(A/N: Thank you for following my series of oneshots, and my dearest apologies for the late update!)
Christmas was drawing near and Cat was bubbling with excitement. So much, in fact; that she couldn't refrain from jumping up and down with anticipation, as Sam stood in front of the microwave popping popcorn.
"Calm down, kid," responded Sam, watching her popcorn heat up but watching Cat's movement out of the corner of her eye.
"Can't help it!" Said Cat with a giggle.
"Well do help it then!" Grunted Sam, irritated, as the popcorn popped its last pop and she opened up the microwave, pouring the light snack in a bowl for the two of them.
Cat winced at the tone, and Sam instantly muttered an apology.
"S'kay, babe." Smiled Cat, hugging her girlfriend from behind, much to Sam's surprise.
The two then settled down, to enjoy a marathon of Christmas movies, Sam falling asleep slowly in Cat's arms.
