Chapter 2: Receiving the guests
Hello again, people. It's me, Surretuns, with the second chapter of Kid Icarus: A new beginning;
I have also decided to make two music options for "boss battle" moments, since I'll use some new games's music;
I Have decided to take some time and delay the fight to the next chapter. I'm sorry for this;

Also, this chapter will be more like a filler. I'm sorry for that.

Skyworld, Pit's POV
WHATWHATWHAT? Did I just heard that right? Retuns wants to fight me?
"You're joking, right?"
"No, he isn't. Believe me." Nathan... You're not helping.
"But... right from nowhere?"
"Well, Pit... Remember when you said that you should do some exercises?"
"Lady Palutena... Don't tell me you want this fight to happen?"
"Well... Yeah." Oh my god. I was so confortable after that brutal training with Viridi. No, seriously, fighting Cragalanche, Arlon and Phosphora ALL AT THE SAME TIME IS NOT EASY.
"But what if we delay it to tomorrow?"
"Now Pit, we should be better hosts. And I always wanted to see you fight a Xenomorph. Thinking about it... Wait here a sec." She said as she went to her bedroom. I wonder what she's going to do.
"Come on, Pit. Didn't she said you wanted to do some exercises?"
"But. But I'm not ready."
"Then go ready yourself." As he said that, Lady Palutena entered the room.
"Pit, I would listen to him if I were you, since I already told some people that you'd be battling him."
"They'll come over to see this fight, am I right?"
"Of course. I even forgot that Viridi wasn't even born at the time, so I had to explain everything to her."
"Wait. So, she's coming?" Why am I feeling happy and scared at the same time?
"Pit, get ready for your battle."
"Yes, Lady Palutena, but first. Retuns. Can we test one of Lady Palutena's powers?"
"If it's for a test, then yes. But, she'll not help you in any way other than this test thing." Exactly what I wanted to hear.
"Okay, now wait just a second." I said as I exited the throne room to enter the vast weapon arsenal.
I was received by a pretty messy white room with weapons completely out of order.
Man, I should take some time to organize this place. I think even Pittoo's room is better than this place. Now, better find my weapons.
I chose to start with my Palutena Bow, and give my Samurai Blade, End-All Arm, Earthmaul Club, Fireworks Cannon, Fairy Orbitars, Wolf Claws and Laser Staff to Lady Palutena. Now I just need to choose a Palm. Hmm... maybe the Midnight Palm... no, I don't like how it circles everything but doesn't hit the target. The Aurum Palm is okay, but it's homing skills are horrible.
Maybe THAT one will be the best option since SHE is coming and I don't want to be scolded because I didn't used one of her weapons, I don't even remember if I like this weapon. I thought as I examined the last palm that I had with some stats prepared for a competitive battle. The Viridi Palm.
Yeah, I'll use this one. Hope I don't regret it.
Nathan's POV, Palutena's throne room
As I was about to sit in a chair I noticed that Retuns was thinking about something.
"Hey bro, what's the matter?"
"Oh, it's nothing. Just thinking about these transformation things." I seriously don't like how he talks about this transformation, but I must confess that his transformation, the Xenomorph as that Palutena woman called it, is really cool.
"If I have one, maybe you, or even Luna and Helia, have one." ... How come I've never thought about it?
"Changing subjects. How was your last night with Luna? Did you both tire yourselves at bed?" As I said that, his face became redder and redder to the point it could be considered a hairy tomato.
"Shut up Nathan."
"Seriously, me and Helia tried our hardest to hear something. And you know that Helia doesn't like those things that much."
"How many times do I have to tell that nothing happened?"
"Oh, come on. You were probably doing it silently."
"You seriously want me to lose my temper?" Oops.
"No, no, no. Of course not." I still remember the last time he got really angry. I had to sleep at the living room, and it wasn't good for me.
"But, seriously, Nathan. I have to know if you and the girls can also transform into some kind of creature."
"I hope that we can turn into something as cool as yours."
"You seriously think it's easy to transform? It hurts. A lot. At least the first time you use it." That's what I feared he would say.
"But you could feel the power in your veins, couldn't you?"
"Yes, but I fear that if this power gets in the wrong hands, Palutena's story will happen again."
"But how can you control yourself? Better yet, how can you control that tail?"
"I don't know. When I transform I know exactly what to do and how to do it."
knock, knock, knock.
"Oh, those must be the guests." Palutena said that as she went running to the door and opened it.
From the door a lot of people came in. Those must be other gods. They were sure different from one to another. There was a big blue man with a big white beard, a white man with a similar white beard, a pale woman with white hair... What's this? A reunion of white-haired people? Oh, wait there's a short blond girl. That hair reminds me of Helia. Speaking of Helia, where did she and Luna go?
Helia's POV
Wow there are a lot of people here. I actualy lime to haver people around me but, because of my shyness, I cannot speak fluently unless it's midday. Somehow, I get totally energetic starting at that time until 6pm. Speaking of that, what time is it now?
"Hey... Luna."
"Yes, sis?"
"What time is it now?" She looked at her watch and she gasped.
"It's almost midday, isn't it?" She nodded. Oh my god. This can result in trouble.
"Calm down Helia, you just need to control yourself. Whose mind is that? Yours or that coffee version of yours?"
"This sentence didn't make any sense."
"I think you're right, hmmmm... Aha!"
"What?"
"I got an idea."
"I'm all ears to that."
"I've noticed that unless Nathan is near you, you keep shy even at midday." As she finished saying that I was red as a tomato.
"WHAT? Where did that idea come from?"
"Oh, come on sis, we all know you like him... Except Nathan."
"Just like everyone knows you like Retuns? Seriously, last night, me and Nathan tried to hear you two showing your love to each other but we couldn't hear anything." This sentence was so not like me.
"Helia! Stop with that! I already told you that there's nothing between me and Retuns."
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. You're not the best liar, you know that?
Wait. Is it already midday? I looked at Luna's watch and it was already 12:13pm. Did I just controlled myself?
"Luna. It's already midday and I didn't go crazy."
"Wait. You're not crazy?"
"I think that when I control myself I just lose my shyness."
"Now that this problem was resolved, I can't wait to eat something."
"Now that you're talking about being hungry, I also want to eat something."
"Let's ask Palutena where's the kitchen."
"All right. Where is she?"
"She's right there presenting Retuns to the gods."
Retuns's POV
I'll confess that I don't like to be the center of the attentions. It can get quite annoying. Not even these gods are giving me some time. They keep asking questions. Please. Someone save me.
"Alright guys, it's better to not make him uncorfotable. He still needs to eat something." Thank you Palutena.
As the crowd dissipated, Nathan, Helia and Luna got near me.
"How was it?" Luna asked.
"Believe me. It wasn't that good."
"Now I bet you're all hungry, aren't you? I mean, you arrived here ten o'clock. You should be hungry by now." As Palutena said that my stomach started to rumble.
"Yes, I guess we are."
"Count me in."
"We're kind of hungry too." Wait. Was this voice Helia's? Oh no. Is it already midday? I looked to my watch and saw that it was 12:24pm. How is she controlling herself?
"Helia, is it already THAT time or is my watch broken?"
"Yes. It already is. But look. I'm completely fine."
"Wait. It already is THAT time?" Nathan was surprised and so was I. She would normally be like another person. But this time it's okay. Phew. I was getting scared. I looked at Palutena and she was totally like 'Am I missing something here?'
"It's a long story. But, to make it short Helia gets crazy at midday."
"Errr... I think it'll be better if you explain this to me after the battle."
"Yeah. We still need to eat."
"Oh, right. The kitchen is this way."
As we entered the kitchen, if it was possible, our jaws would be on the ground. This has to be the most beautiful kitchen I have ever seen. It had huge white pillars in Palutena's shape, clean white walls, a beautiful white oven with some golden markings and a large table to do the food.
"This may not be my best one (since the other one was destroyed by some vegetables), but it's still a good one."
"All right. You can leave us here, Palutena. I'll prepare something real quick." I simply love to cook.
"All right. You won't need any help?"
"Maybe just to find the ingredients. This place is huge."
"Okay. What are you going to do?"
"Since we need to do something fast I think my pasta special will be good."
"Bro, your pasta special is to put it into one word, delicious." Nathan said.
"Count us in." Luna and Helia said at the same time.
"And what do you need to do it?"
"Well... I'll need..."
After lunch
"Ahhh. That was delicious, Retuns."
"Thanks, Luna." As I said that Palutena entered the room with Pit by her side.
"I see you guys have finished. You've even cleaned the dishes."
"Well, I don't know about you, Pit. But I'm ready for the battle."
"I am ready as well."
"So let's go to the LvD arena."
LvD arena, Viridi's POV
Gods. Why must Palutena insist on doing the whole presentation part? We just need to know who's fighting who.
"Gods and Goddesses, Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to have your attention, please." The whole arena went silent.
"As you all know, I am Palutena, the Goddess of Light, and this is the Light vs Dark arena. But we won't watch a LvD match, no. We'll watch something that some of you have dreamed ever since Pit defeated Hades." I must confess that I got really interested in this match, since we'll watch something different from the usual.
"And speaking of Pit, here is he." She said and Pit appeared from the left door of the arena. Lots of the gods cheered. I don't know why, but I feel confortable seeing him... Argh! What am I saying? I hope that this xenomorph thing is as hard as my commanders.
"And now. For his opponent. Something that most of us fear, something that we Never want to see again, something that almost destroyed Earth, something that makes us want to believe it never happened." Yadda, yadda, yadda. Just get over there already.
"Here he is, Retuns, the human with powers to transform into a xenomorph." She said that , the right door opened, and a boy came out of it running.
This is what they fear? The boy was suddenly envolved in a dark light and, out of that, a disgusting black creature appeared. Some of the audience cringed in fear as he (no, IT) let out some kind of scream.
"And this battle shall commence... NOW!"

I'm really sorry it took this long to update and all you receive is a filler. But I'm on my vacation, so I'll update more frequently. If I'm correct the next chapter shall appear still this week. Until then, this is it... For now.
