Elliot ran down the hallway. He'd gotten the call that Olivia had went into labor from a neighbor. He didn't want to miss his child's birth, but with Fin and him getting held up by a perp he just hoped he wasn't too late. He ran to the room they told him Olivia would be in only to find it empty. He started to panic.

"Excuse me, Olivia Stabler? Where is she?" He asked the nearest nurse he could find.

The nurse looked at the chart and then turned to Elliot.

"She's been taken for an emergency C-Section. The baby showed signs of distress. Follow me and I'll take you to her."

Elliot's heart dropped. After a healthy pregnancy, he feared that they would lose her right at the end. The nurse helped him to scrub up quickly and guided him into the operating room where Olivia and his soon-to-be born child were being held. He moved a chair close to the table where Olivia's head was and kissed her forehead.

"El, I'm scared. What if something is wrong?"

"She'll be fine, Liv. Don't think like that, okay?"

Olivia felt the tears fall down her cheeks.

"Where were you?"

"Fin and I were held up. That's all I'm going to tell you right now."

"Are you okay? Is Fin?"

"We're both fine, but focus on the baby right now, honey, and I'll explain everything later okay?"

"Okay. I'm glad that you made it."

"Me too. I didn't want to miss her big entrance into the world."

Olivia smiled and soon they heard a cry echo through the room. Olivia had tears fall down her face.

"Is she okay, El?"

Elliot got up and looked over and saw his new baby girl. She was crying as the doctors and nurses checked her out and weighed her.

"She's beautiful."

"She's okay?"

"She's just fine."

A nurse carried the baby girl over and handed her to Elliot. Elliot took her gently into his arms.

"She is just fine. She's 6 pounds and 7 ounces, 19 inches long with a full head of hair."

Elliot looked at the little life in his arms and he was in love all over again. He leaned her up to show Olivia.

"Look what we made, Liv. That's our baby girl!"

"She's perfect, El! Just perfect!"

Olivia kissed the baby girl's forehead. Elliot snapped pictures and sent them to the guys, knowing they would want to see her.

"Welcome to the world, Sophia Grace."

Elliot kissed his baby girl on the forehead. Sophia opened her eyes and looked up at him. She then gave him a smile that melted his heart and he knew that he would do anything for this little girl. Just then the doctors seemed in a rush and things began to pick up. The nurse came over to take Sophia to the nursery.

"What's going on?"

"I don't know, but I need to take her and you need to wait outside."

"Not until someone tells me what's going on!"

"Sir, please, just wait outside and someone will come talk to you soon."

"No, tell me what's happening!"

"Please, sir, let them do their jobs."

He looked to Olivia who was going pale. He handed the nurse Sophia and put his hands on either side of Olivia's face.

"Liv? Liv, talk to me! Liv!"

"Sir, please go outside!"

"No, this is my wife, damn it! Tell me what's happening!"

"Get this man out of here!"

Two security guards came in and took Elliot out of the room while he was still yelling and fighting. Two more came in and helped to restrain him even more. Once in the hallway, they pinned him against the wall.

"Sir, I need you to calm down."

"Please, just tell me what's happening to my wife."

"I don't know, sir, but let the doctors do their job."

"Where's my daughter?"

"Come on, I'll take you to the nursery."

The others let him go while the one guard led him to the nursery where Sophia was.

About thirty minutes later, Fin, Cragen, and Munch had made it to the hospital. They went to the room where Olivia was supposed to be only to find Elliot standing there with Sophia in his arms.

"Elliot? Where's Liv?" Cragen asked.

"They said she was having complications. She's still in there and no one will tell me what's happening just that they're doing everything they can."

"I'll find out something," Cragen said. He left the room and dialed a familiar number.

"Elliot, Liv's going to be fine. She's a fighter, you know that," Munch said.

"Yeah, I know."

"Who is this little heartbreaker?" Fin asked. Elliot smiled and turned Sophia to her uncles.

"This is Sophia Grace Stabler."

"She is beautiful, El," Munch said. Elliot nodded too choked up to speak. He looked over to the guys.

"Want to hold her?"

"I'm not good with babies," Munch said.

"I do," Fin said.

Elliot walked over to Fin. Fin took little Sophia into his arms and looked at her. She had Olivia's toned skin and when the girl opened her eyes he noticed that she had Elliot's blue eyes. The hard cop outside melted into a puddle of uncle pride.

"Hey, sweet pea. I'm your Uncle Fin. You gonna look just like your Momma and I bet you're going to be as stubborn as your Daddy, but don't worry. We'll always keep an eye out for you. Oh, and you ain't allowed to date at all," Fin said.

Fin moved his finger into Sophia's opened palm and she grasped his finger tightly. He smiled as she studied him like she understood everything that the man had just said. Elliot took a couple of pictures and Munch made his way over to check out his new niece.

"Man, you're going to have your hands full," Munch said.

"I know, but like Fin said, she's not going to date."

They all laughed. Cragen came in with Alex and Casey following behind him.

"Elliot, the doctors need to speak with you," Alex said.

"Are they going to actually tell me something this time or is it going to be the same thing they told me about an hour ago?"

"They should tell you everything you want to know, if they want to keep their jobs," Casey replied.

Elliot looked at Alex.

"Thank you."

"Anytime. Now, go, find out what's happening. We'll stay with the baby," Alex said.

"Her name is Sophia, Sophia Grace Stabler."

"She's gorgeous," Casey said leaning over Fin's arm to get a look.

"Thanks."

Elliot left the room knowing that his daughter was the safest child in the world right now. He walked to the doctors who were standing at the end of the hall.

"What's going on with my wife? Is she alright?"

"She's fine and so is your other daughter," said the doctor.

"Wait, other daughter? I have another daughter? How did that happen?"

"Well, apparently, the other girl was hiding each time there was an ultrasound and the machines never picked up another heartbeat. She's a little on the small side and she's having a little trouble breathing. Your wife was bleeding a lot, but we were able to stop it," said the other doctor.

"Where is she? Can I see her? Our other daughter too?"

"Your wife is in recovery and will be moved to her room shortly, but your other daughter is in the NICU right now to stabilize her breathing, but you can see her as soon as she is more stable," said the first doctor.

"Thank you so much."

Elliot walked back to Olivia's room in a daze. He got to the door as everyone faced him. Alex was holding Sophia.

"She's fine and so is our other daughter."

Everyone looked at him with shock on their faces.
