Hey there, my name is Matt Ishida, and my friends and I are part of a group called the Digidestined. The Digidestined are children from all over the world who are chosen to help save the Digital World, and each one of us has our own Digimon partner. Originally there were just eight of us at the beginning, but when we first went to the Digital World, one of us was missing. But we managed to find them later on and use the power of our Digivices and crests to destroy the ultimate evil. When we saved the Digital World, a new threat decided to emerge three years later, and a whole new group of Digidestined had to help out, however two members from the original group became part of the new one.

Even though the original Digidestined, and the new members, aren't the only ones who can help save the Digital World, we seemed to be called upon a lot. The original group of Digidestined consisted of Tai Kamiya, his little sister Kari Kamiya, me, my little brother T.K Takaishi, Sora Takenouchi, Izzy Izumi, Mimi, Taichikawa, and Joe Kido. The new Digidestined that came along later was Davis Motomiya, Yolei Inoue, Cody Hida, and Ken Ichijouji, but for awhile, Ken was our enemy before he became our friend. The original eight had a crest that was created for them when we all first saw a Digimon at Highton View Terrace, and Ken had a crest specially created for him about a year after our first adventure in the Digital World. Tai had the crest of Courage and Kari had the crest of Light, I had the crest of Friendship and T.K had the crest of Hope. Izzy and Joe had the crests of Knowledge and Reliability, Mimi and Sora had the crests of Sincerity and Love. And Ken ended up with the crest of Kindness, which was kind of ironic, considering for a while, Ken had been anything but kind, but hey, he's like me. I didn't think the crest of Friendship fit me at all, since I kept pushing the people who were my friends away from me.

Our Digimon partners, they were probably the best thing that happened to the lot of us. Tai and Kari had Agumon and Gatomon, T.K and I had Patamon and Gabumon. Sora and Mimi's partners were Biomon and Palmon, while Izzy and Joe's partners were Tentomon and Gomamon. The new group had a peculiar group of Digimon, but they fit them perfectly. Davis' partner was Veemon, who happened to be just as energetic as himself, Yolei's partner was Hawkmon. Cody's digi pal was Armadillomon, and Ken's partner was Wormmon. Even though our futures were very different, the twelve of us stayed the best of friends, and just like our times in the Digital World, we still hung out like we used to. And the best part, now that the entire world knew about Digimon, their partners could walk around with them and didn't have to wear a disguise. The twelve of us were happy to be able to see each other again... but the lack of fighting made the whole thing seem boring...

"Grr, I'm tired of sitting around," Davis exclaimed landing backwards on his back. "I almost wish that Arukenimon and Mummymon would come back, at least we would have something to do besides sitting around doing nothing." we all nodded our heads in agreement.

"I have to agree with Davis, I mean ever since we defeated Malomiotismon, there has been absolutely NO fun or entertainment." Yolei whined in defeat.

"Well sitting around doing nothing is NOT going to get us any entertainment, that's for sure." Tai said standing up and straightening his back.

Suddenly, a flash of light appeared and blinded us for a while, once we could see again, we saw two men. The first one was taller than Geni, but shorter than me, the second one had sand colored cloth covering his body, which made him look Egyptian. The Egyptian man held out a strange golden object and it began to glow, soon a black hole appeared out in front of us and dumped off a bunch of kids, and some of them had what I almost didn't believe it but they had Digimon! I looked at the two men in confusion, but their faces showed nothing but seriousness. It was then I noticed that they were starting to become transparent, the two men floated a few feet off the ground and everyone grew silent.

You have been brought together because of an evil

that even all of you Digidestined fighting all at once

wouldn't be able to take it down.

"So why did you bring all of us together to fight something we can't even beat!" teen wearing a bandana asked.

We only tried to bring Takato and Takuya with us, but all of you ended up

along with them, it was our mistake.

The kids looked around, when they all got a good view about where they were, they all stood up rather quickly and some ran to others, and ended up forming two groups. A girl with orange hair walked forward and looked in our direction.

"What is going on here, where are we and who are you?" she said that last part while looking at the other group of kids.

"Um Reka, maybe you shouldn't act like they're enemies. They have Digimon too, you know." a boy with goggles said putting a hand on her shoulder.

"Hump!" the girl, Reka, said as she crossed her arms. A yellow fox-like Digimon stood behind her.

"Please forgive Reka," a boy with dark blue hair apologized while bowing in a generous manner. "She is not really friendly when it comes to meeting other people, even if they are other Digidestineds." my eyes widened when a Terriermon pulled himself up onto the boy's shoulder.

"Oh forget it Henry, she's not going to listen to anything that you have to say, that's how she is, in fact she's never nice to anybody that she meets for the first time." Joe stepped forward and adjusted his glassed.

"Um, hello?" he tried. "My name is Joe Kido, and this is my Digimon partner Gomamon. And these are my friends." he gestured to the rest of us behind him.

"Hi my name's Mimi and this is my friend Palmon!" I chuckled as Mimi shook the boy's hand.

"My name is Henry Wong, and this is Terriermon, my Digimon and my best friend." his Digimon waved at us and giggled.

Suddenly he jumped into the air and landed in my arms. I didn't know what to do so I just stood there, like I was holding a bomb that was ready to explode or something. Henry sweat dropped and hung his head, and Terriermon just hopped onto my head and sat there much like Patamon does on T.K's head.

"Terriermon..." Henry mumbled.

"Momentai, Henry!" his Digimon partner said with a smile.

"I think he likes you." T.K laughed.

"Haha, very funny, T.K." I growled while giving my brother a glare.

The boy who had tried to calm down the girl Henry had apologized for walked forward. "My name's Takato Matsuki, and this is my Digimon, Guilmon. It's nice to meet you." the two of them did a bow like Henry, Guilmon trying to at least...

"I'm Reka Nonaka and this is Rennemon." the girl with orange hair said with an attitude as she looked at us with a straight face.

The goggle boy from the second group stepped forward. "Hi, my name is Takuya Kanbara, and I'm kind of like the leader of my group of Digidestined... sorta..." he looked back at his friends, who just nodded.

"Wait." Tai interrupted. "If you're Digidestined, then where are your Digimon?" he asked.

"Well, that's the thing... we don't have Digimon." Takuya laughed embarrassingly.

"What does that mean?" Cody asked.

"Well you see," he began. "My friends and I have these spirits which are called the Ten Legendary Warriors, and when we execute the power, we're able to transform into Digimon. I have the Spirit of Flame." the rest of us stared at him.

The boy with the bandanna and a boy who looked just like him stepped next to Takuya. "My name is Koji Minamoto, and this my brother Koichi Kimura." he introduced. "I have the Spirit of Light."

"And I have the Spirit of Darkness." Koichi explained.

I unconsciously gave the two of them a smile, which they shockingly returned. My eyes widened at the fact that they already showed evidence that they trusted us... Well, one of us.

A blond girl in a purple outfit smiled and stood next to her friends. "My name is Zoe Orimoto, and I am the proud owner of the Spirit of Wind." she and Sora shook hands and I could already tell that the two of them would become good friends.

An overweight boy in a blue outfit stepped up. "J.P Shibayama is my name and the Spirit of Thunder is my game." he grinned as he pulled out a bar of chocolate.

The last one was short like Cody and wore a big orange hat. "And I'm Tommy Himi, Spirit of Ice." he gave off a big smile, which got Kari to laugh.

"So how did you all get here?" Izzy asked.

"Probably from that guy." Reka guessed while pointing at Geni. "The three of us were just hanging out in an ice cream parlor when all of a sudden we're pulled into a black hole."

Takuya closed his eyes and crossed his arms. "My friends and I were walking through the Digital World when we all fell into a black hole that appeared below us." he explained.

"Okay, that is a little weird." Ken admitted while picking up Wormmon.

"Eek! What is that disgusting bug!" Zoe cried while hiding behind J.P.

Ken glared at the girl while pulling Wormmon closer to him. "This is my Digimon partner, Wormmon, and he's not a disgusting bug." he said sternly.

"Oops!" Zoe said. "I'm sorry!" she apologized.

"I feel insulted Ken." Ken looked at his partner and sighed.

"So do I Wormmon." Ken grumbled.

"Um, guys?" we all turned to look at T.K who was staring at something behind a tree. "I think you should look at this..."

The three groups of Digidestined walked over to see what T.K was talking about. Turns out, it was a giant black hole. The lot of us gasped and took a step backwards.

Terriermon jumped back onto Henry's shoulder and growled at the hole. "That's the same kind of hole that sucked us up in the first place!"

"I don't know about you guys," Koji asked softly. "But I really don't want to get sucked up again!"

"Run!" Tai, Davis, Takato, and Takuya yelled at once.

"You don't need to tell us twice!" Yolei cried as she, as well as the rest of us, began running away from the giant black hole of darkness.

As we were running from the tree, I felt my body being pulled back towards the direction of the tree, I looked around and saw that my friends were being pulled back as well, suddenly I was yanked back by some strong force and I felt myself being pulled back into the darkness. Just like when I left the others to 'find myself' after I had attacked Tai and Agumon after my little chat with Cherrymon, when we had returned to the Digital World after we had defeated Venomyotismon. I had begun feeling like I wasn't wanted within the group, and that Tai was trying to take away my little brother, so I began saying stuff like how I wasn't really needed and all that crap. I had been alone for most of my life after my family split up, my dad had gotten a new job as a news reporter, so he was home late a lot, and after that I hardly ever got to see T.K again. I guess that was why I felt that I had to protect him, because if I protected him, I would be with him and wouldn't be alone. But that just ended up with me looking like a jerk and completely making T.K afraid of me for a while. I guess that it was these feelings that was attracting the darkness to me.

I tried fighting the darkness, but it was stronger than it was all those years ago. I never really got over how I felt, I just buried my feelings and tried to move past and forget them. I guess you can never hide your feelings from the darkness... I closed my eyes and kept fighting the darkness, but I was starting to think that maybe I had nothing to fight for.

Suddenly, I could hear Sora's voice, it started out as a whisper then began to get louder. I opened my eyes and saw the redhead reaching through the darkness surrounding me. As she got closer, her words were becoming more and more understandable, but even so, my strength was getting weaker. I tried reaching my hand out to her, but I just felt like a child reaching for a toy that was being taken away. Sora's face was of pure determination as she opened her mouth again.

"Matt, don't you dare fall into the darkness again." she ordered. "You wouldn't let me fall into the darkness when we were in the Digital World, so don't think I'm going to let you!" her hand seemed to get closer to my own. "Think about everyone you would leave behind if you let the darkness win!"

I snapped my eyes open, suddenly feeling my strength returning, I swung my arms around me to keep the darkness away. I turned back to Sora and, with much determination, reached my hand out to hers, my hand was only inches away before Sora reached out her own and snagged a hold of my wrist. As she touched me, the darkness disappeared I managed to see the other Digidestined being sucked into the black hole before...

Everything went black.

Me: Sooo? Did you guys like the changes that I made if you managed to notice them?

Sora: You're crazy.

Me: No, you're just normal. Now GET OUT! *pushes her out of the chat room* People who can't be nice aren't allowed inside!

Sora: But-

Me: Get out! *closes door*

Kari: Don't you think that's a little cruel?

Me: Maybe, but she shouldn't have been mean to me...

Yami: Hey, may I come in? *pokes head inside*

Me: Sure! *lets him in* You want something?

Yami: Yeah, I wanted to ask you about that little blue magic aura thing that appeared around you the last time we chatted.

Me: What about it?

Yami: What was that exactly?

Me: *grins* If I told you, you wouldn't believe me! *walks towards the bar*

Tai: Since when was there a bar in here!

Matt: There always has been, you just never noticed...

T.K: Yeah. *hiding behind Matt to protect himself from Devil* You were always busy at the buffet table.

Yami: *sighs* She didn't answer my question!

Matt: If she says that you won't believe her, then you most likely won't...

Yami: Says who?

Matt: Says the guy who has had multiple experiences of watching her say stuff and it all winding up to to be true, whether it was about totally random people, folks she knew, or even about things that were happening somewhere else.

Tai: That's called being psychic, Matt.

Matt: No, sometimes she can even tell what happened when the event has already happened, and she was in the room, but not looking at the scene as it unfolded. She's not psychic, if you were to see her work beside a real psychic, you would tell that she's not one.

What world will we visit next?

Will Yami ever find out about Devil's new secret?
