Tagiru's Bizarre Adventure

After some life-threatening experiences he got in the past several arcs, Tagiru is set for another adventure as this time he goes INTERNATIONAL as he gets to play a paid "treasure hunter" in which things would get out of control once he gets in to the face of this arc's antagonists, which Yuu Amano gets dragged along for the ride which also involves their partner Digimons as their adventure takes them mostly within the European continent.

This arc is inspired from the 1986 Jackie Chan film "Armour Of God", and this is where Tagiru's next adventure would come in…

Ch. 20: Yūrina Mōshide

A few weeks later Nene returned to Hong Kong to resume her career as an "idol" while Taiki, Tagiru and Yuu resumed their schooling and luckily Tagiru has recovered from his injuries and he is back to his energetic self, which Taiki is glad that his "kouhai" is upbeat which shows that Tagiru has fully recovered with no signs of emotional trauma though Yuu wished that his fellow schoolmate would "wise up" after coming off from several near-death experiences though Taiki reasoned this is Tagiru's defining traits which Yuu sighed in defeat.

By then another stray Digimon appeared and is threatening to expose itself to several humans and there Tagiru went first, ready to get some actions which Yuu sighed in annoyance though Taiki assured that this is fine for now.

"Here I Go!"

"Tagiru! Wait...! Ah, there he goes again..."

"That's okay, Yuu..."

"But Taiki...he still hasn't changed..."

"At least it shows that he has recovered..."

"But look at him...he's just like before..."

"He's Tagiru after all...he is still reliable..."

"Really...?"

"Really."

Activating their X-Loader, Tagiru went to the Digi-Quartz to go after the rogue Digimon with Taiki and Yuu following, and in the minutes that passed by, the trio teens, along with their partner Digimons, defeated the Digimon with Taiki placing it inside his X-Loader though Tagiru is "dancing in triumph" while Yuu tells him to behave yet Taiki plays the peacemaker and persuades the pair to pipe down as they head back to the real world, and after they did, they head for a nearby snack bar, where a foreigner began to follow the teens, having seen them emerged from the Digi-Quartz.

Later at the snack bar, Taiki, Yuu and Tagiru are eating their snacks and are talking about their recent adventures though Nene was brought in on the subjects, letting them know that he would one day ask her out, which Yuu went defensive while Tagiru reasoned that she is in "good hands" which Taiki assured that Tagiru would "care" for her well should he won Nene's heart though this did little to alleviate Yuu's worries over the possibility that his elder sister would fall for Tagiru, and this made him wary at Tagiru's intention to court Nene.

By then the foreigner approached the trio and gave them his card, revealing that he is working at an auction show somewhere in Europe and asked Tagiru for his services, and while the teen is feigning that he is not the type, the foreigner showed to him and the other two boys the pictures of them in their time at the Digi-Quartz as well as riding Train-Mon when visiting Nene at Hong Kong, which Taiki felt worried about their secret, though the foreigner assured that their secret is safe and wishes to asks Tagiru to accept his offer and there Tagiru listened to what the foreigner says.

"...as you can see...I felt that you could be of great help..."

"So what do you want from me?"

"Actually..I have a job offer for you."

"Really? Like what?"

"Retrieving a treasure...at a foreign land...Africa."

"Really? Why me? And what made you think that I'm the one you seek?"

"Because you have the ability...and that you can earn something once you retrieve it..."

"Okay...I'm listening..."

The foreigner told the trio that he wants either or all of them to use the Digi-Quartz to transverse to Peru and Africa to find and retrieve two pieces of treasures that would comprise the legendary "Armour Of God", and promises that after the auction he will pay the commission at 60%, in which Tagiru asks if the payment would be in American Dollars, which the foreigner confirmed, and Tagiru's eyes flashed where Dollar symbols appeared, and he readily accepts the request, though Yuu appeared to be doubtful though Taiki felt that this would be a good way for Tagiru to "unwind" after the recent events that happened to him.

And everything is set and in place as Tagiru's "next adventure" is about to take place.

A few days later, outside the Kyoto International Airport, Tagiru is standing outside the parking area and is looking around to see if the coast is clear as he doesn't want to attract attention once he activates his X-Loader to commence his "trip" to Africa and he knew he couldn't afford to waste this chance to earn a huge commission in America Dollars, so he double checked the area around him, and seeing that the coast is clear, he activated the X-Loader and entered it, and soon he is inside the Digi-Quartz, where his partner is waiting for him.

"Gumdramon!"

"Thanks for waiting!"

"Are you sure about this?"

"Yup! At least I'll be getting paid...and when I get the money...I'll treat you to something tasty!"

"Really?"

"Really."

"Okay...then let's go!"

"Right on!"

After meeting up with Gumdramon, Tagiru saw Planemon waiting for passengers to ride him and approached the rather huge Digimon and asked him to take to a place that is parallel to Africa, which Planemon accepted and soon Planemon took off with Tagiru and Gumdramon on board and are now heading north-bound that in the vicinity of Africa, which Tagiru is looking forward to as this would be his first solo adventure and even a lucrative one.

Back at Kyoto, Yuu and Taiki are at a snack bar as they noticed that Tagiru is not with them and they deduced that their friend has commenced his "mission" to go to Africa and retrieve one of the treasure parts that would comprise the "Armour of God", and Yuu is quite worried that Tagiru would get himself in tons of trouble knowing that he would jump first without thinking yet Taiki has high regards for him and assured that things would turn out well for Tagiru though Yuu is not so optimistic.

"I can't believe that Tagiru agreed to that foreign guy's promise of a good pay..."

"You worry too much..."

"Who wouldn't?"

"Tagiru knows what he's doing...if he sensed that he's being used, then he would've backed out..."

"But what if he's...?"

"Gumdramon's with him...so Tagiru should be okay..."

"You sure know that he's a magnet for trouble, you know that?"

"Not really..."

After that, the two fiends finished their snacks before paying, which they left the snack bar to head for school and hoped that Tagiru would find what he is lookng for and return back from Africa so he can resume his schooling.

The scene shifts somewhere within the European Union, where a certain scene zooms in at a mountainous area where a group of people, mostly men, are seen dressed like druids, and as the scene zooms further within the caves, you can see that a man, in his mid-40's, is sitting on what appeared to be a throne, and is watching over the people doing something sacrilegious, as if he is leading a secret cult, in which this mysterious group remained hidden and a secret from the outside world.

Looks like Tagiru is going "international" as he is now heading for Africs via the Digi-Quartz and Planemon, and with Gumdramon in for the ride, expect our heroes to get in to some "tribal troubles" should he encounter some "tribal warriors" and even militia men...
