For Raven, the next two days were unfortunately short. The letter had come and given the girls the time, directions, and instructions. And now they where all gathered up in the small park on the east wing. It all seemed so rushed that it felt somewhat unreal to Raven. Her heart beat fast and her blood rushed, she felt like she would vomit any second from being so nervous. Sarah of course was so excited she was jumping up and down, her airy flowing shirt dress whirling around her. Sarah was so bright, relaxed, and happy. And here Raven was, wrapping her large grey sweater wrap around herself with her arms crossed trying to hold in her lunch.

All were astounded at the architecture that enclosed the gorgeous lush green vegetation of the park. Looking up towards the sky, a half honeycomb patterned sphere filtered sunlight through to the large trees and sleek grass. Everything was just absolutely beautiful.

The girls were confused though. What were they supposed to do now. All they were doing was standing near the entrance to the park and admiring the plants.

They had been standing for a few minutes, talking among themselves, simply just chatting when the honeycomb patterns began to rotate and open. The sudden noise made the group jump and turn. They prepared to dismiss it as the staff wanting let in fresh air but a young woman gasped loudly and pointed at one of the open tiles.

Climbing in through the tile was a large Xenomorph. The girls all began to back up towards the doors. But trying to escape was not an option. There were guards stationed at the doors, at least five.

Wait, guards? Why in the hell would there be guards?

Thought Raven.

The Xenomorph leaped down to the ground and the girls backed up even more. Other Xenos began to come in from other tiles and suddenly they seemed like they were everywhere. It was an awkward staring battle between large extremely dangerous Xenomorphs and poor little defenseless females.

Defenseless, my ass

, Raven glanced around. Ok maybe they were a little defenseless. Going up to one of the guards with a clipboard, "Um, Hi. What exactly are we supposed to do here?" she asked nervously, careful not to take her eyes off the ominous group on the other side for too long.

"Well, ma'am now your supposed to meet your mates.." He grinned apologetically.

"Uh huh…and umm, how exactly are we supposed to do that?"

"Honestly, miss I don't know. This is the first time I've ever been to on of these thing, I'm just supposed to take notes on the progress…sorry" he said, continuously looking down not wanting to look her straight in the eyes.

"Great." Raven smiled sarcastically. Sarah had stepped up behind her and tapped her on the shoulder.

"Rave, I swear to God they look like they're getting closer." she whispered.

Another guard standing of to the side waved to get their attention. "Hey ladies, I've been working here for quite a while…and I've noticed that you pretty much just go up to them and it seems to work out just fine."

"Riiiiight…" went Sarah "So we pretty much just go up and…what? Say hi?"

The man shrugged his shoulders and grinned.

"Okay." Raven turned back to the rest of the girls and pushed Sarah in their direction. "These people are clearly insane."

"But really, what exactly are we supposed to…" Sarahs voice trailed off and her face went pale.

The group of Xenomorphs were moving towards them and the girls had nowhere to run.

…...

So as simple as Niroh could understand was that his group was to wait outside the park until granted access. It had been about half an hour and they were getting irritated and impatient. Niro went up to the front to accompany his superior.

Something bothering you?

Malek always seemed to be able to tell when Niro was troubled.

Everything

, the younger Xenomorph shook himself in an attempt to calm his nerves. They were supposed to enter the Facility and expect that the humans would not trap them inside and kill them. You're putting far to much trust in them..

And what else are we to do?

Asked Malek calmly. All our females are either dead or unable to reproduce. If we do nothing, our species will most certainly die out.

I understand that, but why put ourselves in vulnerable positions such as this?

The clicking and turning of the tile mechanisms caught their attention. The males flicked their tail blades in anticipation.

What other choice do have..?

With that, Malek went forward and the others followed.

Niroh observed the surroundings one last time before he nervously went after his brothers.

Once leaping down from the tile, he saw the females standing still on the other side of the park. His brothers had not attempted to get any closer. This situation was a very delicate one. If they frightened their mates, they would have an incredibly difficult time getting them to trust.

Again, Niroh met with Malek. What are we to do now?

I am not certain. It would be best that the females initiate the contact…..however…

Niroh waited. …However?

His superior did not respond. He simply began to walk towards the females.

Malek!

The other males began to follow.

…...

The males were moving and the girls grew more and more nervous by the second. One of the women however, seemed to have grown some brass knockers. The older woman, somewhere in her forties, separated herself from the tight knit group and stepped towards the ominous Xenomorphs.

"Wait!" some of them called after her, grabbing at her sleeves trying to keep her with them. But she kept on walking. And so did they.

After a few long seconds, the woman met, face to face, with the largest of the Xenomorphs. Complete silence.

The others continued to walk slowly past the couple. But the women were focused on just the both of them. It was obvious she was scared. She was shaking furiously.

But the Xenomorph did something none of them really expected. He crouched and laid his large powerful head on the ground, curling his tail around both he and the woman. The woman, still shaking, kneeled in front of him and skimmed his elegant crown with the tips of her fingers.

The women, appearing to be put in some kind of strange trance, eventually stepped forward as well. Raven, being in front of the group was pushed forward along with them. Glancing around, she noticed she had lost Sarah. There was also another girl in the group, who didn't want to get any closer than she already was. But trying to escape was difficult for her, she kept running into other girls. A few seconds later, she sat herself on the ground, rocking herself back and forth. Raven tried to reach her, to comfort her, but was continuously being pushed forward, until finally, the group dispersed.

Raven was left standing alone. Watching as other girls met with other Xenomorphs. The whole event seemed so unrealistic, raven almost believed she was dreaming. But her heart was beating so damn fast, this couldn't be a dream. Ravens eyes darted back and forth, searching for a way out. But there was no way out, not unless she wanted to dart past the oncoming Xenos and jump out one of the tiles.

A large Xenomorphs was making its way towards her. But as she kept on looking, she noticed it couldn't be her mate. She didn't feel anything. Anything but the ground shaking ever so slightly with every step he took.

Raven took a step back. And another…and another. But he kept coming. She took one more step, ready to bolt for it any second. She tripped over a ridge in the dirt and hit the ground hard.

Suddenly, the Xenomorph was a few inches from her before he stopped for a second to sniff at her. Satisfied that she was not harmed, he continued on his way.

Still on the ground, she turned to see him walk up to a young woman. Slowly, she began to rise and step backwards, trying to take in her surroundings before she stopped. The hairs on the back of her neck were rising and a loud snort came from behind her.

…...

After Niroh had come up to her, he was unsure of what to do next. She still hadn't turned around and he was beginning to get nervous. Was she rejecting him?

He had tried several times to get her attention, but she continued ignoring him. He was almost ready give up and just accept rejection. But it hurt him to think about it.

A few steps forward, and he softly nudged at the small of her back.

Please…turn around? Look at me, just once?

…...

NopeNopeNopeNope….No. There is no way I am going to turn around. Nope, won't happen. He'll go away eventually, right? Right? Oh God…Please help me.

Raven stood terrified, her eyes clamped shut.

Seconds ticked by. She almost thought him gone. Until of course, he nudged her.

Raven gasped, biting her tongue. She didn't want to scream. But hell, did she really want to turn around? She promised Sarah that would go through with this. She promised. And so far, neither one of them had broken a promise to each other.

Before Raven could think twice about it, she put one foot behind the other and whipped around. Her breath caught.

The Xenomorph was at least two, maybe three feet taller than she was. As far as she could tell anyway. She could be way off.

The creature had no eyes. But if he had, they'd be searing into her. Adrenaline, once again rushed through her veins. That, and something else. Something hot and searing, all over her body, leading a small trail to her lower center. This was her mate, the one called Niroh.

The Xenomorph swung his head, slowly from side to side. As if he was nervous or shy. Then, he lowered himself to the ground, wrapping his tail around his large, pitch black body. In some ways, he resembled a cat, curled up. But he was much more lethal.

Raven continued to stare at him. For a split second, she tore her eyes away, to look at the girls around her. They were touching, almost petting, the Xenomorphs. Should she be doing the same? Risk getting that close to him? They had, maybe so should she.

Raven took a deep, deep breath and stepped closer. Raising her hand to his lowered crown, she carefully laid her palm on his head. The moment she did, a calm, peaceful feeling went through her. She still felt slightly nervous, but no longer afraid. She felt protected.

Then, Niroh began to rise, to stand up and tower above her. Ravens heart began to beat a little faster. The Xenomorph stepped beside her and lowered his body to the ground again. Except, this time he was right next to her, his heat radiating out. Laying down, he curled his tail around her and pressed his head against her stomach.

Raven smiled, ever so slightly, and leaned against him, resting on his hind leg. She continued to stroke his large crown delicately as her large and powerful Xenomorph mate, began to purr.
