Tagiru's Bizarre Adventure

After some life-threatening experiences he got in the recent arcs, in which Tagiru he goes INTERNATIONAL as he gets to play a paid "treasure hunter" in which things would get out of control, After Tagiru went to Africa, and then in Peru, he is now selling the aforementioned artifacts to an auction, and that means the end of this arc...however that where the REAL adventure starts after one of them gets kidnapped by the villains of this arc…
Ch. 23: Ōkushon to Abudakushon
The scene shows that Tagiru is sleeping on his bed, and he is surrounded by money, which are American Dollars which he got after being paid by the auction dealer after delivering the two artifacts that he got from Africa and Peru, and he is so happy that he is considering buying the things he wanted, and maybe go on a date with Nene at an expensive restaurant, which he hoped that it would be soon, as he has more than enough to spend.
However, he was slowly roused from his sleep after sensing a dark shadow covering his face, and when he opened his eyes, he is surprised to see what appeared to be a Digimon that is as big as a bus, which is initially resembling a golden lion, but has body parts that have the heads of other animals, such as a buffalo, dolphin, falcon, and chameleon. Tagiru blinked his eyes thinking he is dreaming, until he rubbed his eyes and opened them again.
"Huh? Am I dreaming...? or is that a Digimon...? Huh? What the...?"
By then, the lion-like Digimon opened its mouth and lunged forward, as if it is going to eat Tagiru alive, and the scene fades in darkness as you can hear Tagiru screaming.

The scene slowly lit up and you can see Tagiru sitting up fast and there he can be seen sweating a lot, his eyes wide open and it is soon revealed that he had a bad dream, and not only that, it was the same dream he had four nights ago, and right now he is inside a rented hotel in in Morocco, and there he stood up before he opened his bag where both the two artifacts - a shield and a sword - are covered in newspaper and another artifact which the teen felt that it was different, as it resembled a metallic belt buckle with the buckle resembling two doors, and wondered if this artifact is connected to the dream he had four nights ago.
"Is this thing really an artifact...? I wonder if this thing is connected to my dream I got recently..."
By then he saw the clock and realized that he has 30 minutes before heading to the auction show to meet with the foreigner whom he was commissioned to retrieve the two artifacts and saw he took a bath, dressed up and took his belongings before leaving the hotel room, where minutes later the foreigner whom Tagiru made a deal with is waiting at the lobby, and there the two talked and the foreigner, who is an auction representative, is overjoyed that Tagiru has gotten the items that he needed.
"Tagiru! Over here!"
"Sorry I'm late!"
"Do you have it?"
"Right here..."
"Splendid! Let's go!"
"You sure we get to split the commission?"
"You have my word!"
"Alright!"
By then the two left the hotel and head for the auction sale shop that is located downtown, yet a man whose face is covered by a newspaper he is holding, overheard the conversation and decided to follow the two, seemingly interested in the items that are to be auctioned off.

Half an hour later (30 minutes), the scene shifts to the auction sale at a building where the foreigner acts as Tagiru's representative to have both the shield and sword auctioned off, and you can see Tagiru hiding from the upper balcony area watching the scene below as the auction sale is now underway with the curator finally announcing the sale of the two artifacts and began to auction it with the starting price of $ 50,000.
"The two pieces of these so-called Armour of God...will be priced about 50,000!"
One of the prospective buyer is interested and raised his hand to buy it, and Tagiru's representative raised his hand and raises the price to $ 70,000, and there the curator announced the new price, and another prospect raised his hand to state that he will buy it, and Tagiru's representative raised his hand again to raise it to $ 90,000, which the two prospect were "defeated", as they couldn't afford the auction price and this allowed others to take advantage to raise the price in order to gain the advantage.
"Sir, 95,000!"
"Sir, 99,000!"
"Sir, 95,500!"
"Sir, 95,600!"
"Sir, 95,700!"
"Sir, 95,800!"
"Sir, 95,900!"
"Sir, 95,950!"
Tagiru smiled as he is pleased that other buyers are enticed to raise the bidding price so that he and his representative would get a higher commission pay and watches on as the bidders are constantly outbidding each other out until the auction price is raised to $ 100,000, and the other bidders finally gave up as they couldn't afford the price, and now Tagiru is now waiting for someone who has the guts to challenge the price as the curator makes an announcement seeing that there is no one else challenging the price.
"The items are priced to 100,000...okay...going once...going twice...none? Okay I declare that these items will be sold to..."
"Sir...500,000."
Tagiru blinked his eyes as he saw a beautiful European girl raising her hand and that she is willing to up the price as she announced that she is to buy the two auctioned items for $ 500,000, and the curator announced that the winning bidder gets the two items and sold it to the girl. Tagiru was surprised, yet pleased that he got a buyer and within minutes both he the the foreigner got their commission pay and bade each other goodbye.
The man who followed Tagiru saw this and left immediately to contact someone to inform him of the events that transpired.

Two days later, the scene shifts in Kyoto, where Yuu and Taiki are at Yuu's apartment where they are waiting for Tagiru to arrive, and soon a Digi-quartz appeared and Tagiru emerged, carrying a bag full of souvenirs which he gave to his two friends and by then Tagiru related to them his adventures and how things went on at the auction and Yuu couldn't believe what he just heard.
"Taiki! Yuu!"
"Tagiru!"
"Welcome back..."
"...eh? Seriously?"
"That's some adventure you got some..."
"Yeah...and I managed to sell them to a high price...and yet some European beauty upped the price further...and that's it!"
"By the way, Nene will be performing there..."
"What, really?"
"Yuu, you didn't have to tell him..."
By then the topic shifted as Yuu mentioned that Nene is going to Morocco where her talent agency chose her to represent Hong Kong as they are having a mall tour to promote Moroccan Idol, which is the counterpart to American Idol and Tagiru appeared to be dismayed that he just arrived and is looking forward to see her but Taiki told Tagiru that he can meet her again, which he sighed in defeat.

At a hidden lair, the secret religious cult are convening after their spy informed them that a Japanese teenager have sold the two auctioned items, which is revealed to be the missing two pieces of the rumored Armour Of God, and one of the cult members, a genius hacker, managed to hack Facebook and learned of Tagiru's identity, as well as who his friends are, in which one of the cult members are speaking with their leader, identified only as the "Grand Wizard", and they, who are all of European descent, are listening to their fellow cult member's suggestions.
"As you see...the two pieces of the Armour of god were retrieved by a Japanese boy...and then sold it to an auction...here he is..."
"Such a youngster..."
"Yet he beat us to it..."
"Fear not, my fellow members...we still have a chance to get them...and that boy will do it for us..."
"Really? How?"
"Thanks to our member who is a hacker...I managed to find out his identity..."
"What good will that do?"
"Through this Tagiru, I figure out who his friends are...and which target we will use to gain his services..."
"Show us."
Learning of Nene Amano's identity, as well as learning that she will be visiting a mall at the said date, wherein a mall tour is to take place, the cult members enact a plan where they would stage a vicious plan in a bid to get Tagiru's attention so he will be compelled to do what they want him to do in order to achieve their diabolical goals.

A week later, at a Moroccan mall, Nene and her entourage party arrived and within 30 minutes she began her mall tour where idol fans flocked and are enjoying her song number despite her singing her songs in Japanese, as J-Pop culture is starting to influence the teenagers and other fans alike, however, due to her outfit during the performance, she is unable to bring her X_loader with her because there are no pockets where she can hide it and instead puts it in her bag which is located at her van.
As the mall tour performance is ongoing, the cult members managed to sneak in by disguising themselves as janitor after secretly killing the real ones and were able to sneak in high-powered ammunition and are slowly convening at the entertainment area, which their numbers are high (about 40 of them), and as soon as they see that there are no obstacles, and seeing Nene on sight, one of the scout team gave the signal and they slowly put on their druid suits and brought out their weapons and began to open fire, shooting and killing scores of people, be it man or woman, elderly or children.
Pandemonium struck and a stampede broke out yet the cult members forced their way through and saw Nene being escorted by her security team and they began to head toward their target, shooting anyone that came in their way. Nene became concerned and tries to sneak out of sight in order to get to her van and retrieve her X-Loader to get help, but as she is about to get far, she is intercepted by other cult members and disabled her with a hard slap and she is knocked out, where they placed her in a huge sack and carried her away.
Security guards arrived and tries to engage with the hitmen but were promptly shot to death and continued to shoot indiscriminately while others were spared as they crouched on the floor, and within a few minutes the cult members boarded their van and speeds of, where ironically, a one of the survivors hailed a police car and pointed out to the escaping van and told the cops what happened.
This soon resulted in a chase as the police car began pursuing the van, but the van's compartment door opened and one of the cult members brought out an RPG and opened fire at the police car just as one of the cops is about to radio for assistance, and the RPG shot destroyed the police car and killed the two cops on board, and the van safely escaped to head for their hideout.

A few days later, Yuu Amano arrived at home after school, and as he is about to get some rest, he picked up his X-Loader, which he didn't brought with him in the past few days, and there he is about to open it to talk to his Digimon partners when a mailman arrived and delivered a mail, and when Yuu accepted it, he saw the address where it was sent from Morocco, where he recalled that Nene had a mall tour there, and when he opened it, he is surprised to see that her bracelet, which Yuu gave her before, was there along with a letter, and when he read it, he stared wide-eyed and slowly panicked, and by then Damemon appeared on the X-Loader and told him that Mervamon told him that she hasn't heard anything from Nene.
To make matters worse, he opened the TV and tuned in to CNN, where a footage of the Morocco Mall siege is caught, and it showed Nene being abducted by men in druid suits, and there Yuu realized what the letter meant, and he took his cellphone to contact Taiki and Tagiru in order to seek their aid to save Nene.

The die has been cast and it lookes like Tagiru is about to INTERNATIONAL again as Yuu is going to get Tagiru's help in rescuing Nene after being abducted by the enigmatic cult, which the rescue mission will commence in the upcoming chapters, though they will have to figure out what their demands are...
In the opening sequence, Tagiru is said to have a recurring dream about a chimeric Digimon appearing before him, and that scenario will be explained after this arc ends...
