Hi guys this is Matsuri Kazehana, aka YolandaStargazer, back with a new chapter of Gray's Double Life! I'm soo sorry for the delay, Writer's block infested my mind, and I haven't had any time to break it until now. As usual, here are the warnings.

Chapter 6: Prelude to the Song War
Previously on Gray's Double Life, Natsu and Gray continued their concert as Sol and Luna Kagamine, aka The Kagamine Lovers. They were disrupted, however, by none other than Minna Miku of Miku Entertainment. She challenged the duo to a song war, consisting of 10 songs per each group. The person with the most votes wins the song war. Gray accepted the challenge, and suddenly…
"Hey hey hey Magnolia Citizens! This is MC Magnolia here! If there's a song war going on here, I'm the man to host it!" A dude jumped onto the stage, mic in his hand.
"Ne Miku… is there a possibility for us to have an intermission before we start our song war?" Natsu asked politely, fidgeting in his black pumps.
"Very well then, Jacob, what time is it?" Minna asked her contractor.
"It's 10:30 Miku." Jacob replied.
"Alright you Kagamine Lovers, or whatever you two are. I'll be nice, and give you 30 minutes. At 11 PM, our song war will start. Is that fine with you? Good. I hope you enjoy your break, and have a nice plan to try and beat me. You already beat me once, and I won't forgive you for it. Prepare to get an ass kicking boys." The green haired teen turned 180 degrees and flipped one of her long pigtails, as the clicking of her boots decrescendos into silence.
"Let's go Natsu. We have to plan something out for this…" Gray started walking off the stage.
"Y-Yeah." Natsu followed after his raven boyfriend, tying his best not to burn the shoes he was wearing into nothing.
Backstage, with Natsu, Gray, Lucy, Erza, Lisa, and Happy…
"Green is the enemy, Green is the enemy, Green is the enemy…"Lisa chanted over and over again, as she paced the room, biting her thumb nail.
"Ne, dousurun minna? This concert is supposed to be the best of the Kagamine Lovers' songs. All of those hit songs… Didn't you 2 already perform them…?" Lucy asked, sounding worried.
"A-Ano…. Excuse me, Can I come in…?" A small voice asked.
"Come in." The manager, Erza replied.
The door opened, and a small girl, in her early teens maybe, came in, 3 pieces of paper in her hand. "I'm the president of the Kagamine Lovers Fanclub. I'm Wendy Marvel. On behalf of the Kagamine Lovers Fanclub, I am here to present Sol and Luna possible song options for them to sing in the Song War."
"Woah, seriously?! Thank the LORD!" Natsu jumped. Now that he was in more comfortable clothes, comfortable enough to breathe in, he was happy he could move in a more comfortable fashion.
"Chill Natsu, just chill…" Gray calmly said, as he tightened an arm warmer onto his arm.
"These are songs personally chosen by the fanclub itself. These songs weren't on the concert program, so we believe that these may work." Wendy said shyly.
"Ok then, let's look at the list then!" The rosette grabbed the papers, looking at the songs the fanclub chose for them.

"I actually think this is a good Top 10, to tell you the truth." Lisa said, pushing up her glasses.
"…" Gray said nothing. It was visible, though, that he was nervous because of what his Top 10 looked like.

"You have a hard decision to make Gray. Wanna please the fans? Or do you wanna play it safe?" Natsu teased his boyfriend.
"Urusai Natsu! I-I… eto… Ore… Wakaranai!" the raven threw his sheet into the air, and grabbed his hair in frustration.
"Damn this selection for the Kagamine Lovers to sing as a duet is, like, perfect!" Lucy gasped in shock.
"Which songs…?" The duo asked, kind of worried at what the fans may have said was good.

"Really?! Like, half of the "Our Dark Romance" Album has been selected as part of our Top songs!" Natsu cried out, shuddering in fear.
"Our Dark Romance" is an album about, Natsu and Gray's dark romance. Unlike Fire N' Ice, which talks about the immroals of their forbidden love, this album promotes, encourages their forbidden love. Full of lust, or just flat out perverted… This was the first album to sell out in a matter of minutes as soon as it was released. Their PV, you ask? Flesh. Flesh was their promotion song, and it was ranked #1 for almost a month.
"Ok boys, like it or not, at least 1 of these "Our Dark Romance" Songs is going in!" Lisa said in an 'authorative-like' voice.
"Hai hai…" The boys said solemnly.
"Don't worry! This is a song war, not a concert. No costume changes. You are representatives of Kagamine Entertainment, so you guys just wear your Kagamine pride, and keep Minna Miku's ass planted onto the floor." Lisa said, an evil aura radiating from her body as she said those words.
"Lisa ma'am! Minna Miku has just said that there won't be alternating groups. It will be kept constant, so things will go smoothly." A guy said.
"Yokata.. Arigatou!"
"Yep!"
"Lisa…? So… We're just going to have like a mini concert, and the person with the most accumulative votes wins the war, yes?" Natsu asked.
Shock of the century! Natsu said something smart!
"Oh shut the fuck up! I know you guys are shocked I said something like that!" he stuck his tongue out.
"Stop it you all! Yes, Natsu-san, that is correct. So, we will keep it balanced. 3 of Sol's songs, 3 of Luna's songs, and 4 of the duet's songs. That should do it then." Lisa said.
"Can I suggest this then? How about Sol Sol Burning Night, Victims of Love, and Melancholic for Sol's songs, then Sexting, Utsukushii Namae, and The Otherside for Luna's songs, then Flesh, Yami no Dance Site, It's My Road Roller, and Electric Angel for the duet's?" Lucy asked.
"Then it's be balanced, and it will be alternated Duet, then sol, duet,then Luna, duet, then sol, duet, then luna, sol, and luna. That way, it will all just fall in a nice balance." Erza said.
"Aye Sir! That sounds wonderful!" Happy cheered as he popped out of nowhere with yet another fish in his hands.
"Oh just shut up you neko!" Lucy said bitterly.
"Hai hai." Happy replied.
"Urusai!" Lucy yelled.
"Well, excuse me then…" Wendy turned to leave the group, when Natsu said something.
"Thank you Wendy. I think these lists will help us win this war!"
"You're welcome, Sol-chan…" She opened the door, and gently closed it. Soon after, another knock was heard, and some people entered.
"We came to support you two! Good luck Natsu, Gray!" Mira Jane said in her optimistic tone.
"Yeah! Show that Minna Miku how to be manly!" Elfman said, his fist in the air, "Man Pride" written all over his body language.
"Natsu-kun, Gray-sama… Juvia wishes you two the best of luck." Juvia said, still feeling bad about what happened all those months ago.
"Eeei Juvia, they don't need luck. They just need to go somewhere private to fuck each other to the point that they can't even walk." Cana said, slurring some of the words. It was quite evident that she drank a whole bunch.
"Ai!" Lucy blushed to the point that she was as red as a tomato. Erza cleared her throat, trying to fight the incoming stream of blood that was bound to come her way via the nose.
"There should have been a song for that! Damn, why didn't I think of that sooner!" Lisa cursed.
"L-L-Lisa.. I think Flesh is close enough to something like that…" Gray said, now feeling uncomfortable by Cana's true words.
"The Otherside is such a perfect song to sing in this war! I mean, the film makers of Takumi-kun Series 3: Bibou no Beauty even requested if they could use that song!" Mira Jane said.
"You watched the Takumi-kun Series as well?! Wasn't it good?!" Lucy squealed.
"The chemistry between Watanabe Daisuke and Hamao Kyousuke was like PERFECT!"
"I know! But Baba Ryouma and Naito Taiki's kiss scene in Pure was just AMAZING!"
"Lisa! 5 minutes before showtime! Minna Miku is requesting that Sol and Luna watch the war from the audience point of view." Another dude came by and informed.
"And the Human Contact Phobia… Talk about traumatizing, but Gii named it so well!"
"Ladies, I'm sorry to interrupt, but I'm afraid the time has come for the song war to begin. I love the Takumi-kun series though. We should get together and watch it someday." Lisa said.
"Ok then. Gambatte you two! We're voting for you, like always!" Mira Jane waved goodbye.
"Make Fairy Tail proud Natsu, Gray." Head Master Makarov said before he left with the rest of the members.
"Shubidubaa.." Gajeel randomly came in and sang, his steel electric guitar (That is not in tune, let's just say) playing a sour chord.
"Get out Gajeel. We have to get ready…" Natsu said, not like himself.
"Leave it on the stage you flame head."
"..Yeah… Thanks."
"Natsu what's wrong…? Are you getting cold feet now?" Gray looked at his boyfriend, clearly saying that he's worried.
"That's not it… I'm just worried that I won't do a good job. That's all." The rosette replied.
"Natsu…" Everybody looked at the person in red.
Then, not even caring if there were people watching this… Gray placed his hands onto his boyfriend's face, and gently, softly, kissed him on the lips. It was short, but it got the point across.
When they broke, a relieved look was on Natsu's face.
"Thanks Gray.. I think I needed it."
"Oh my god! It's just like how those Kagamine Lovers Fangirls describe it!" Lucy exclaimed, practically dropping her cell phone.
"You… read fanfiction… those fans write…?" The two idols asked, quite terrified that their stylist does that.
"What?! Of course I do! It gives me inspiration to continue my novel!" the blonde defended.
"Yeah, what… are you writing an R-18 romance novel? Because if you are, those fanfics are the way to go!"
"Not ALL of them are like that!"
"What, like 5? I'm serious! All of those ones that people LOVE are like, drama here, make up there, soft scene here, go to somebody's house, close the door, make out at the door, find their way to a table, sofa, bed, or stable countertop, then it's like fuck paradise!" Gray dramatically said, flailing his hands in the air.
"Not your shirt Gray!" Lisa tried to keep it down, as the frustrated raven needed to take off something.
"Gray Fullbuster I believe you have given evidence that you read those fanfics yourself. You must be deperate… thinking of Natsu like that…" Erza smirked, as a small stream of blood came down her nose.
"Erza! Here!" Lucy gave another tissue to the manager in red, since her one from before was totally soaked in blood.
"Aiii! I'm NOT DEAPERATE!" Gray countered, pink spreading all across his face.
"Gray..? Calm down. At least we're in the now. It doesn't matter what those fangirls think, as long as we're together in a way that both of us are happy, then it's all good. So calm down.. and we'll get ready to take Minna Miku and her ego down." Natsu said. Truthfully, it would be nice to do something like those fanfics plot out, 'I guess it can wait until our tour's over then…'
"Ok then… Let's go." Gray took his boyfriend's warm hand into his cool one, and as the Kagamine Lovers, they walked to the audience area and sat down.
The intro to xxxxthe ripper came on, and Minna Miku entered the stage in her unique manner and stopped at the center. She found the Kagamine Lovers, and gave a cocky smile.
"Nobody will stop me from getting the title I deserve! That top spot of fame, belongs to me! Minna Miku! Kagamine Lovers, Sol, Luna… You asses are mine for the beating. I hope you're prepared for it.."
"Oh hell yeah we are Minna Miku! But our asses aren't going to be the ones that are going to be kicked. It's yours! So you better watch out, because the Kagamines are having a revolution, and we'll overthrow Miku Entertainment! So what if it's a secondary branch to the main one?! I think it's about time the secondary branch gets to rule!" Luna yelled.
"That's right Miku!" The fans screamed.
"It's been almost 100 years since the Entertainment branches have been found and developed. It was always Miku Entertainment, the first generation of stars, that won the popularity and awards. But now, we, the Kagamine Lovers, have arrived. And you better watch out Minna Miku. Because we won't stop when you go down. When Miku Entertainment forfeits and says that Kagamine Entertainment has won this war, then we'll stop. We're starting a revolution, and revolutions will happen in the entertainment business!" Sol spoke up in a shy-like voice. (It's something Lisa asked him to do. 'Act gender neutral,' she said. So gender neutral means act all shy and girly?! The world may never know…)
"We'll let the audience decide that. Now, let us start this! Our Song War has now begun!" Minna Miku threw her hands to the sky and shouted. 'Let's see how long you last, Kagamine Lovers…'
Minna Miku, prepare to get ousted!'
"Hey Hey Hey you citizens of Magnolia! I'm your awesome host, MC Magnolia! I hope you're having fun out there! I know I am! Because Minna Miku is here! Interrupting the Kagamine Lover's concert! This war is going to be made up of 20 songs, 10 from each group. What you have in your hands right now is a voting mechanism. In the end of each person's selection of songs, there will be a short intermission for you to decide if you want to vote for that particular group. You may vote more than once. If the voting is tied, we will go into Sudden Death. When one group gets at least one more vote than the other group, that person is declared the winner of this song war! So Mignolia citizens right in front of me! Are. You. READY?" MC Magnolia yelled, his atmosphere just brightening up this whole 'war thing' that was about to happen.
"YEAH!" Fangirls screamed out loud, jumping up and down like crazy.
"Prepare for your high and mighty ass Jacob. We're going to win this." Lisa glared at the male contractor, a fire in her eyes.
"We'll see about that, Lisa. Minna's prepared a wonderful selection of songs, so I think we may win this, not you." Jacob replied back, his cool attitude pissing Lisa off even more.
"Why you little-" Lisa stopped, took a deep breath, and looked at the concert stage. The only person who was occupying the stage was none other than Minna Miku herself.
"Let's start this Song War then! Hi, you all know me! I'm Minna Miku, and I'm gonna show you what happens when the secondary Kagamine branch starts to rise up and beat down the main Miku branch!" Miku cockily said, as her first song started.

Intro from xxx the ripper album- If I am correct, there isn't much singing in this album. My favorite track, Free(Track 3) only features Miku's voice. So basically, it's not a song, but a very, very catchy instrumental lasting only about 1:16 or so.
