Sorry for taking another year to upload my fanfiction I've been busy with school and other things and I've never had time to write or to upload this chapter. I do not own Kingdom Hearts and I hope you enjoy this chapter.

They were facing each, their faces mere inches away. She has never been in contacted with any other human except the servants; she's nervous, her hands shaking and the sudden urge to run. Her feet won't move, her thoughts racing and her mouth dry. He reaches to cup her face but her instincts kick in and she makes a run for it. He chases after her and catches up. She trips on a tree branch and stops. He comes closer to her and this time she doesn't try to back away.

"Princess, I'm not trying to hurt you, I just want to talk to you."

"What do you want from me?" She moves back a bit but he comes closer to her.

"I have one question for you? What are you doing here? I've never seen you here on my nighty walks."

She ponders on if she should tell him this information. She just met him but his eyes speak honesty.

"I escaped from my palace to see how the outside world is like. I have no experience of anything that goes on outside my home, and I wanted to explore a bit."

He ponders for a little and smirks at her. "It's understandable that she wanted to explore, she's been locked in that palace for the past 17 years of her life. She's bleeding though, I should take her back to the palace."

"Princess, do you mind accompanying me back to my palace? You're hurt, and you need someone to check those wounds out." He sticks his hand out but she stands up by herself. She wobbles a bit, but continues walking. She grows weaker each step she takes and eventually she faints. The prince not knowing what to do runs to his palace, he picks up one of the blankets in his room and runs quickly as fast as he can to get to her soon. He scoops her up in the towel and carries her to his palace. "She's a bit heavy." He thought but he wanted to make sure he got home quickly enough so she'll be okay. He finally reached to the palace after minutes of trudging, walking into a guest room and laying her down on the bed. He goes and asks his servants to go and make sure the room is cold enough for her and for Kairi to heal her wounds. She tends to the sleeping maiden and the room eventually becomes cold. She leaves and he sits in one of the chairs in the room with a blanket and stays with her for the night. He wasn't planning to sleep that night because he wanted to make sure his princess was fine.

"Goodnight Namine and sweet dreams."

And even though he couldn't see it there was a hint of a smile on the young girl's face.

I hope you liked this chapter.
