Hey guys I promised another 2 chapters well here is one of them. I have noticed a lack of reviews for the last chapter, but I don't mind because I have over 2000 views I just wish for more reviews that's all. But anyway R&R and let's go.
Leo
As I was sleeping against the side of the cage I awoke to someone prodding my side. I rolled over groaning and said "Jason stop worrying I am not dead so sod off". I open my eyes to see Calypso staring at me. I sit up instantly "Calypso! What are you doing here!?" The girl who woke me up quickly crawls back. Upon closer inspection he realized that this girl's hair was a darker brown and her skin was more tanned. My shock quickly turned to disappointment and I started to lie back down.
"Wait" the girl says "Who's Calypso?"
"A girl I can't save" I say remembering my short time with her. "She lived on an island the gods put her on and she can't leave" I tell her.
"Might that island be Ogygia?" she asks. She has an accent British I think
"How the hell do you know that" I say confused on this was possible.
"I read it in a book once. She was a Titan's and for this the gods put her in Ogygia to stay there eternally right" She says. She leans against the bars and put's her chin on her knees. I can see her eyes are green in the moonlight.
"Who are you" I ask intrigued with this girl.
"Oh sorry I didn't introduce my names Catrin Rhys, (A/N: pronunciation Rees) I am from Wales and I am a daughter of Eros" She says giving me a smile. Here teeth are fully white.
"Well nice to meet you Catrin, I'm Leo Valdez son of Hephaestus" I say extending my hand which she shakes.
"Sorry about waking you it's just you have been asleep for about a day I was worried you were dead or something so I came over and checked" She says "By the way you drool"
"Huh funny Annabeth said something to Percy like that when they met" I said quietly.
"What" she says quizzically "I didn't hear that"
"Ah just thinking out loud… wait… It's a miracle… I'M THINKING!" I yell punching the air with my fist. She giggles and Jason sticks his head up.
"Yes it's a fucking miracle now some of us want to sleep so if you wouldn't mind keep it down for Zeus's sake" He says through his teeth.
"Sorry buddy, love you too" I say in a jokey way. He grumbles something about zapping my arse and lies back down.
"Well now that you have successfully pissed him off I take it you two are friends" She says trying her best to stop laughing.
"Yeah we kinda went on life defying quests to save the world together that brings anyone together" I say, thinking back to all the stuff we've been through. We spent the rest of the night talking and when I fell back asleep eventually I was smiling.
Nico
As Thalia and I were laying out our stuff on our bed we remembered what was advised to bring so we went through the checklist "Do you think Annabeth went overboard with this list" I ask going over the extensive list.
"Well she did only ask us to bring 10 sets of clothes, 2 sleeping bags one as main one as backup, 100 drachmas, cooking equipment, 3 celestial bronze or imperial gold knives…"
I continue "… 2 ranged celestial bronze or imperial gold firing weapons, 2 swords, a spear, fishing net, duct tape, first aid kit, 10lbz of ambrosia, 3 bottles of nectar…"
She carries on"… a tent, something for Leo to fiddle with when we next see him, sugar cubes for blackjack, 30 feet of rope, 2 pairs of trainers, a set of wellington boots, a shield, 50 paperclips, 300 post it notes …"
"… and last of all some light reading material" I finish, I take another look at some of the items on the list "Most of this stuff makes sense but what do we need post it notes for especially 300 of them and paperclips, why?" I ask Thalia pointing at said items.
She sighs "Since she has been to London she has become more eccentric how does Connor cope?" She asks, letting out another sigh she says "well its Annabeth best not to question she knows what she's doing"
"But still" I say "post it notes, really"
"Still thank gods Hermes gave us all these backpacks after we saved the Olympians arses" Thalia says as she starts putting stuff in the backpacks. The backpacks were enchanted to have 15x the space of a backpack and a 15th of the weight inside. It was like carrying a bag full of books.
About an hour later we had managed to put it all in and were down stairs watching telly downstairs. We were just trying to relax for the last time before this mission. We were going blind without a prophecy until we get to Rachel's place. Luckily it wasn't much of a detour but it still increased the amount of time it would take to get to Leo and Jason.
As it reached about 11 it started thinking about what was at stake if we failed. Thalia looked at me dead I the eyes and scooted closer into my body and said quietly "You should stop worrying about the mission it won't help"
"How the Hades did you know that's what I was thinking" I say
"Easy enough guess I mean who wouldn't" She says eyes focused on the telly
"You don't seemed worried"
"I am good at hiding my thoughts, back in the hunters if I showed doubt it would put the others off but I'm worried about us and what will happen in this mission, I mean will we die, will only one of us die, will we not save Leo and Jason…" She starts rambling but to stop her I just put a finger gently to her lips
"Shhh" I gently say "it's gonna be okay we will live but for now let's do something to take our minds off it"
"I just thought of something" Thalia says with a smirk
"Like what a board game, a book, cards…" I start asking but am quickly silenced by Thalia passionately kissing me and her hands wrapped around me. As her hands press against my back I feel a tingle up my spine and I realize what she talking about. I smirk and say "Now I know what you were talking about"
"You were always slow on the uptake Death breath" She says still smirking, and pushes me on my back
