Hullo guys, sorry for being so late to update but I had the case of lazyitus so I'm back, but as of today, I may not be able to update as often because school started up again and baseball might keep me from writing as well as being lazy and wanting to relax. I wanted to let you know that I have no idea what goes on inside a boot camp so I'm making things up. The rest of the chapters will be double spaced to extend and make it easier on your eyes to read. Enjoy this chapter though!

I walked to the mess hall with Survivor. He looked a little more relaxed than when I first met him, maybe it was because of last night, or maybe it is because he is with someone he is familiar with. I don't know but I could sense a little less tension than when we first met. I looked at him and saw he had 2 daggers, both hanging over his cutie mark. I was confused why he would carry blades instead of firearms.

"Hey why do you have those knives with you all the time?"

His face tensed up a bit and his smirk disappeared. I knew it was the wrong question to ask so I kept walking with him.

Once we had our food and finally sat down at a table, we started a conversation.

"So Survivor, where are you from?"

"I'm from Appleloosa, what about you?"

"I'm from Ponyville."

"You must be familiar with the ponies who saved Equestria then."

"Yes I do know them, they are my friends and me."

Survivor's eyes were wide, the unknown food about to fall out of his gaping mouth.

"You wielded the elements of harmony?"

"Yup, element of loyalty."

Survivor was speechless and I giggled, "Close your mouth before a parasprite flies in your mouth."

Survivor closed his mouth, and swallowed what food he had in his mouth. I finished as well, eating the last bite as I heard another horn blowing from the center of camp. I looked at Survivor who was still wide-eyed. I rolled my eyes and told him to walk with me. He nodded In agreement and started following me, trying to catch up to my side. We walked together, but Survivor seemed to be a little closer to me than before, like he was comfortable being with me. We neared a field where the General was standing, waiting for us. We arrived to see ponies already there, and more following behind us. We got into formation and stood at attention. Once everypony was there the General spoke up.

"We have been informed that we are indeed going to war with Manehattan,so you will be trained to fight as quick as possible."

The commanding officer walked up behind the General and nodded to him.

"Ok now everypony, RUN TO PONYVILLE AND BACK!"

We all started on our run, I decided to keep my pace with Survivor, who wasn't too slow. As we ran I noticed how he looked with his blades over his cutie mark, how his mane flowed back in the wind, and how he looked like a black blur with his pure black coat. As I looked at him, I quickly looked away, feeling my cheeks heat up, not noticing the tree stump at my hooves. I felt the stump knock my front hooves back and caused me to fall, tripping another pony as I grabbed the pony tightly as we rolled at a high speed before slowing down and stopping. I opened my eyes and saw I was face to face with a dark pony, pure black. I then noticed where my muzzle was. I looked down and saw my muzzle booping Survivor's. I quickly stood up, I was sure my face was as red as the red highlight in my mane.

"Sorry, I wasn't paying attention."

His face was as red as mine and he had his fore legs crossed trying to cover something I wouldn't question.

"Its ok, lets catch up to the rest of the ponies."

I nodded and galloped in the direction the other ponies went.

Tonight was gonna be awkward.
