What's up peoples, this chapter is Thalia leaving the Hunters of Artemis by the way all the characters are 6 years older so the story has moved on quite a bit. I don't own Percy Jackson because if I did I wouldn't be writing this. Since im back at school chapter updates might be weeks apart now. R&R. Thalia

I was sitting in Percy's apartment kitchen with Percy, Nico, Frank and Hazel. I looked over at Frank and Hazel and could sense some awkward tension, obviously they hadn't seen each other in a while, probably not since the break up. I know for a fact that I would never break up with Nico. I had to go through a lot, just to start dating him. I remember trying to get people on my side.

Flashback from 6 years ago

As the meeting adjourned, between Olympians and demi-gods, I tried to speak to my father. "Father, I have a favour to ask" I called out, trying to catch his eye.

"Thalia, you being here alone is against the rules so please leave." Zeus said.

"Father I wish to leave the hunters because I have fallen for the charms of a boy." I said eyes downcast "and with your permission I would like help to convince lady Artemis to allow me to leave the hunters."

"Who is this boy, Thalia? I would like to see if he is worth leaving the hunters for." asked Zeus his surprise, curiosity and slight annoyance literally crackling around him.

"It is Nico di Angelo son of Hades" I said, eyes downcast waiting for his inevitable reaction.

"Thalia, this is most disconcerting." Zeus said in a low voice "A daughter of Zeus and a son of Hades dating, not only might it drag every monster in a 50 mile radius of you two towards each other because of the inordinate amount of time you will be spending together, but it will also anger the goddess, Artemis and that's the last thing we need after the battle that has taken place"

"Father I admit yes if we did start to date it cold end disastrously but it wouldn't be more trouble than I'm used to." I said trying to win Zeus over. (Man having Piper's charm speak would be useful right now…)

"And when I spend time with perce we still admit a powerful aura, if it helps. I'll also get Aphrodite to try and convince her as well" I continued, my speech sped up until I was stammering in every sentence.

My father's brow furrowed in thought. He sighed"If you had asked this any other time I would have said no, but because of your work with the hunters trying to defeat Gaia you deserve a reward. If this is what you choose than so be it"

I can't believe my luck! I only just managed to stop myself from whooping and punching the air with my fist. I settled with a smile and thanked my father. Now it was time to convince Aphrodite. I looked high and low all over Olympus for her and find her near a crystal clear pool in a bikini sun bathing. I walked over. "Lady Aphrodite sorry for interrupting you but I have a favour to ask."

"Oh, yes the Nico thing sure I will help you convince Artemis." She said as she sat up smiling.

I'm surprised she knew. "How did you know that was what I was going to ask?" I asked, a startled look on my face.

"Honey, who do you think decided that you two should go out?" She asks, a sly smile plastered on her face. She stands and clicks her fingers and her clothes instantly change from a Bikini to A pearly white dress. "Convincing her will be no easy task I must tell you. If she does consent she will test you, are you sure your ready?"

I didn't hesitate to answer. "I'm ready."

Present

I would often think about that day that changed my life or at least my relationship life. I looked over to Nico and saw he was fixated on catching up with Frank and Percy. There is a knock at the door.

"Who is it?" Percy yelled.

"Who do you think seaweed brain" called back a familiar voice. Percy caught his breath and opened the door to the woman he loves and broke his heart.

Annabeth was standing in the door with Connor Stoll's arm around her waist.

A.N Guys sorry it's short but you have no clue what I've been doing and if it wasn't like this than you may have to wait longer. Any way I won't show you her trying to convince Artemis because that is going to be part of a novelette I will write once Lightning and Water is done it will be about what Nico and Thalia have to do to be together.
