So much time, so many stories to finish so I thought I would go with one of my oldest stories and hopefully finish it off…

Maugoth's thoughts trailed off as boredom came looming over him. This ended as he saw the vast fortress of Helms Deep in the distance, even Gurz in his state rose up and looked at the fort in wonder over the uruk's shoulder. "Crikey. Thats impressive." Then a worried look. "You think this can withstand Sharku's army?".

Maugoth kept a straight face. "Unless he's devised something deadly for the walls, they wont get far."

Emlyn looked over her shoulder to Maugoth. "You ok there dear?" She said smirking. "You seem lost."

Maugoth looked over to his love. "No, just admiring the fort."

Emlyn smiled. "You, Nurzum and Gurz need to stick together from now on for your own safety."

Maugoth smiled. "Nurzum will be too busy with his speech lessons from the kings niece."

Nurzum's POV

I still struggled to form words as Eowyn spoke to me, it wasn't my small mind that was stopping me, I was transfixed by her….

"Nurzum? Are you still there?" Eowyn asked me. I shook my head and nodded.

"Sorry I was just looking at the fort, it… ahem its pretty."

The shield maiden forced a smile as she looked over at my face again, she seemed transfixed as well, maybe in curiosity? She's probably never had too much contact with my kind. Also she had told me all about how she cared for Aragorn, why did I feel jealous?

We arrived at the gate and Eowyn stood in front of me even though I loomed over her. "Open the gate!" The guard atop the battlements shouted. We all began to walk in, I looked over to Maugoth and he nodded to me. We were getting looks from all of the soldiers and peasants walking around as we passed them to the keep.

We unpacked our things and me, Gurz, Emlyn and Maugoth sat down at a bench in the corner so we could rest. Soon Theoden walked up to us and sat down. "I trust all is well?". We all looked up and I was the first to speak up.

"All is fine." I said piecing together my words, Maugoth and Emlyn held hands and smiled in congratulations to me.

Normal

Theoden was about to talk again when the doors to the keep swung open and Aragorn walked in barely able to stand up. Maugoth could see it in his eyes, he had seen something terrible…

Once they are done with the people of Rohan you and the other traitors shall be dealt with…..

Maugoth held his head and growled in pain as Nurzum began to hear a voice too…

Speech skills wont help you against them…

Nurzum batted his head until it stopped.

Emlyn put her hands on the shoulders of the uruks. "What's the matter with them?" She asked Gurz. "Is it the voice again?". But Gurz was dealing with his own voice, but it wasn't Saruman's.

You cannot hide, I see you….

Sauron's ghastly voice caressed Gurz's mind as he yelled in pain. Soon the voices stopped and the orc and two uruks were fine. Just as they had recovered and started to eat, Theoden came walked down after seeing to Aragorn.

"What news?" Asked Emlyn.

Theoden shook his head. "An army, ten thousand strong, they will be here by nightfall." All faces went blank as the king gave the news. "I want you, Maugoth, Nurzum and your orc friend to go into the caves during the battle, you will be safe."

Emlyn seemed offended. "We can fight!".

Theoden held up his hand. "I do not doubt that but I don't wish our friends to be lost due to being mistaken for an enemy and I need you to look after them in the caves with the women and children, they aren't used to servants of darkness residing with us."

Emlyn nodded in understanding, Gurz piped up. "Sorry about that."

She nodded. "Its ok, I just wanted to do my part."

Nurzum spoke up. "Considering we escape from Isengard and live to tell the tell, we deserve some rest."

Maugoth raised both his eyebrows. "Well said friend, now come let us eat and patch up Gurz."

Emlyn smiled as the three walked away, then Maugoth ran back to her and placed a small kiss on her lips before running back to the others.

Nurzum and Maugoth were patching up Gurz with bandages as Hama walked by the room and walked inside. "Am I intruding?".

Maugoth looked over his shoulder as he held down Gurz as he was bandaged. "Nah come in, help us hold im down, he wont stop yelling." Hama quickly held down the orc as he was slowly healed.

As soon as Gurz settled down and dozed off the three sat down in fatigue at the task they had just performed. "Look, I just wanted to extend my gratitude for saving mine and Gamlings life and I am sorry you cannot join us in battle."

Maugoth clapped Hama on the shoulder. "Its alright, look Nurzum the first fucking tark I don't want to skin."

Both uruks laughed as Hama gave a curtesy smile. "On that note I must help my soldiers prepare."

Nurzum and Maugoth waved as the captain left the room. "Well this had been a journey so far." Maugoth gasped.

"Nurzum is feeling that this will not be over just yet." Maugoth nodded. "Just a shame we cant fight."

Maugoth leaned in. "The voice in your head, what did it say?"

Nurzum frowned. "My speech lessons wont help. Yours?".

"Traitors will be dealt with, meaning us." Nurzum then looked annoyed and stood up.

"Cant be negative, theres a good chance men will win the battle." Maugoth was beginning to respect Nurzum as a friend and a better and smarter uruk-hai. Then a horn blew in the distance.

Maugoth looked up. "Thats not one of darkness." Then his eyes narrowed. "More bloody elves."…..

(-Meanwhile In Orthanc-)

Saruman loomed over the body of Rutrukh and began to wave his hands over the body. "You hold a dark grudge for the traitors and I shall use this hatred to my advantage." He began to chant an incantation that had the uruks body wriggling before snapping awake and howling in pain. "Awake my warrior!" Saruman boomed as the undead uruk climbed onto his feet, his wounds were still there but he felt nothing.

"Must find and kill the traitor bastards and the fucking woman!" Rutrukh yelled, immediately remembering the cause of his death.

"Soon my soldier, soon you will drink the blood of the free peoples." Saruman said grinning evilly…
