Hey guys! Sorry it took so long to post another chapter. It was a really busy semester and I am a perfectionist when it comes to this story and I didn't know how I wanted to go about it. I need some ideas for the next few chapters and I really don't know who I want to cause the accident so feedback would be greatly appreciated. Enjoy!
SOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOAOSAOSAOSOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOAOSOASOASOA
After Clay sent Kip packing that made Eden's world come crashing down, she didn't remember much. As Tara was dosing her up with more pain medication, she vaguely remembered Jax talking Clay down from going after Kip while Gemma was in hush whispers with Tig and Chibs. All she wanted to do was scream in that moment but the medication came on strong, sending her into a deep sleep.
The next morning, Eden woke up groggily to Gemma puttering around the hospital room. As if she had a sixth sense to Eden's eyes opening, Gemma turned her attention to her youngest child.
"Hey. How ya feeling?" Gemma asked
"Tired." was all Eden could say. To say she was tired was the truth, but Eden was feeling a ton of emotions right now, but at the same time felt strangely numb.
"Well you'll get plenty of rest at home. Tara and the doctor said you're good to go but just to take it easy for a while." Gemma said "All you need is some home cookin' and family time and you'll be good to go."
Family time was the last thing she needed right now.
As Gemma was packing a duffle filled with the clothes Eden wore the night before at the party, she rambling off how things were meant to be and she would get through this with family, since that is all she needed. The entire time Eden was silent. What her mom was saying didn't matter and that moment all she could think about was Kip and the fact she would probably never see him again and that wasn't okay with her.
Soon Eden and Gemma's attention was directed towards the door, where Tara was standing there, donned in her hospital scrubs.
"Hey you. How are you feeling?" Tara said softly with her warm kind, brown eyes.
"I'm okay." Eden said. No matter how many times Eden said those words out loud or inside her head, it didn't make them any truer.
Tara could easily see through Eden's facade and gave her a sympathetic look.
"She's fine Doc. That whole issue is behind us and once she sleeps in her own bed and has dinner with her family she'll be fine." Gemma said, clearly not wanting to discuss the topic further.
Tara looked at Eden before she turned her attention to Gemma "Hey Gemma. Margaret in administration would like to meet with you for a few to fill out some discharge paperwork and discuss the insurance."
"Can't that wait? I'm not leaving her by herself." Gemma said in an annoyed tone.
"It'll only take a minute. I'll even stay with Eden." Tara compromised.
Gemma frowned then looked at her Eden then back at Tara again then huffed, "Fine, this better not take long though." she threatened then turned her attention towards her daughter "I'll be right back."
After Gemma left, Eden and Tara stood there in silence for a moment before Tara spoke up. "So how are you really feeling?"
Eden sighed "Like I said before. I'm fine."
"It's okay to be upset you know. What went down last night was a shitty situation that was handled poorly."
"Not like it matters. That shit storm was bound to happen I guess. I was only fooling myself that being with Kip wouldn't cause any drama." Eden said honestly. It hurt to say Kip's name.
"Jax was upset about it last night too. Maybe you can talk to Clay-."
"There is no talking to Clay, Tara." Eden countered, "Once my Dad says something, he means it. He will kill Kip and I can't let that happen. I just lost someone who means a lot to me and I can't do shit about it. Family comes first." Eden said with distaste, a quote she clearly got from her mother.
Tara sighed then shifted in her seat, as if she was uncomfortable with what she was about to say. "You know your Mom and I have always had a difference in opinion with certain things. Keeping your relationship a secret and sneaking around was wrong, but I saw what you and Half Sack had and I know you both care deeply about each other. I think you're old enough to make your own decisions when it comes to love."
"I'm seventeen. I'm still a minor for the next seven months." Eden pointed out.
"In California, the age of consent is seventeen. Which means you do have a choice and how you want to be with and your parents don't have a say in that."
Eden laughed sarcastically "As you know, my parents aren't very keen on following the law."
Tara smirked back "I just want you to be happy Eden and I don't want you to regret anything ten years from now like I do. Fight for what you want. I just want you to know, whatever you decide, your brother and I have your back. Always."
Before Eden could say anything back, Gemma walked into the hospital room. "Well that took longer than necessary. Doc, tell your hospital friend she is a pain in the ass. Did I miss anything?"
Tara smiled "Nope. Just rechecking her vitals. Everything is running smoothly for someone who got into an accident last night."
"Bad hearts or car accidents can't stop us." Gemma said proudly "You ready to go? The Caddy's in the parking garage."
Eden eyed her mother "Dad's not coming?"
Gemma gave a look full of sorrow "No darlin', you're Dad's at the club house with the rest of the guys. Sorting out this mess." This mess was easily about what happened last night with the accident. Eden knew it wasn't Kip's fault they crashed; someone ran them off the road and tried to hurt them. She knew SAMCRO would get involved. She wanted to found out as soon as possible on what or whom caused her life to come crashing down.
SOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOA
All the vital members of SAMCRO were seating in church waiting for their President to arrive. Clay had let them all know they were closing up the shop early that day so all their efforts can be focused on the events of the accident that occurred last night.
"Where's Clay?" Bobby asked Tig, his right hand man
"Don't know. Figured he be here right now." Tig said with shrug
"Probably off cutting the rest of Sacks' balls off." Bobby said matter of factly
"I don't blame him. Prospect deserves it. If that little shit was messing with one of my girls, he'd be burning right about now."
"Can't believe the kid had it in him to pull somethin' off that. Who knows how long they were messin' around." Bobby said
Jax couldn't take what his brothers were saying right about now. Sure they were family, but Eden was his sister and it bugged him that his brothers were openly comment on her life. "Why don't you guys stop gossiping like old ladies huh?"
Before Tig or Bobby could respond, the big wooden doors opened and Clay walked in. The room was finally silent as their club President sat heavily down at the head of the table, like the weight of the world on his shoulders.
There were no introductions. "Where are with the car?"
"Car's in the back lot, totaled by the way. Nothing on the exterior gives away who did it. Back of the car looks like someone kept bumping into them. It's hard to tell with all the damage from it rolling off into the bank." Tig said
Clay nodded, taking all the information in, "What did the Carrow girl say about Eden's whereabouts?"
"Only got to talk to her for a second. Her folks weren't too keen on having me there." Opie swallowed "She uh said, Eden was pretty wasted last night and acting wild. All she knew was that she left with Half Sack and he was the driving the Jeep. She doesn't think anyone at the school could've done this."
Jax could easily see Clay's hands turn white from clenching with the mentioning of Half Sack's name.
Clay paused for a moment "Do we think this was Mayan retaliation?"
"We don't know that Clay." Jax said, honestly "They do some fucked up shit, but to go after a girl like that? It's not their MO."
"She was with the Prospect though. They could've been targeting him and that lead them to her." Tig pointed out, clearly trying to pin the blame on Half Sack
"It doesn't make sense though. If they wanted one of us dead, it'd be an actual member."
Clay ignored the argument between Tig and Jax, "Juicy, what's the cops opinion on this?"
"All I got from my informant is that Hale has no leads. The...uh witnesses don't remember anything. Pretty sure they'll be stopping by the house or the club to ask Eden some questions."
Clay nodded. "I want this and this only focused on. I want answers."
The rest of the brothers nodded. As Clay banged down his gavel, most of the Sons filtered out besides Clay, Jax, and Tig.
"Clay man, about last night. What you did was right. We all don't want that bastard in the club after that. He's lucky to get off alive. How is Eden?" Tig said
Clay waved him, clearly not wanting to talk about Half Sack or Eden "She's being brought home today."
"If you need anything let me know." Tig said on his way out.
As Clay got up from his chair, Jax knew it was his chance to talk to his stepfather. "How you went about last night wasn't right."
Clay turned around and eyed Jax as if he didn't hear him right. "I don't remember asking for your opinion VP."
"I'm not talking to you as the VP, I'm talking to you as your son. You should've let Eden and Sack explain their side of the story." Jax explained
"What is there to say? A Prospect, who I thought I could trust, was messing around with my seventeen-year-old daughter. A man who had made my daughter lie to me for months."
"I agree with you that the lying was wrong, but no one makes Eden do anything." Jax pointed out
"I had every right to kill him last night. You should be happy about that."
"Last night wasn't his fault. You and I both know it." Jax pointed out
Clay eyed Jax, like he couldn't believe what he was hearing. "Since when are you butt buddies with that bastard? You should be just as angry as I am."
Jax didn't say anything. He kept his eyes on Clay and his mouth on a firm line. He was pissed about last night. He was pissed some animal tried to kill his little sister when she had nothing to do with the club's doing. This attack was club related and one their enemies was trying to send a message, he just didn't know who.
"Unless you already knew about it." Clay questioned, piecing all the information together. Jax didn't say anything and that was enough of an answer for the First 9 member. "You knew and you didn't say anything? Jesus Christ that's your little sister. You're supposed to watch her back."
"Don't put this on me. Yeah I knew about the relationship and you're damn right I wasn't happy about it. Sack is a good guy and he treated Eden right. You and I both know she hasn't been as bitchy the last couple months for a reason. She just saw her life flash before her eyes and now you're taking away someone she cares about because they wounded your pride?"
Clay pointed out Jax angrily. "Eden is my daughter and I decide what she does or what happens to her, not you. Just because you have a son you think you know what it's like to be a parent, but you don't. If you ever have a daughter you'll understand. As far as I'm concerned, Sack is lucky to be alive and I'm never letting Eden out of my sight again. I suggest you agree with me Son." And with that Clay stormed out of Church, clearly finished with the conversation.
Jax rubbed his hands over his face. He was exhausted. He knew it was a risk to stick out a limb for Half Sack, but he knew it was the right thing to do. He didn't know exactly what happened last night, but he knew that the former Prospect wouldn't hurt his sister. Hell the guy was mush when it came to her. He didn't know what to do next in this situation. He loved his little sister and was worried for her safety, but he didn't know what else to do to make it better. All he knew that shit was still hitting the fan.
SOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOA
Once Eden and Gemma got home to their empty house, the matriarch immediately put the seventeen year old to bed for rest. The pain medicine she was still taking made her sleepy so for once she didn't have trouble falling asleep. When she woke up groggily, the youngest Morrow walked into the kitchen to smell something cooking. When line of eyesight was in the kitchen, Gemma was pulling a roast out of the oven.
"What's going on." Eden asked.
Gemma turned around from the stove. "It's been a while since we had a family dinner. Figured I invite the guys and their wives over for a family dinner. You need to be around family. They should be here any minute"
Eden had enough of this family talk. She knew family was important, but a dinner with some bikers and her father was the last thing she needed right about now.
"Can I see my phone?"
Gemma frowned "It broke in the accident. We'll get you a new one in a couple of days."
Eden nodded. "I think I'm gonna go back to sleep."
"Okay darlin', I'll wake you up when everyone gets here." Gemma said with a smile. This loving mother act was getting old in Eden's opinion.
Before Eden could leave the kitchen, a quick knock from the other side of the large front door rang throughout the house. It was daylight so the threat of whoever was on the other side of the door wasn't one. At night it was a different story. Eden walked towards the front door and opened it. Inside the little alcove in the exterior of her house was Deputy Sheriff, David Hale.
Eden eyes narrowed "What do you want?" It was never a good thing for a cop, much less David Hale, to be outside her front door. Every time an officer came onto Morrow property, they usually had a warrant were about to haul off her father or brother. The last time it happened was five years ago when Jax got arrested for getting into a fight. Countless times before that, her father got hauled off for his dealings with SAMCRO.
"Hey Eden, sorry to bother you." Hale said. For once, Hale was being polite to her and not snarky. Even though the niceness was different, he wasn't here for a social call.
"Well I'm already bothered so you can go now." Eden replied with disgust, about to close the front door right on Hale's face.
"Look, I know you don't wanna talk to me, but I'm here on police business to ask you about the accident." Hale said, edging his foot against the front door so Eden couldn't close it on him.
"I told the doctors everything that I remember. I have a concussion."
"That may be, but this is an ongoing investigation and someone tried to hurt you. I want to get to the bottom of it."
Before Eden could respond, Gemma was standing right next to her and had on her biggest Donna Reed smile. "David, what brings an officer of the law to the Morrow residence?"
"I need to take Eden's statement on what happened last night, that's all. May I come in?" Hale asked
Gemma opened the front door wider and let Hale in. Normally the matriarch probably wouldn't have let Hale in, but this wasn't to jam up a member of the family. Eden knew her mother was putting on a show, SAMCRO was really handling the investigation and her cooperation was probably just to throw the police department off, she knew better.
Hale opened up a pad of paper with a pen "Okay Eden, I need to go back to the events of last night. Lets start out with what you did the early evening."
Eden eyed her mother, who ushered her to speak. She knew she didn't have anything to hide so she wasn't as cautious as she would normally be. "I went to my friend Jamie's house last night to get ready for a party with some kids from school."
"Who's party was that? Josh Rochford's?" Hale asked
"I'm not a rat. Figure that for yourself." Eden snapped. She didn't want to drag anyone from school into this mess, they already thought she was a future criminal in the making or a future biker whore.
"Okay." Hale said, clearly not waiting to piss off the victim even more "Do you remember anything about the party, like how long you were long and what time you left?"
"I was there for a couple hours. I don't remember looking at the time at all."
"I need you to be honest with me about this, were you drinking or any drugs in your system? The toxicology report came back and your blood alcohol level was .12 and there was pot in your system."
"Clearly you got your answer then." Eden replied bitterly.
"I just want to make sure you weren't drugged." Hale said "Now I'm guessing Kip Epps came and retrieved you from the party. What happened there?"
Eden shuddered at little at the mentioning of Kip's name. It made her heart hurt. She looked over at her mother who was waiting for her to speak. She was probably interested in this part of the story too.
"I was too drunk to drive and Kip came and got me to take me home. All I remember after that is being on Sawmill Road and something hitting us. Next thing I know I'm in the hospital."
Gemma closed her eyes; clearly this was painful for her to hear.
"Do you have any idea who could have done this Eden?" Hale asked
"No." Eden said truthfully "I don't know who would want to try that. It was probably some jackass who was messing around."
"Or it could be one of SAMCRO enemies, have you thought about that?"
Both Morrow women looked at Hale with a murderous look. They should've known better, Hale's main goal was to piece this accident together with SAMCRO and try to pin the guys down for this. The man couldn't let his hatred go."
"I think we're done here." Gemma said standing up "It was nice seeing you David and I think Eden has said what she needed to say."
"I have a couple more questions..." Hale began to say
"And our lawyer, Jason Rosen can answer those for you. We have a family dinner to get ready for." Gemma said
Hale stood up and seemed from agitated that this interview was cut short. After he got into his car, Gemma looked away from the window. "You did a good job with those questions."
"Yeah well I didn't have much to say."
"Your father and the club are gonna find out who did this. Then everything will go back to normal." Gemma said, as she brushed her daughter's thick dark had out of her face.
"I'm gonna go back to that nap." Eden said quickly, recoiling at her mother's touch.
SOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOASOA
An hour later, Eden woke up from another nap and took some of the pain medicine to ease her headache. Getting out of her pajamas, she put on a TM hoodie with some jean shorts. As she walked past the front door, another hard knock like the one earlier that day interrupted her thoughts. Before she could open the door, the person on the other side swung it open. In came SAMCRO and their faithful croweaters, carrying side dishes for this family dinner.
"There she is." Tig said with a smile
Eden pitifully smiled back at her godfather. "Hi."
Tig gave her a big hug "Those cuts and bruises make you look badass, I wouldn't want to mess with you." he said honestly, then ruffling up her hair.
Eden winced, her head still bothered her greatly and having anyone touch it was the last thing she need right now. As Tig passed by more Sons followed through. Chibs and Bobby hugged her as well while Piney gave a grunt that she was guessing was considered to be a greeting. As the Sons filtered out, more wives and croweaters came in, all cooing over her as if she were a small child. Eden hated the gawking much less being touch by croweaters, who's hands have been in a wide variety of places. This was all too much for her.
The overwhelming feeling cause her head to hurt even more than it already did. She could hear her mother call her name as she and the other wives were setting up the table and finishing the last touches of dinner. Lastly, Clay walked into the house by himself. Father and daughter looked at each other silently for a few moments, each one not knowing what to say. Eden couldn't look at her father for not letting her give her side of the story. Clay himself couldn't look at his own daughter because she lied to him and betrayed his trust. The man only trusted a select amount of people.
"How's the head?" Clay asked, not looking at Eden directly in the eye.
"Fine." Eden replied back quietly.
Clay gave a nod and grunt then walk away from his daughter and into the kitchen as if his life depended on it. Eden huffed; the last thing she needed was tension with her parents in a room full of people who were going to ask her questions all night. For most of the dinner, Eden kept to herself despite the constant chatter between everyone and those same people taking quick peaks at the SAMCRO princess to see how she was doing. She barely ate the food on her plate and for once she was in no mood to eat. Out of everyone, she could feel Jax and Tara staring at her the most, despite having to contend with Abel who was making a mess in high chair. They may be her allies in the situation, but she wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone at this point. As everyone was finishing up his or her dinners, Eden couldn't stand to be there anymore.
"May I be excused?' Eden asked her mother
Gemma nodded "Don't worry about cleaning up, I'll call you when desert is ready."
Eden nodded and quickly excused herself from the table. Instead of heading to her room, she walked into the office and sat down and the big leather chair.
The youngest Morrow sighed, wondering how a week ago her life was pretty good. She didn't know about her father's man whoring ways on runs and she was happy with her relationship with Kip. Eden glanced down at the ground and something in the trash caught her eye. She grabbed the trash bin from under the table and inside was all the college applications and brochures that she saved in the drawer from the college fair she went to in the fall. It had to be her mother who had done this, the SAMCRO queen had made it clear she didn't want her daughter leaving home to go college, or leaving Charming in general. Anger flooded through Eden has she believed it wasn't her mother's right to throw that stuff away. Gemma Morrow made it clear that she had a hand in what her children did through her meddling, but this was too much. Going through the drawers of the desk, a cracked iPhone on the top drawer caught Eden's eye. It was her cell phone.
Eden did a double take as Gemma told her earlier it got ruined in the crash. That much was true, but it still turned on despite the cracked screen. Once again, her mother lied to her. Was this some sort of effort from her contacting Kip?
Immediately with this newfound freedom and the fact her parents were with their guest, she knew it was her moment to talk to Kip, She had to talk to him.
As she called Kip a picture of them smiling outside one of those beautiful California days came up. Eden smiled at the memory, but like memories the photo faded away as the call went to voicemail. Eden wasn't about to give up and tried three more separate calls, on the forth one, someone finally picked up.
"You can't be calling me." said a voice that didn't sound like Kip, it was distant, even though she knew it was him.
"Kip." Eden said softly, she could feel her lip trembling.
"Eden, you can't call me. Clay made it clear what would happen." Kip said with fear in his voice.
"He won't hurt you. Please don't be scared of him" Eden said, even though she said this, the young brunette wouldn't put it past her father to do something drastic, as much as that scared her.
"I am scared of him I'm not gonna lie, he's a big guy." Kip pointed out "I don't want to get you into trouble though."
Eden didn't know what to say; even in a moment like this he was worried for her.
"Are you okay?" Kip asked
He may have been the twentieth person to ask her that today, but for once she felt compelled to answer honestly.
"No."
She could hear Kip sigh in the background "This is killing me right now, being away from you."
Finally someone felt the way she felt right now "I'm sorry about last night. I never wanted them to found out like that and strip your Prospect patch."
"It's not your fault. Don't ever think that. I was stupid for barging into your room. I just had to know you were okay. When I woke up in your car after the accident, I saw you not moving and I have never felt sicker in my entire life. I thought I lost you."
Eden breath hitched. She didn't know the events of what happened after the accident but the former Prospect did. "I can't be here with them. My Dad won't look at me and my Mom is acting like nothing is wrong and I can't take It." she said as she began to tear up.
"You have to stick it out. They're your family. They love you."
"They took you away from me. I can't look at them." Eden said
"Hey, don't let your relationships with your parents be ruined cause of me. You're better off without me in the long run. I don't have a job now and I'm just an ex solider with one nut." Kip said with a small laugh "You'll find better."
She didn't want anyone else. What he was saying to her was just as painful as the physical pain she was enduring. "I don't want anyone else Kip. I remember before the crash you told me you love me. You love me and you're saying I'll find someone else. That's not right."
The other end of the line was silent for a few seconds that felt like eternity. "I didn't know you remember me saying that."
"I remember. Did you mean it?"
Another long pause between the two young lovers began. "Of course I meant it. I love you Eden, god you should know that, but I screwed up and we can't be together and I'm going to regret that for the rest of my life."
"Stop saying that." Eden pleaded
"Baby don't" Kip warned, "You need to be with your family. Talking to you like this and being away from you is killing me right now. I just want to let you know that I don't regret us, I never will. I love you and I need you to know that. Ever since I saw you in that office and haven't been able to stop thinking about you and a girl like you wanting to be with has never made me so happy. I'll never regret us."
Eden began to cry, she couldn't stand to hear him talk like this anymore. The way he was talking was if he planned on never seeing her again and thought of that felt worse than death. Grief overcame her. "I love you too." was all she said before she hung up quickly. Wiping away the tears on her face with her sleeve. Eden hated her life right now. The grief passed and soon came anger as her blood began to boil. Her parents were causing this. They should be grateful she was okay and focus on that. She couldn't stand to be around them anymore and would probably never forgive them for this. She could hear some people leaving the house and the clattering dishes into the sink. She couldn't hold her feelings in any longer.
Eden stormed out of the office and quickly into the kitchen where only the Sons were at the table and Gemma and Tara were picking up the dishes.
"You have no right to keep me away from Kip." Eden said to the room.
Everyone began to stare. Gemma dropped the plate in her hands into the soapy water and the Sons looked up at her to see if they heard her right.
"Eden, now is not the time..." Gemma began to say
"No I think this is exactly the time to say this." Eden said honestly then looked at her father directly in the eye "You have no right to strip Kip of his patch and threaten his life. He did nothing wrong."
The room was silent as Clay got up from his char, "No right? My Prospect has been with my daughter for months behind my back, screwing her in my clubhouse and under my roof."
"It's not even like that!" Eden exclaimed, "For your information, we have never had sex. He was my boyfriend!"
She could see the Sons and her brother wince when she said the word "sex," but she didn't care that she was making them uncomfortable right now.
"You are seventeen years old. You are too young to be with someone in their mid twenties."
Eden rolled her eyes "Seriously? That's your excuse?" then she turned to her mother "Mom, weren't you my age when you met JT? Who by the way is the same age as Kip. Hell she was only a year older than me when she had Jax and married JT! Kinda calling the pot calling the kettle black, huh?"
Clay stepped forward. The closer he got, the more Eden could see his face reddening and the veins in his forehead popping out. "He almost killed you last night. He's lucky to be walking."
"He saved my life!" Eden yelled "He picked me up from that party and got me out of a bad situation. He drove my car and someone tried to kill us! He was the one to call the police and get us to a hospital. You should be thanking him."
"Eden..." Jax began to say
Eden held up her hand "No Jax, I need to say this. I love Kip and he loves me. You are not keeping us apart. I am seventeen years old and in the eye of the law that makes me an adult. I decide who I want to be with, hell I decide if I want to go to college or not." She made a point to look at her mother at the moment to let her know that she one what she did with her college papers.
"You are not to see him again." Clay warned
"You guys are such hypocrites. All my life you guys said I was going to marry a Son and carry on the family business and now I do and you all flip shit? So what, I found the person I want to be with a few years earlier than you expected. You should be happy that he is apart of this world and treats me right. Make up your mind."
Clay huffed and was silent for a moment. Everyone was waiting intently on what he was about to say next. "You are my daughter and I decide what you do. As long as you live in this house and are apart of this family you will abide by my rules. From now on you will always have a patch on you and you'll never be out of my sight. Your freedom in this town is over. You don't agree with that, then get out."
"Clay!" Gemma yelled, clearly not okay with what he just said.
At that moment Abel began to wail and Tara scooped him up to take him to the living room and away from the drama.
Eden knew her father's ultimatum would stick, he was a man of his world and she knew that and she also knew what she had to do. "Fine then. I'm leaving. I can't stand to be in this house anymore." Eden walked away into her room and grabbed her duffle bag and began to throw clothes in there. Trailing behind was her mother, father, and brother.
"What do you think you're doing?" Gemma asked
"Leaving. I can't stay here anymore and clearly Dad feels the same way. I'm making it easier on all of us." Eden said honestly
"You can't leave." Gemma said
"You may feel that way but I am." Eden said, walking past her family and out to the hallway.
"Eden be reasonable. We'll talk this out." Jax pleaded
"I'm done talking. I am taking control of my life." Eden said confidently, she then looked at her father who once again wasn't stopping her from leaving and couldn't look at her in the eye. She hoped her father knew she was serious with her threat and would stop her, but it was clear Clay Morrow meant what he said and that is all she needed to know.
"I'm sorry I had to do this, but I know what I'm doing is right." Eden said as she opened the door and walked out. Gemma tried to go after her but Clay grabbed her arm to stop her. "Let me go! We can't let her leave!"
"She made her choice and now she has to live with it." Clay said "She doesn't want to be in this family anymore and that's fine." he said tiredly and walked away from Gemma and looked at the rest of the Sons. "What are you all standing there for? Party's over." he said before he went into the master bedroom and slammed the door shut.
Everyone else couldn't believe what just happened here. The youngest Morrow stood up to her parents and got kicked out of the house and willingly left. Never in the a million years did the Sons think Eden would run off with the Prospect, hell they all remembered her when she was born. They all knew that shit was just about to get started and this drama wasn't far from over.
Gemma looked at the closed front door, waiting for her daughter to walk back through and say this was all a joke. Family meant everything to Gemma Teller-Morrow and the life she built so had for was crumbling faster than she could fix. She wasn't going to let her daughter slip out of her grasp. She was a fighter and she was going to fix her family. She wanted things to get back to the way they use to be.

Forty five minutes later, Eden found a ride from one of her high school friends she scraped the barreling of calling to drop her off at Kip's apartment on the border between Lodi and Charming. With a sigh she slung the duffle bag around her shoulder and walked up the stairs to his apartment.
After a couple knocks at his front door, it finally opened with Kip standing there in a t-shirt and boxers with a huge slung around his arm. When he looked down and saw who was there, his jaw dropped
"What are you-"
"My Dad kicked me out. Well, I willing left too. I can't live there anymore with them. I'm tired of them controlling my life and I won't let them take you away from me."
"Eden..."
"No, just listen. You told me you loved me less than two hours ago and I know you mean it. I love you too and I want to be with you. I'm an adult now and it's time to start making myself happy and you make me happy. I choose you, Kip."
Kip stood there for a moment, clearly processing all the words she just said, in. Eden was worried about his reaction as he didn't have one at this point, but soon a small smile crept upon his lips. Before she could smile back, Kip leaned in and kissed her hard on the mouth. Eden kissed him and set her hands against his chest.
As he broke away he looked down at her and smiled "We're crazy for doing this. You just left your parents house and I'm pretty sure Clay is gonna murder me, but I don't care. I am so happy to have you hear right now."
Eden smiled back. "I'm gonna need a place to stay."
"You're staying here. I'm not letting you go, ever." Kip said, as if he were making a promise. The twenty-something man opened the door and let his girlfriend into his apartment, their apartment now. Eden looked up and smiled back at Kip, she knew she was making the right decision.
