AN: Sooo... Hi again :P Alright let's go bust some stuff!
Melina glanced above the rocks and saw Elphaba run past the mountainous rocks beckoning Fiyero to follow, she quickly ducked and dialed a number "Hey Zac? Can you meet me at the beach?" She whispered into the phone
"Yeah, why?" Zac asked, his phone in his shoulder as he cleaned a glass cup with a wash cloth
"Just bring your boat… we're going to Hale" Melina said, checking to see if Elphaba spotted her
"Okay… see you there" Zac confirmed "shoot!" He cursed when his phone fell into the sink. Melina laughed and hung up, staring at the water. Smiling she put her phone in her bag and jumped into the surf.
"We'd better go look for her" Cecelia suggested to the group, going for the side entrance that led to the canal
"Um… Cece?" Lindsay questioned, following her outside
"Yeah?" Cecelia murmured as she stared at the water from the docks for a second
"What are you doing?" Lindsay probed
Cecelia crouched down and took off her tennis shoes "I just thought… since I have water based powers like Glinda… maybe I could… you know… breath underwater" she explained, staring at the liquid again. Lindsay laughed and was about to protest but she heard a crash and a couple of shouts coming from the house and had to check if anybody was hurt. Cecelia sighed 'Well here goes something awesome!' She thought in a sing song voice. Lowering herself slowly into the water and gasping when the warm temperature engulfed her, she submerged into the water. Bubbles swirled around her, unveiling a dark shadow under the water two minutes later.
"Okay… so your Melina's um… what?" Lindsay asked the boy on the couch
"I'm her best friend… Zac" he replied, not wanting to admit that he knew something important about his friend
"Okay… I'm Lindsay. This is Ali, Bonnie, Derek, Gl- Gloria, Peach, Nia, Raé and Bunii"
"Lindsay, darling" Glinda charmed using a British accent for a minute "can I talk to you… in private?"
Lindsay shrugged "Sure…" Glinda and Lindsay smiled, they walked into the huge marble kitchen and- "Why didn't you tell him my real name?! Let alone that! You chose the worst name even I could've thought of!" Glinda yelled
"Hey, at least it's pretty!" Lindsay protested in the way she thought Ali would've
"Oh yeah… never mind then" Glinda cooed before striding back into the living room "Sorry about that" she apologized in a sugar covered tone, re-buckling the belts on her pink wedges "back to what we where talking about when you arrived…"
Nia sighed, got up off the chocolate brown couch she was sitting on "He's. A. Vampire!" She exclaimed hotly, glaring at the pale boy sitting on the other dark green pillow dotted couch
"I'm not! I'm just a free diver, the lack of sunlight in the water makes me pale" Zac explained, getting his monofin out of the black and orange duffle bag sitting at his heels, showing them the equipment then shoving it back in the bag
"The water should tan you!" Nia shot back, shaking her head
Zac ignored her comment "Gloria, where is Melina?" He asked dryly, regretting coming to his friend's house
The group were on the beach looking for Cecelia and Melina, Peach and Nia weren't really helping though… more like arguing over what Melina was
"At least she isn't a zombie!" Peach challenged
Nia splashed her with water "Yeah well it's not like she's a- OH MY LURLINE!" They see Cecelia surface with Melina, shimmering Gold and Blue mermaid tails that resemble the ones pirates of the Caribbean four following them as they swim to the shallows next to some huge brown boulders "OOOOOOO!" Ali squealed with Glinda and Nia
"I want one!" Bonnie pouted
Cecelia smirked proudly "guess who I found?" She asked, pointing to Melina and laughing
"Guess who's an idiot?" Melina sighed. Melina managed to pull herself further out of the water, her fins staying in the water and her hair covering her scale coated chest, with the help of Zac who just laughed. It took some struggle to get Cecelia out of the water due to her sudden weight change because of her thicker tail. Melina was easier but refused to leave the water and stayed on the rocks with the water up to the thin part before her fins started. "How'd you get your tail?" Zac questioned, his arm around Melina
"Well… I jumped in the water, loads of bubbles surrounded me and" Cecelia crashed her palm and fist together "bam! There it was!" Cecelia explained
"Please, that's not even impressive" Melina bragged, playing with her hair
"And you don't like H2o transformations?" Zac teased Melina
"No… but mine is more natural" Melina answered simply
"Yeah… I can see that" Cecelia stated, pointing to Melina's sapphire - greenish tail sloshing 'round in the water.
Elphaba twisted her hands nervously "Melina, can we talk to you, in private"
"Okay…" Melina stuttered, watching Zac move away from the rocks.
"What happened?" Fiyero asked her, gently wrapping his arm around his daughter. Melina bit her lip, squeezed her eyes shut and looked away from them
"Lainey and Sam told me what happened… I was only four… and Me, Lainey and Sam were on a vacation… one day, I wandered around the cliffs on a deserted island and found a cave… Nobody knows what happened but" Melina's eyes started to fill with tears and she looked back at her mother "I came back to the camp site and I was all scratched up, I was so dirty and covered in blood that… we didn't even know I was scarred and changed until they cleaned me up in the river" she explained finally breaking down into tears. Elphaba gave her a sympathetic look and grabbed her in a hug, they stayed like that for what seemed like a hundred years.
"You weren't always green" Elphaba muttered suddenly "It's my fault"
"No" Melina replied, still whimpering "It's not. Don't think like that"
"Huh… I wonder… if it's just a curse" Elphaba wondered aloud
"Fae" Fiyero snapped, frowning
"No really, think about it" Elphaba said
"C-could be" Melina mumbled into the lavender shirt that Elphaba was currently wearing "or it's just what we're meant to be like this no matter what" they stay silent again. Melina suddenly had the urge to ask her mother something "Mom?"
"Yes baby?"
Melina gulped audibly "What happened? To us. On the day we were born"
Elphaba managed to keep herself under control enough to talk, "I saw you three, then the nurses had to take you away. Feeding tubes and oxygen tubes… " Melina stared at her arm, wondering if her sisters had the same mark, a black spiral running all the way from her elbow to the back of her hand. The top of the spiral was a serpent's head, feathers displayed like a crown of reds, oranges and yellows.
Maria looked around her very real cell, tugging in her chains again. She'd broken the spell after having to shoot at least twelve other people, she couldn't name what their species; they resembled a human but didn't move or sound human, just from that she had known they were dangerous even before they tried anything, they had injured her but not killed her. Nightmares had now corrupted her sleep, so she stayed up. Staring at the bloodied floor, Maria noticed a shadow pass the door "Morrible?" Maria asked softly, hopping for an answer
"Yes, Maria" Morrible sighed, stopping in front of her cell and looking into the darkness.
"Why do people think you're evil? Why do you do evil things?" Maria slowly questioned, tracing the dents in the cuffs of her chains.
"I am evil and I want the throne" Morrible protested, it almost sounded like she was unsure of herself even though she knew she was doing something wrong.
"No, you're not" Maria whispered to her surprise "I know you're not, you just don't know what else to turn to" Maria explained, talking as if she knew Morrible's life story.
Morrible smiled at the girl's innocence, not that evil yellow toothed sneer that she'd usually do but an actual, heart warming smile "I wish I weren't but… every story has it's own bad guy" She murmured, holding Maria's gentle gaze before continuing down the hall.
"Who'd get shot for a witch?" Melina asked
"I'd get shot for a witch" Zac answered with Fiyero and Derek like it was obvious
"Obviously you guys would, you all love one" Melina informed, rolling her eyes.
Cecelia shrugged in agreement, sipping her milkshake "Nice place you got here"
Melina smiled "Thanks… we just hope it won't go under" she explained, glancing around the surfer themed snack bar.
"At this rate, it probably won't" Elphaba mused, finally relaxing a little as Fiyero massaged her neck. Raé wasn't with them at the moment, she had caught sight of one of the waiters and noticed; the skin on his arm was shimmering every time the light hit it, a chink in the armor maybe?
"Raé? Raé? EC to Raé?" Bonnie called, waving her hand in front if her face whilst Nia snapped her fingers. Raé jerked back "sorry… can you guys come with me?"
"Sure" they both chirped, following Raé over to the waiter
"Excuse me?" Bonnie asked politely, fluttering her eyes
"Yes?" The waiter asked, turning towards them
Nia looked at his name tag "William? William, can you show us were the surf boards are?"
"I don't know, mate" William replies, continuing in rubbing down the bar
"Please?" The three girls pleaded, fluttering their eyelashes and puffing out their lips in a pout.
"No, sorry" William answered, turning away from the.
"Get Peach" is all Bonnie whispered to her cuisines as she put her hand on her hip and stared at William.
Peach strutted over, winked at Bonnie then popped a cherry lolly pop in her mouth"Hey, sorry about my sisters but they really want to go surf boarding and we don't have any boards" Peach explained innocently "So if you could please show then where the boards are that would be easier for all of us"
William gawked at Peach "O-okay" he stuttered, tripping on his way around the counter as he stared at the beauty before him. Peach waved to him as he disappeared behind two heavy doors with Bonnie, Nia and Raé. Nia locked the heavy metal doors and looked at Raé "What now?"
"We kidnap and interrogate him!" Bonnie explained, an evil glint in her eyes
William frowned "Right… You'll have to catch me first!" Raé flicked her wrist and crystal locked his shoes in place "Or not" Jack sighed disappointed
"
Jack, why can we not meet without you doing something bad?" Raé asked, walking in front of him and crossing her arms
"Uhhhh… I don't know" Jack replied
"Then just help us, then we'll let you go… or not" Bonnie shrugged
"Nope" Jack chuckled
"Why?!" The three annoyed girls asked together
"Because" Jack replied simply
Raé rolled her eyes "Because isn't a reason, come on let's go tell everyone that Jack's here" Bonnie sighed, pulled Jack to angle, his face almost hitting the floor and started dragging him
"Don't you think that's going to be a bit obvious?" Nia asked, pointing to Jack's feet
"Hey, we could've had Cecelia put some solidified water on his ankles but nooooo, we had to have diamond!" Bonnie whined
Raé frowned "Okay one, Diamond looks more awesome. Two, That was a really good TV show Bonnie but… I actually don't think that's possible"
Bonnie put her hand on her hip, leaning Jack on her shoulder "It's a water power, of course Cecelia's going to have it-"
"Both of you just shut up, Raé take the diamond off and let's go" Nia ordered, ready to get out of the dark room
"Fine…" Bonnie and Raé scolded, doing what their sibling said
"Who put her in charge?" Jack questioned in a playful voice
Nia glared at him "Don't. Test. Me! I have a lot of powers!" She warned
Glinda glanced around "Were's Raé? Never mind that were's Bonnie and Nia?! We can't leave those two alone! Who knows what they'll do?!"
Peach walked over "It's alright, they've gone to interrogate Jack"
Nia cocked her head in wonder "How'd you know?"
"Bonnie, and I could see through that little disguise Jack had on. Illusionist, remember" Peach teased
"Ooooo yeah" Nia sang, skipping in front of her sister and cuisine. Bonnie and Raé struggled with Jack "N-Nia, a little help?"
Nia turned around with a horrible look on her face "No! Would Glinda help you with such a hefty job? No way in the world-"
"Actually, I'm going to" Glinda corrected, getting up from the red couch and walking over to the struggling teenagers, starting to stop the bickering that had suddenly erupted between the teenagers and the captive.
