A lone monk stood outside the famed Fire Temple in the Land of Fire. He was currently sweeping, one of the chores that all monks must do at the temple. His name was Chiriku. The head monk.
He is a bald man with dark eyes, and very thick eyebrows. He wore the standard attire of the ninja monk along with the sash worn by members of the Twelve Guardian Ninja group and he is barefoot.
Despite once being a member of the Twelve Guardian Ninja to the Fire Lord, he is a very peaceful man, but if you threaten his home or friends, he will strike you down without mercy.
So when he looked up after feeling some chakra nearby, he was surprised to see a group of ninja coming his way. That would make anyone on edge, but he knew one of them to be Jiriaya of the Sannin and despite looking to be injured, he was still a force to be reckoned with. Still, Jiriaya was from Konoha and on good terms with him.
However, he knew it was only a matter of time before some Konoha ninja took refuge here due to Konoha being destroyed and all. After all, the final move to destroy the village hidden in the leave could be seen for miles!
"Jiriaya-sama, I had been expecting you…." Chiriku stated before looking over the ninja accompanying the legendary man. If he was correct, they were mostly all Uzuamki. A surprise for him no doubt seeing as most were dead. "I was expecting more people from Konoha to be honest."
"Yeah…." Jiriaya stated sheepishly. "A good number of us surprisingly went to Iwa where Naruto Uzumaki now resides. They wanted to be with a friend and Iwa accepted us."
"I see, that does explain the new headbands." Chiriku stated. "Now, what can I do for you now that I know you are not here for Asylum?"
Jiriaya nodded and brought up two people in front of him. "These two started this mission. The first is Naruto Uzumaki and the little girl is Erza Uzumaki. I'll let them explain."
"Ah, the Grim Reaper of Iwa, I do know about you. I assume the little one is a cousin?"
"Correct." Naruto stated with a smile. "The reason we are here is because of someone named Sora. I know he is sort of like me in the Jinchuriki department, but his not a full one due the Tailed Beast not actually being in him. Just a portion of its power. My cousin, in an attempt to understand my burden a bit more, wanted some of it power to help ease the burden a bit. But Tsunade and others are afraid of adverse effects from a direct implant from Kurama himself. So…Jiriaya suggested we take the power out of Sora so he could live a normal life."
The monk nodded but he stood still, not leaving his spot. "Noble cause and Tsuande and the other would be correct. Still, to transfer the extra demonic chakra from one person to another is dangerous. I hope you what you are doing."
"We do." Jiriaya answered for Naruto.
"Are we going to do this shit or not?" Tayuya eloquently stated.
"Troublesome. Sorry about her, she is just impatient….something I would assume most Uzumaki are known for." Shikamaru replied tiredly.
"SHUT UP!" Tayuya raged.
Chiriku frowned at the girl but didn't reply to her. Instead he focused back on Naruto. "I am sorry to tell you this, but Sora is no longer with us."
"What do you mean, is he dead?" Naruto asked.
"Oh no! Not that, sorry if I made it seem like that." Chiriku stated with embarrassment. "I meant that a man named Furido took him away the other day, stating the boy's father wanted him back. I…just hope nothing back happens. After all that Kazuma did, I hope him taking the boy is a good thing."
"Why, what did his father do?" Shikamaru asked.
"Tired to lead a coup da tat to kill the Hokage, believing that did not need to be two kings. Thankfully and Asuma were one of the few that stopped him." Chiriku stated, surprising Shikamaru a bit. "I truly hope that man doesn't use Sora for dark means…especially now that Konoha is gone."
"I see. Well thank you." Jiriaya stated as he led them away from the Fire Temple.
"So now what?" Renji asked in a bored tone.
"We fine them, I do not trust that man." Jiriaya said as they made their way to a city were the man could consult his spy network on where the man could be.

Furido, a man that looked like a white haired monk. He wore a purple garment that had other colors on the lining. He also possessed a chain extending staff and a scar on his face.
He was tired and so was his son, so they stopped in a clearing just outside the town they had passed through, not wanting to pay for room and bored. He smiled at his son and said, "I am glad those monks took care of you, especially that Chiriku character after what you father did.
"Speaking of said man, where is he? You told me that you would take me to him today and I don't see him. Also, what did he do?"
"Simple, he had a group of ninja from the Twelve Guardian Ninja tried to go and kill the Hokage. The way he saw it, the country did not need two kings. However, he and paid the price for it in exile while the other members were killed." The man stated before a large smirk appeared on his face. "Now as to where your father is…you are looking at him."
"What?!" Sora shouted before a smile crept on his face. "Good, I am glad you came for me. The monks hated me anyway due to my power."
"I see." Furido replied with fake sadness. "I am sorry for give that to you, but I need your power. I need your help. We cannot do this mission alone."
"And what is that?" Sora asked.
"We are going to kill the other Kage and then take over what is left of the Land of Fire when we return. A friend of mine asked me to do so with the other Kages so he can spread his influence. The Land of Fire will be ours to do as we wish."
"I see….i accept." Sora replied. "Who do we hit first?"
"Since Onoki is close to death anyway, I feel we should give him that needed push. That will also deal an emotional blow to the Grim Reaper as well."
"Very well." Sora replied.
"Good." Furido replied with a smile before four people appeared behind him, making Sora tense. Furido just smiled and said, "Welcome back."
A large man smirked and asked, "So, is the kid on board?"
"Yes, Fudo, he is. Fuka, Fuen, are you two ready?"
"Yes." They both replied with dark smirks.
"Good." Furido replied before turning to the final person. "Kagura, will you inform him that the mission is underway?"
"I shall." The woman replied before speeding off.
"Excellent, now….let's go rob some graves." Furido replied as his new team also sped off. His original plans may have been destroyed thanks to who it was that led the Akatsuki and destroyed Konoha, but this one was far great and he had just one man to thank for it.

Kakashi sighed as he looked down at Sakura through a two way medical window. He had one student left. Sasuke died and Naruto is the leader of the Core in Iwa, which he now resided in thank to Konoha being destroyed.
So naturally the man was on edge that he would lose another student. The cause? A potential death by surgery. Thankfully it was Tsunade doing the operation, but he was still worried.
So he watched her like a hawk as she put the artificial eye in Sakura first. It was green like the girl's original eye color. That was good because Sakura needed something normal in her life, even if it was fake.
Then came the Sharingan eye. Sasuke's Sharingan to be exact. The girl wanted something to remember him by and what better way than to use the eye of the same person. Kakashi did it with Obito, so it was no problem for Sakura to do.
Tsunade carefully placed the eye in the other socket and using fine honed medical ninja, fully connected the eye to Sakura, unlike what Rin had done for Kakashi. But by the time they had gotten to Tsunade to see if it was correct, the damage had already been done and Tsunade could do no more.
Now that Tsunade was here, she was do the job correctly. However, they didn't know the after affects were. So when they start up rather quickly just after she implanted the eye, Tsunade quickly left the room to observe with Kakashi.
"Damn, I didn't think this would happen so soon." Tsunade growled.
"What will happen to her?"
"That is the mystery." Tsunade explained. "She could experience fierce pain all over her body as it rejects the new eyes and that could leave her blind all her life and if that is the case, she would either have to give up being a ninja all together or she would have to find a way to be a ninja while being blind, and I have heard it is possible."
"What else could happen?" Kakashi asked sadly.
"Her body, while being in immense pain, could adapt to the eyes and change the eyes to suit it and then there is a theory that they could also experience some mental trauma, but I am unsure, that is why I didn't tell her about it." Tsunade explain, making Kakashi tremble in fear as tears streamed out of his one normal eye.
So all they could do was watch.
They watched as Sakura's body trembled like the earth in an earthquake.
They watched as the veins popped around her eyes like they do for when a Hyuuga activates the Byakugan.
And they watched as Sakura's eyes snap open and let out a terrifying scream in the form of a Banshee that she is normally associated with.
Kakashi cried harder as she screamed, never really noticing the glass he was in front of start to crack. All he could think about was her pain. He prayed to whatever deity that was listening that she would live through this.
Back in the room, as the pinked girl was screaming her head off, her mind was going a mile a minutes with what Tsunade predicted as mental trauma. But….it wasn't her mental trauma that she was dealing with, it was Sasuke.
A little known fact was that Sasuke had actually activated his sharigan that night his family was slaughtered. Sakura's mind absorbed all his memories, from that nigh onwards. She saw all the blood and dead bodies. She saw Sasuke cry out for his parents and older brother, only to see them cut down by the man he respected above all others. Then, she saw how Sasuke was subjected to the Tsukiyomi and had to watch over and over again how his brother did.
Over and over.
She watched how he recovered from all of that insanity and was he was unstable himself. She watched how he struggled through the rest of his life through the academy, how all the girls there was just so infuriatingly annoying that he wanted to lash out at them, but he stuck to imagining how he would one day murder his elder brother for what he did.
She remember how he thought on how to gain their family's ultimate eye technique and contemplate who he would befriend and then kill for it and then brush it off as she gained a team with Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi, feeling that not even she would do that. She would not sink to his level.
She felt herself becoming Sasuke, his thoughts were becoming hers. She was becoming Sasuke and that Sakura was disappearing into the darkness of Sasuke's mind, all through a simple, as that was what it seemed at first, eye transplant.
So naturally she fought. She fought with all her might to stay herself and not to become Sasuke for he was beyond damaged. She knew that now. How could she and all the other girls be so blind? The boy lost his family!
Then she figured it out as she observed their time with team seven. They couldn't know because Sasuke kept to himself, and they all thought that was hot for some reason. They all wanted him because he was an Uchiha, the last of them in Konoha. That's all they wanted. Power and Money. They didn't know it, but Sasuke knew that and that is why he hated them. They pitying him and were also gold diggers.
Sakura felt horrible. How could she have been like that?
She then saw more time with Team 7. She saw how Sasuke was beginning to see the light in the form of a new family. Sasuke saw her as a sister he never really had. So as the days went by and ending after the Chunin Exams, he had felt protective of her and there was some romantic feelings, but he never went through with them out of his own fear.
Then there was Naruto, another brother figure who was just outright stupid! Sasuke had begun to feel protective of him too and the thought and once again crossed his mind to kill Naruto to the Ultimate eye technique, but he had squashed it down. But then Naruto revealed his own past and left, making Sasuke feel alone again for a short time.
Finally, there was Kakashi. He had at frist saw the man as nothing but uselessness and laziness. But after Naruto left, he began to see Kakashi as a father figure. Someone who was more of a father to him that his own father was. It was strange and nice at the same time.
At this point, Sakura was crying. Crying in her own mindscape. She cried for Naruto once and now she was crying for Sasuke. Both of their lives had been horrible while hers had been that of a normal girl's. To her it was just sad.
Then she felt a tap on her shoulder to she was mind twin, her other self. Sakura had never really thought about it, but now she wondered why she had a duel personality locked up in her mind. Her mom did say she was supposed to have twins, but only Sakura came out. Was her mind twin her actual twin?
She didn't have much time to dwell on it because the mind twin began to glow for a second before it shifted into something different and she gasped. "SASUKE!"
The Uchiha looked at her sheepishly, not able to keep up his usual façade around her now that she knew everything about him now. "Hey Sakura. I am not there anymore."
Sakura blinked and then said, "Wait, are you just a chakra memory or part of Sasuke that was left behind?"
Sasuke just shrugged. "Don't really know. All I know is that while I was dying in Itachi's arms, he did this so quick with his chakra that I could stay in the eye until now." Sasuke sighed. "Sakura, thank you…for everything. I am know I am not here anymore, but you need to move on and live your life. Live it for both of us, I know this is the end and Itachi put the last of my chakra in this eye so when you implanted the eye correctly, you would get a boost in chakra."
"But Sasuke…I miss you!"
"I know, but you can't undo death." Sasuke said with a grimace. After this, he would be dead.
Sakura sighed sadly. "Can you do me a favor then?"
"Sure, what's that?" Sasuke said with a shrug.
"Just kiss me." Sakura said tearfully. Sasuke went wide eyed and blushed a bit, but nodded nonetheless. He closed the distance between them and kissed her right on the lips. Not a bad last memory.
That was when they both stared to glow and in the real world, the screaming stopped as the girl closed her eyes before they snapped open once more and the Sharingan disappeared to that of a normal green eye, but both eyes were far darker than they had been in her life. While that went on, her hair changed a bit too. It still stayed pink on her head, but as it went outward, it darkened gradually until it was all black at the ends.
With that, she woke up for a bit and saw a vision of Sasuke floating above her and smiling at her before the vision turned into three things. One of was a red moon that made Sakura think, Illusion Style. The second one was a black flame, Blaze Style. And the final one was an over charged lightning bolt, Plasma Style.
The vision shifted back to a smiling Sasuke, who nodded, and then faded away. Sakura smiled sadly as her vision faded and drifted back asleep with the sad smile on her face and tears running out of her new eyes. "Thank you…Sasuke." She whispered before succumbing to the darkness of sleep once more.
Behind the window, Tsunade and and Kakashi were both gobsmacked. They may not have seen what went on her mind, only seeing her convulse and scream her head off, but they did see the Illusion Sasuke for a brief moment and the strange symbols.
Kakashi smiled sadly, thinking that Sasuke had put some of his self in the eye to say goodbye to Sakura, but both him and Tsunade were confused on the symbols that Sakura seemed to know.
Oh well, they would figure it out later. The girl needed rest now.
Tsunade turned off the lights and they both left the room.

And that's all folks. Short yes, but at least I was able to get a chapter out. And yes, just a series of short arcs until the Tournament Arc, but hey, I like it this way.
The Grim Reaper has his bony hand full now doesn't he? Now, should Sora survive or go down with his father? Let me know please. Also, tell me what you think of Sakura's ordeal. For those of you who didn't get it. I upped her chakra with Sasuke's, that's why she was in so much pain and don't flame me about it. I gave her just a slight chakra boost since a lot of you were complaining about how she would die if she got both Sharingans. So she is chunin level in chakra now. Kakashi will train her ragged to get more chakra.
Now as for the three new styles she gets, they are Illsuion, Blaze, and Plasma. Illusion is a watered down version of the Tsukiyomi…so unbreakable. Blaze, same with Amateresu. Plasma Style is basically a super charged version of all of Sasuke's lightning jutsu. Deal with it. Also, Sakura doesn't actually have the sharingan. It fused with her body so she could have those powers. That's why her eyes are darker. So in addition to her new jutsu, her perception in battle is heightened to a level of a sharingan user...meh.
I can't wait for Erza to get her eye…it should be fun!
