Tagiru's Bizarre Adventure

After some life-threatening experiences he got in the past several arcs, Tagiru is set for another adventure as this time he goes INTERNATIONAL again as he gets to play a paid "treasure hunter" in which things would get out of control once he gets in to the face of this arc's antagonists, which Yuu Amano gets dragged along for the ride which also involves their partner Digimons as their adventure takes them mostly within the European continent.
This chapter, Tagiru's next stop is in Peru, and there his "next mission" is to retrieve something that is considered a "treasure", and while he narrowly escaped the tribesmen at Africa, this one will definitely brought Tagiru to his limits as he is going on a jungle trip, and this means he's going to get in the faces of a different group tribes, and in the process he will accidentally come across a "magical artifact" that will affect his future outcomes in the succeeding chapters…
Ch. 22: Perūde wa Kiken
Johannesburg, South Africa. The scene shifts outside that capital's international airport, where a portal linking it to the Digi-Quartz appeared, and Tagiru appeared holding a map while getting Gumdramon to go inside the X-Loader along with the "treasure" he and Tagiru secured as he look around seeing that he is outside the airport and there he prepares to enter, having secured the first of the two missing pieces of the legendary Armour of God. He sighed as he had taken an hour of resting after narrowly escaping the African tribesmen that nearly caught him and now he is about to head for his next destination.
"Whew..."
"You sure are lucky..."
"Yeah...I am..."
"So what now?"
"You hold on to this while you get back inside the X-Loader...then we take the Digi-Quartz and head to our next destination...Peru."
"Okay...but...you sure you don't need top rest...?"
"I'll be fine..."
"If you say so..."
After some discussion, Gumdramon went inside Tagiru's X-Loader, taking the treasure with him as the teen entered the Digi-Quartz to find Plane-Mon and ask the Digimon to take him to his next destination, and after several minutes Tagiru found the Digimon and requested to take him to a certain place which the Digimon obliges and as Tagiru boarded, PlanMon takes off and heads to the direction that Tagiru requested, and the teen is looking forward to find the other treasure as he is expecting that the next one would be easier.

The scene shifts somewhere within the European Union, where a certain scene zooms in at a mountainous area where a group of people, mostly men, are seen dressed like druids, and as the scene zooms further within the caves, you can see that a man, in his mid-40's, is sitting on what appeared to be a throne, and is watching over the people doing something sacrilegious, as if he is leading a secret cult, in which this mysterious group remained hidden and a secret from the outside world.
By then, a man dressed like a druid approaches the cult leader and informed him of the current events, in which the leader is aroused in curiosity when told that a piece of the Armour Of God has been extracted by a mere Asian boy, and there the leader asks more about this boy and in response he told the leader that according to his "source", the boy is due to head for Peru and after getting the other piece of the Armour Of God the boy is going to meet with the curator and auction it, and there the leader tells his follower to have the spies in Peru go on the lookout for the boy.
"...is that so...?"
"Yes, Grand Wizard..."
"Hmm...I couldn't believe that a mere Asian boy would pull something that off...but nevertheless...it is a good opportunity..."
"On what?"
"Have our spies ready...including the ones in Peru...it's possible that he might go there..."
"Shall I have some decipher that boy's identity...and follow him...we may consider making an offer so we can have what he had acquired..."
"As you wish..."
"Good."
After that, the cult leader continues to oversee his other followers performing their sacrilegious activities.

Several hours later...
The scene shifts in Peru, where Tagiru has arrived and emerged from the Digi-Quartz, and there the scene shows that Tagiru is now in the vicinity of Machu Pichu, and the teen glanced at his map where he realizes that his point of destination on where the second piece of the Armour Of God is just several miles ahead and that he has to climb a mountain in order to move to the next destination, and while he is tempted to summon Harpymon so he could get there faster, the teen opted to take a walk, and moved forward, unaware that a spy is watching him close by.
While walking, he came across some tourists and they noticed that Tagiru is still a minor yet they are astounded that he is traveling by himself and asked why and what is he going to do, and not wanting to give himself away he came up with a lie claiming that he is doing some "archaeological research", in which it fooled some of the tourists who believed him and they began to compliment Tagiru for his "educational dedication".
"Excuse me, boy..."
"Yes...?"
"Are you underage?"
"And alone...?"
"Ah..yes...I am..."
"What brings you here...?"
"Er...educational assignment...I plan to become an archaeologist when I enter college..."
"My...how dedicated..."
"Indeed..."
After the tourists leave, Tagiru leaves the scene as well as he intends to finish this assignment in one day, and again he is unaware that he is being followed, as the spy who is tailing the teen is among the "sources" from the secret cult, who are informed about Tagiru having captured the missing piece of the Armour Of God. The spy is instructed to follow Tagiru and see how he managed to get the missing piece and not engage him as the cult leader has plans as well as to find out Tagiru's identity.
About an hour later, Tagiru has arrived at the mountain that is blocking the route towards the destination he seeks, and not wanting to "cheat" his way by summoning his Digimons, Tagiru decided to climb up his way and get across, seeing this as a challenge though he wished he could have Gumdramon make a video of him climbing the mountain so as to show off as well as impress Taiki and Yuu on how "serious" he is in pursuing his intentions, so as they would praise him more.
"If Gumdramon were to make a video of me doing this...Taiki and Yuu are sure going to praise me a lot..."
As Tagiru climbs the mountain he gets a call from Harpymon via his X-Loader and asks if he wants some assistance seeing that the teen is doing something this dangerous, though Tagiru assured that he will be okay as this is part of his "learning experience" and this would help boost his self-confidence and impress Taiki and Yuu.
"Tagiru...do you need some assistance...?"
"No...I'm fine..."
"Are you sure...?"
"Yeah, I'm sure."
"But what you're doing is quite..."
"I'll be okay...no need to worry about me..."
"Really...?"
"Yes, really..."
About 30 minutes later Tagiru is now at the middle portion of the mountain and he is taking a break and is sipping a bottled water and rested for a few minutes before resuming his climbing, and as he began climbing up, he accidentally stepped on a portion of the mountain and it cracked open, causing a huge hole which the teen accidentally fell though and is sliding inside the mountains in a vertical way and he soon finds himself at the ground as well as being inside the mountain, and the teen brought out a flashlight to navigate his way around.
"Oh boy...sure is dark here...if Yuu were here with me he'll absolutely berate me for this..."
As Tagiru looked around, he realized the the inside of the mountain he fell into has a portion that resembled a cave and he is amazed that someone may have made this for centuries and noticed that this area hasn't been opened based on the dusts and appearances, suggesting that no one has ventured here for a long time and felt that he is the first to enter here and wondered if there are any treasure items here though he is sure that the other missing piece of the Armour Of God isn't here so he decided to keep on going, until he came across what appeared to be a small tomb-like grave located at the left side of the area and curiosity took over and began to approach the tomb-like object and touched what appeared to be a tombstone, but all of the sudden tribesmen began to appear and are brandishing their spears and are poised to attack the teen, and Tagiru is taken by surprise and backed away, accidentally grabbing the tombstone and causes the tomb to "fall apart".
"Uh-oh...whoa...!"
As the tribesmen are about to attack the teen, Tagiru quickly brought out his X-Loader and summoned Harpymon and Sagomon and told the two to chase the tribesmen away without hurting them, in which the Digimons nodded and uses their signature attacks to chase the attackers away, and by then the teen is safe but as he turn around, he sees that the tomb appeared to be "desecrated" but also notices an item and quickly took it, which appeared to e a rather large belt buckle in which it resembled a pair of doors, and seeing it was covered in dust and dirt, he realizes that this may be an ancient artifact and decided to take it with him, though Sagomon and Harpymon questioned their partner if this is alright or not.
"Wow...this may not be a missing piece of the Armour Of God...but this would surely be worth a lot if I sell this to an auction..."
"Wait, Tagiru..."
"Are you sure that you should be taking that...?"
"Uh, sure...why not?"
"As long as you know what you're doing..."
"What next?"
"Er...can you help me navigate our way out of here...?"
"Yes..."
"As you wish..."
Tagiru stated that it is okay, and asked his two partners to help him navigate his way out of the mountains and they did, in which they did and soon they found a way out and and are now at the other side of the mountains and are just several minutes away from the "hidden village" and as Tagiru glances at the map, he told Sagomon and Harpymon to search the certain areas where the missing piece might be, and so Harpymon began to fly and search while Sagomon and Tagiru did their part on foot, only to encounter some uncivilized tribesmen and are intending to use Tagiru as a sacrifice and there Sagomon began to defend his partner and fends off the tribesmen until Hrpymon arrive, having found the missing piece of the Armour of God - a shield - and using the Digi-Quartz, Tagiru and his two partners entered it to escape and within seconds the portal closed and the teen is saved.
By then, the spy arrived and noticed the "upheaval" yet there is no sign of Tagiru yet the spy, who can understand the tribesmen's language, overheard them and realized that the teen has already gotten hold of the other piece of the Armour Of God and leaves immediately to contact the secret cult about this fact.

Looks like Tagiru is going "international" again after getting the missing pieces from Africa and Peru, and he is now heading for another international country via the Digi-Quartz and Planemon, and with Gumdramon in for the ride, as he intends to meet with the curator to auction off the pieces to get his commission...
