Five colorful streaks of light descended to the ground just outside and around the left side of the Adder's cave, materializing into the teens. The group crept behind a perch, trying to see if they could sneak up on the monster. What they saw next wasn't a pleasant sight.

The Adder walked in from the outskirts of the forest, carrying two limp bodies on his shoulders; one was a man and the other was a little boy, both pale and shuddering. As he walked, venom and blood dripped from the Adder's fangs.

"More tributes for Empress Rita," he hissed. "Once you wake up, you will become our slaves or meet your end!"

"Stop right there!"

The creature turned to see Ash and his friends run to cut him off at the mouth of the cave.

"Drop those people right now!" Brock yelled.

"You want a fight? Take us on instead!" shouted Misty.

The Adder chuckled with demonic glee. "The Empress warned me that some children would try to stop our cause. I didn't think they would look so weak. I can't busy myself with you, but my friends would certainly love to meet you!"

Suddenly, a strange garbling filled the air. Before the group could react, five Putty Patrollers leapt from the top of the cave and cornered them off to the side.

"What are these things?" Tracey asked, trying to find a way to catch the monster as he made his way into the cave.

"Who cares?" Ash answered. "The Adder needs to be stopped!" He threw a punch at one of the Putties, but it caught his arm and tossed him to the ground.

Lia and Brock were able to push two of the foot soldiers away together while Tracey and Misty squared off with the other two. As Ash got up, he fell right down again as one of the Putties stopped a backhanded slap from Misty, twisted her arm, and threw her into him. Brock managed to pick one of the goons up, and was met with a kick to the back before he could slam the creep down.

One of the Putties swung at Tracey, who ducked down and tried to launch a kick toward its belly. The alien caught the boy's leg as one of his cohorts grabbed the other and tossed him into Lia, who had her arms pinned behind her by a Putty after she kicked him.

Ash snarled and got up to charge the foes, throwing every martial arts move he had ever seen at them, but to no avail. A Putty threw a straight right punch to his face, flooring the boy again.

The teens were down, trying to regroup as the Putty Patrollers surrounded them. At that moment, the Adder came out of the cave, bearing his fangs.

"I can't believe how strong they are…" Brock said, holding his back.

"There has to be a way to beat them!" Lia shouted as she rubbed her shoulder. "But how…"

With some time to think, Ash reached into his pocket and felt his coin and Power Morpher. "Wait, we have the Power Coins! Let's use them!"

The team got up and drew their Morphers and coins. They put in the coins and raised their devices to the sky. As the Putties lunged to attack, they were knocked back by a powerful aura of energy as Brock, Lia, Tracey, Misty, and Ash called on the power of the dinosaurs.

"Mastodon!"

"Pterodactyl!"

"Triceratops!"

"Saber-Tooth Tiger!"

"Tyrannosaurus!"

The five young people now stood in front of the Putty Patrol feeling a powerful sensation they had never felt before. Instead of their regular clothes, Lia, Tracey, Ash, Misty, and Brock now wore uniforms and helmets in radiant pink, blue, red, yellow, and black with white gloves and boots. Their bodies were adorned with a white diamond pattern and their boots and gloves had the same pattern in their respective colors. Their helmets each featured visors and a design of their respective dinosaurs as well. They were their Morphers on the center of their white belts. The kids were no longer normal humans anymore; they were the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

"Power Rangers!" they yelled in unison, assuming their battle stances. The frightened Putties backed off and disappeared in a flash of gray light. The Adder fled as well,

At the Moon Palace, Rita kept her eye on what was going on down on Earth.

"So, these nasty little children think they can stop us? That fool Zordon has no idea what's coming!" she said in a raspy voice. "Goldar, meet the rest of our party in the city center and tear everything apart!"

"Zordon, they've made the metamorphosis! The Power Rangers are ready!" Alpha cried back at the Command Center.

"Excellent, Alpha," Zordon said. "Teleport the Rangers to downtown Feron Grove. Goldar, the Adder, and the Putty Patrol are moving in."

"Right away!" Alpha pressed the teleport button on the main console.

As soon as Alpha sent the command, a message appeared in each Ranger's HUD display inside their helmets called "PREPARE FOR TELEPORT: DOWNTOWN FERON GROVE."

"I've got a lock on their coordinates!" Tracey said.

"Me too! Let's go get them!" added Lia.

"Alright Rangers, let's power up!" Ash yelled. And with that, the Power Rangers teleported to a new battlefield.
