We snuck around Lumiose City, trying to be as unnoticeable as possible. And that's definitely not as easy as it sounds. And it doesn't exactly sound easy either... Oh, whatever.
We made our way to Lysandre Cafe.
"Ladies first." Calem said with a slight smirk.
"Chicken." I replied, stepping into the cafe.
"So far so good."
"Let's head into the lab."
I kept praying that we would find something, anything that could help us. I don't want to lose Shauna and Mimi forever.
Frowning at that thought, I continued to go deeper into the lab, with Calem right behind me. It was pretty dark and seemed like no had been here for ages.
I was ready to give up.
But then I saw a light in the back room on. Hesitantly, I peered through the small, square window.
And I saw the last person I wanted to see.
Lysandre.
He did it. He escaped. He made it out of prison without a scratch.
I kept watch, not wanting to say anything to Calem, in fear of being caught.
It looked like he was talking to someone. But I couldn't see who from my angle. I ducked down the moment I saw Lysandre's head turn towards the door.
"Let's go."
We raced out as silently as we could. Thankfully, we made it out in one piece without being caught.
Not wanting to go back to the Looker Bureau just yet, I made Calem sit with me in front of Prism Tower.
"What did you see back there?" Calem asked, leaning back on the bench.
"Lysandre is back."
"Team Flare may really be ones behind all of this."
"We don't know that yet. Lysandre must have just escaped. We would have gotten a message via holo caster if it happened earlier. They would've warned everyone to be on lookout."
"I guess that's true. They wouldn't allow a psychopath to run around without telling everyone."
"There was someone else with him. I didn't get a chance to see who. He may have helped Lysandre out." I said, staring at the bright lights of the tower. "We still don't know the identity of who we're dealing with."
"We'll come up with something in the morning." He said, putting an arm around me.
"Hey, I'm sorry." I apologized, leaning my head on his shoulder.
"Yeah, I'm sorry too."
"You're right, we can't waste anymore time."
"But we need a plan. And I've got a few ideas."
"What kind of ideas?" I asked.
"You'll find out tomorrow."
"It is tomorrow."
"You know what I mean."
I smiled, not wanting to kill the mood yet. "I don't want to go back yet."
"Me neither."
I scooted a bit closer and closed my eyes, slowly drifting off into sleep.
I freaking suck at updating, but you already know that, don't you? I'm not gonna make any promises as to when I'll be updating again, but I just hope it'll be soon...
Please review, I'd really appreciate it. And thanks to those who have reviewed :3
