A/N:
Lucy, I'm home! Well technically I'm back not home but I'm at my home. Am I rambling? Sorry. So any ways i've come back withchapter 11. Last time I updated wasn't a chapter and I'm probably going to delete it later. Well since I already did the thank you last a/n I'll just…
Dauntless: GET ON WITH THE CHAPTER!
Me: sorrryyyy.
TOBIAS POV:
I wake up with a crook in my neck. Once again I end up sleeping in the hospital chair in Tris's room. Not that I'm complaining; because I'm willing to do anything for Tris, but this is really uncomfortable. Luckily today they are going to discharge Tris. After 2 days of poking and prodding at Tris they just couldn't find anything wrong with Tris and the twins. The funny thing is that they never did an ultra sound. Besides the small concussion Tris was healthy as ever. I hear the ruffling of sheets which means Tris is awake. She opens one I eye first than the other one.
"Hi sunshine," I say as I smile at her.
She opens her mouth to reply but she quickly closes it. Her face scrunches in a grimace and I know what's going on. I pick up the bucket that the nurses put by her bed and hand it to her. She's been having morning sickness every morning since she's been in the hospital. Actually she's been throwing up since we've learned about the twins. I glance up at her to see her clutching the bucket like it's her life line. Even though I am aware of what's happening I can't help but feel bad for her, but I love the twins. It's funny how you can love something so much even when you haven't seen it yet. I think I'm in love with the idea of the twins and a happy family with Tris.
When she's done she sets the bucket back down and flops back on her pillow. I pick up the bucket so I can go empty it in the bathroom. I also fill up a glass of water for her. When I hand it to her she gives me a weak smile and chugs the water down, happy to get rid of the bile taste in her mouth.
"Are you glad you get to go home," I ask already knowing the answer.
"God yes, I've been in this stupid place for too long," she says. "But one good thing has happened while I was in this sterile prison,"
I quirk an eyebrow. "Really what's that," I ask her.
"I thought of a baby name well quite a few baby names, but there's one I really like,"
"Let me hear them," I respond.
"Ok, um Ryker Dillon, Conner Haden, and Oblivion for a girl," she says with a smile.
"Oblivion, I love that," I smile back at her. "Imagine our little Oblivion." I never told her this but I've always wanted a girl. A boy would be awesome, any child with Tris would be awesome, but I really want a little girl. I want her to have all her mommy's features, especially those beautiful blue-gray eyes that you can get lost in forever. I can imagine holding her in my arms rocking her back and forth while staring into those eyes, forgetting everything else around us.
"Tobias," Tris says waking me out of my fantasy, "What are you thinking about."
"How I always wanted a girl and that she could have your beautiful eyes I can get lost in them forever," I respond. "Oblivion was the one you really liked wasn't it,"
"Yeah, lucky for you they said I could into an ultrasound and they might be able to find out the genders, if you want," she says.
"Yes, I want, I want it so bad," I say desperation in my voice.
"Okay, okay slow you're horses, I already accepted and they should be here," her voice is cut off by her hospital door opening. Dr. Ellie, another doctor that we met her, enters the room.
"Look who's awake," she says happily. She seems really nice for a dauntless but her green highlights beg to differ. "Are you ready to do the ultrasound," she asks. Tris nods her head. "Alright, here we go."
TRIS POV:
Dr. Ellie reaches for the machine in the corner of my room. It resembles the same machine that Dr. Lopez used on me the first time I found out about the twins. She lifts up my shirt and spreads the ultrasound gel on my stomach and moves the wand around for a couple of seconds. I still see little gray blobs like I did a couple weeks ago.
"Well, well what do we have here," she says as she continues to move the wand around. A smile starts to appear on her face, it's a knowing smile. "Looks like daddy's going to have a girl."
Girl? A daughter, like Tobias wanted. We can have our own little oblivion. Ours.
"And….
Alright Tobias is going to get himself a baby girl. You still have time to put in your gender. You have from now to Sunday to put in your gender. I'm going to open a poll on my site and this time I well remember to click yes on post on profile. Boy or girl? You get to decide. I'm still taking names also. Sorry that this is a short chapter but today is school das but tomorrow I get to go to alley cats on a field trip! Woo! Ok QOTD: how do you want me to write Tris's pregnancy? Like each chapter is another month or like I'm doing it now, day by day by day.
Peace&Love~MSC
