AN: UPDATING! YAY! *has big dance party* sorry about not updating sooner, exams messed everything up...
Almost everyone in the group were getting ready to blast Morrible's butt out of Oz. Everyone except Elphaba, who just glared and stalked right to the foot of the tower. Everyone's weapons fell to the ground and powers faded as she stomped past, her grimace making them stop dead. Elphaba's eyes narrowed at Morrible for a second then she put her hand to her chest "Fine." Is all Elphaba hisses through her clenched teeth.
Glinda nearly cried at how easy her friend gave up "Elphie-"
Elphaba pulled a glowing orb of gold out of her chest and looked at Glinda with pain in her eyes "Glin. Just stop! It…It's over." The green witch sighed. Glinda's eyes really did fill with tears then, never ever did she think she'd see the day that Elphaba gave up on something. The blonde pulled the orb of white of her chest and passed it to Elphaba, glaring at Morrible's sneer as she did. Wicked fans and actors glanced around frantically, obviously not knowing or believe what is going on. "Wha?" Bunnii gasped
"Oh, miss Elphaba please don't tell me that you haven't taught them how to use their powers? Hmm?" Morrible teased
Elphaba's gaze fell knowingly in the group "Actually, they know more than how to use them" She muttered, only confusing the teenagers and Actors even more.
"You know what she's right" Peach said suddenly, eyes locked with Elphaba's in agreement and totally in sync with her Idol. An orb of violet came whirling out of her chest and her staff reverted to a normal silver and purple jewel studded bracelet "We know more than how" She smiled. Nia and Raé's mouths dropped open in shock, since when did peach give in to Morrible? Ever? Finally Nia shook her head "No. No. No. No. Never!"
Lindsay walked up to Nia and put her hand on her shoulder "Nia-"
Nia shrugged Lindsay's hand off and started screaming "NO! WE WILL NEVER SURRENDER TO MORRIBLE! NOT IN A MILLION, BILLION YEARS!" the teen softened and glanced around the group "Right?"
"NO! Don't give Morrible your powers!" Raé yelled, stamping her foot and glaring at everyone else to make sure nobody did
Bonnie cocked her head 'Wait a minute… oohs… you're havering a mind conversation! Okay…' the raven haired girl sighed and glanced around the group, everyone nodding as she did. The rest of the group pulled their powers out of their chests and one, by one (except for Fiyero of course) and then handed them to Elphaba. The green witch threw them up to Morrible. The fish caught the orbs and disappeared back into the tower, rushing back out to show off Maria. Morrible grabbed Maria unusually gruffly by the hair and shoved her onto the edge of the balcony "DEREK!" Maria screamed, scrambling and scratching
"MARIA!" Derek screeched, looking ready to kill the fish. Fiyero suddenly came rushing up to the tower, throwing one of his arms up to the sky. Everyone looked at Fiyero like he was a psychopath for a moment until the tower started to shake and quiver, Elphaba jumped back as Flames started to lick the bottom of the tower and an inky black smoke started to filter into the dark straight building. Morrible glared at Elphaba who was smirking her face off "WHAT THE?! I SAID ALL OF YOUR POWERS!" The fish yelled at the top of her lungs
"Yes you said all… you just didn't say when!" Fiyero teased, sticking his tongue out immaturely
"Honey" Elphaba said sweetly to Fiyero
"Yes?" Fiyero sang, dancing a little victory jig
Elphaba raised an elegant raven eyebrow "Give me my powers" Fiyero started pouting "so that I can blast this frog's-"
The winkie prince waved his arms in total weirdness "Woah! No need to go there!" Fiyero whined, taking the golden orb out of his chest and giving it to Elphaba.
"Thank you" The emerald raven haired witch praised in a sugar coated voice that did make Glinda proud. Elphaba absorbed the sphere into her chest and glared at Morrible "You better give me Flori. Now."
"You want me to give you Flori?" Morrible asked, something in her voice making everyone shiver with the thought of an impending apocalypse "Fine. I'll give you Flori" Morrible shoved her hostage cruelly against the banister, scaring the shiz out of everyone "You never said dead or alive. Hah" Morrible cackled.
"Raé, you'd better have some kind of miraculous rescue planned for this" Peach and Nia warned at the same time.
Raé smiled back at them cheekily "Yes, yes I do" the bronze girl grinned "it should happen in three. Two. One" a squeal was hard from the tower. Maria and Morrible had glanced back at the darkness of the tower, apparently it had come from the room in there. Jack came running out, breathing hard and seeming panicked about something, he leaned over and whispered to the two woman. Maria frowned and Morrible's wrinkled face crinkled with worry. Raé looked up at Morrible "What's wrong? Pest problem?" She teased making it obvious that she'd done it
"Jack. Again, as I said in the cake shop,YOU'RE DELIRIOUS!" Maria cried as she attempted struggling in the Morrible's grip again. The green girl had caught Morrible off guard and had managed to duck under Jack's arms as she sprinted back into the tower. Everyone watched the tower with total frustration, Morrible had hobbled back in, Zach glanced at Peach "Don't you have phasing-"
"Had" Peach reminded, lifting her index finger and waggling it at him "And yes I did" she replied, glaring longingly at the tower.
Nia pouted "Wow, don't mind me. It's not like I had an awesome flying power or anything like that" She snapped. Peach made a face at her, which was gratefully returned by yours truly.
"Shhhh" Glinda shushed as she rounded the tower again, "It's right-" The tower's wall cracked open "Here"
"How do you even know the tower had secret door?" Elphaba asked Glinda as she crawled inside
"I've got info" The blonde said simply, shrugging her shoulders best she could in the small space. Derek sped through the narrow moist walls, panting and glancing in almost every direction except up and down. He nearly ran past a room but stopped dead when he saw Maria on the floor with Morrible standing over her sneering her smart frog face off. The skin on his Fiancé's back was burnt in lines only lightening can make. She was coughing too. "IN HERE! I FOUND HER!" He yelled although confusing Morrible, giving hope to Maria. Derek charged into the room, going straight for Morrible. The actor shoulder charged her, knocking both of them off balance. Morrible glared at him, throwing her hand in front of her and striking Derek with lightning. The clever actor dodged it to the right only to be struck down by the second strike of lightning. Derek fell to the ground in front of Maria, unconscious. Maria grabbed him in her arms and began crying for help "Derek look at me!" she whispered silently "look at me!" she muttered to Derek's limp form in her arms "DEREK KLENA! LOOK AT ME!" She demanded, her voice getting higher in octave with each word.
Morrible's top lip curled in a snarl of disgust "Don't be so dramatic"
Maria glared up at Morrible "What did I ever do to you?"
Morrible clenched her fists and glared at the child "You were born!" Maria laid Derek down on the floor and stood up calmly, dusted her skirt off and glared at Morrible.
"I don't believe you were always like this, but this has gone too far!" Maria yelled, walking up and slapping morrible.
Peach and Lindsay jumped into the room out of the wall on the left, hitting paintings and chairs as they did. "FISH! YOu better…" Peach's voice faded when she saw Derek on the floor "MORRIBLE YOU SON OF A TWISTED IDIOTIC SELFISH BISCUIT!" Peach screamed, swinging her arm and running forward. Lindsay grabbed Derek's hand and hugged Maria, trying to comfort the crying princess. Nia and Bonnie came in next, shattering the browned smaller dome separating the two rooms behind Morrible. Bonnie stopped dead and stared at Derek "And that's going too far…" She snarled. Nia nodded her head and slowly raised her hands, the air in the room seemed to ripple with the amount of energy being drawn into this action. Raé and Ali came in from the stairs that Derek had, rushed in and surrounded Morrible.
"Where's. The. Others?" Peach asked between pants and swipes as she attempted to knock Morrible onto her butt.
"Upstairs, doing something. Elphie found the Wizard" Ali explained, sending white hot electric from her fingers towards Morrible. Nia grimaced, even though she hadn't been up there with them, she knew it was bad.
"Watch it Ali! Don't hit peach" Bonnie warned. She slammed her foot to the ground and a crevice opened up under Morrible, attempting to swallow the frog-like-fish-like-human-mammoth-thing but failing, laying openly vacant afterwards. Raé jutted her hand toward Morrible, Ice spluttered around the fish. Bunnii appeared in the room, copied Raé's motion and watch as crystals flung themselves from the ground and circled Morrible and Peach. Peach cried out in pain when Morrible had twisted her arm behind her, tripped her and held her down on the ground afterwards. The Fish glared at the rest of them "Alright, touch me and she's dead" Morrible snarled, her eyes hoping to stab each one of them with daggers.
Peach's eyes flashed dangerously, "And I was so hoping I wouldn't have to kill you in real life, so that I could kill you in IPY but… since you're being a total b-witch…" Peach spun around, grabbed Morrible's arm and twisted it exactly the same way she's done to her. The nineteen year old leaned down next to Morrible's face "Do it, or anything like this whole situation again, and I'll do something way worse" Peach seethed, glaring directly into Morrible's brown eyes. Suddenly, she let the old hag drop to the floor with out a care in the world
"That is so like you" Raé and Nia smirked together. Peach shrugged, putting her foot on the small of the fish's back triumphantly when she tried to scramble back to whatever dark hole she came from. The others glanced at each other, clearly making a mental note not to mess with Peach ever again. Glinda and Elphaba ran into the room, nearly sliding down the hall when they had to make the sudden turn into the room. Elphaba smiled on the girls "Well, guess you guys didn't need my help at all" She glanced at each one of the girls proudly, each one blushing afterwards.
"Girl Power!" Glinda cheered, hugging Ali and squealing.
"We still have el uno problemo" Lindsay hissed, gesturing to Derek cradled in Maria's lap again. Cecelia walked over, kneeling next to Elphaba and cupped her hands over Derek's heart and a shimmering dark red light came swirling into her hands "There. All… all fixed" She gasped
Maria shook her head "He's still not waking up" she sniffed. At an instant everyone in the room started crying, needing one of their friends to comfort them whilst they stared at the actor on the floor.
"Come on Derek" Nia cried, shaking in fear for the first time in her life
"Derek wake up" Bonnie whined, shaking his arm
"Peach do something" Raé pleaded as she cried into her older sister's shirt
"I can't but…" Peach looked up at Elphaba "Elphaba, please?"
Elphaba bit her lip "I don't know if I can…" Peach nodded and looked sadly back at the ground. They all waited in silence until Derek's sudden gasp told everyone that he was alright.
"OMIGOD! Was I dead?" Derek yelled at the top of his lungs as He glanced around frantically at the smiling faces and laughing girls
"Yes, for a while there" Maria chuckled, hugging him hard and kissing every inch of his face
Melina and Marcy came in, struggling to haul Jack along. Jack had been tied up in chains, and gagged just for the fun of it "Let's ditch this joint" Melina chirped happily
"That's it. I'm set for life" Marcy laughed, making everyone else laugh. Zach blushed for some odd reason, catching the young girl's attention. Marcy blushed too. The group stumbled their way out of the dark structure, only stripping once or twice to see if there were anymore prisoners but after that they marched right out and sat on the grass to catch their breaths and enjoy a world were the fish was going to get what she deserves. "I did shame him…" Elphaba shrugged, she glared at the Wizard "I still am" the old man looked away and let his soft gaze linger on his grandchildren then the teenagers sitting with them as they talked. "But… he is my father so I forgave him. After glin… managed to get my revenge…"
"She made me promise to clear my little Ellie's name and stuff" The Wizard said gruffly
Elphaba leaned over "I'm not so little anymore" Fiyero chuckled, hugging Elphaba closer. They talked for a while after that, until the younger half of the group came up to them with their eyes gleaming with excitement.
Glinda grinned "Hi guys! Is there something you want to ask?"
"Well… at the end of every FF the people visiting always go to the emerald city… could we go?" Bonnie and Nia fought to say, pushing each other aside at the end to smile.
Elphaba laughed "Well as long as it's okay with Glin. How about it? As log as me, Yero and the girls stay hidden until you clear our name?" Elphaba asked, looking at the Wizard at the end of her sentence, Glinda shrugged and the teenagers yelled with pleasure. Instead of taking forever like they did before, Glinda made a giant bubble around the group, the teens tried to run around only to end up sprawled on the ground in the silvery ever changing color bubble. Eventually they had to stopped after they knocked almost everyone else's over, Bonnie and Bunnii had attempted to run up the sides and slipped down the entire bubble; sliding all the way across the whole thing and knocking everyone off their feet. The bubble popped in a shimmering pink-gold dust when they landed on the golden roads of the emerald city. Elphaba casted a shapeshifting spell on the three green young adults and herself to hide the green before they landed, instructing then to change their look of anyone suspected anything.
"Wait, everything's gold" Raé frowned, scrunching up her face in confusion "I wrote this emerald" she turned to Glinda with a skeptical face whilst the others started scrambling around to get to shops and museums and stuff like that.
"Okay, I made a couple of changes… the Animals and Ozians didn't and don't mind. I just really wanted to class this place up you know?" Glinda chirped
"But Lin you've basically taken everything that I like out!" Raé whined in a Galinda like way, stamping her foot and crossing her arms whilst her already pouty lips got even poutier. The two immediately started bickering over the color of the city and if one should ask the other if they can change something. "Well if I can't change the city a different color then, you can't die you're hair and eyes a different color when you go to the salon today without asking!" Glinda squealed, staring the teenager in the eye
"Well then you can't get different colored dresses then!" Raé retorted, sounding very much Elphaba did when she said the same thing in Shiz.
"Well then-" Glinda was interrupted by Nia dragging her into a musical. The two glared at each other as they lost the other in a crowd. Marcy shrugged and took Raé into the salon yapping about how ticked off Glinda could get. They all met up after finishing their tours and shopping spree in the center of the city, too much shopping bags not enough woman and complete make overs. "So, to the palace!" Glinda chirped, waving to Ozians as she strutted in her new short yellow dress and was followed by the crowd of people. They put their bags down at the front and went into the throne room, to sort out rooms for tonight or whenever they might come back. "Oh, I got you guys something" Glinda squealed, lifting two different boxes out of a shopping bag "see? At least an eighth of what I bought wasn't for me!" Peach chuckled "Here" the blonde girl handed the teens and adults a different box each. They took out necklaces, each individual to each power and person, including the giant gems in the center. Glinda squealed "Fangirl surprisies!" The child like witch laughed, jumping up and down on the spot like she did when she was called Galinda.
Nia squealed and hugged the witch of the north "I love it!" She practically screamed
"I second that!" Bonnie yelled
"Me three!" Bunnii and Peach squealed together, then staring each other down to see who actually is 'Me three'
Raé stared at Glinda "So… does this mean we're even?"
"Yes" Glinda confirms from her bone crushing hug with Nia, only to be nearly suffocated by Raé and Nia hugging her twice as hard together.
"Hey! It's the wizard!" Some body gasped from the crowd suddenly growing around the victors. Marcy muttered a curse under her breath and was immediately scolded by her father. "And it's Madame Morrible too!" Another voice rambled, quickly interrupted by a chorus of voices.
Glinda detached herself from her two friends "Please, fellow Ozians, please!" The inhabitants of the now golden city didn't listen and started insulting the teenagers and actors, who in turn yelled insults back. New places, new attitudes I might say. By the time Glinda managed to be heard over both of the arguing sides of the sudden yelling everyone was really ticked off and had steam puffing out of their ears "Alright, alright! Ozians, is this anyway to treat royalty?"
Elphaba blushed "Glin, seriously?"
"Yes. It's your kingdom and they deserve to have their rightful ruler and you are they're rightful ruler. Well, rulers if you count these lovely girls and boys" Glinda smiled, rubbing Nia gruffly on the head
"H-hey!" Nia laughed, swiping her hand away and grinning.
