rember everything, I promise."
Once his final word rolled off his tounge Chase felt something else make him stand up. He tried to turn his head around but it was impossible. Next his uncontrollable body broke into a run from one end to the other. Chase desperately tried to resist before anything more risky was shown off however nothing was working.
"Let's see that shield Chase." Boomed the man's voice.
Inside he was yelling no but nothing came out. His bionic secrets were about to be exploited. Chase's shield burst out protecting him for a second allowing him to think. The signals couldn't reach him in the protection of his shield.
"Lower the shield you!" Shouting was coming from the man.
A spark of hope inside Chase was ignited. More man flocked in to try and contain Chase.
'First I have to get this off,' Chase thought to himself.
Whilst under his shields protection Chase used his molecular kinesis to snap the band around his wrist. A ringing sound burst off it as it slapped the ground. Instantly his shield dropped but Chase was prepared. He created a force field to use as a bowling ball to clear a path for his escape. Simply his molecular kinesis opened the door long enough for him to make his escape.
Alarms sounded and more muscular men started appearing but Chase always found another away. The only problem was he could not escape with his siblings, at least not today.
After Chase had gotten far enough away from the building he made shelter in a bush and collapsed. He would go back and save his family but he couldn't possibly today.
