My Coltfriend is a Doctor
Chapter 6: Rumble
Ditzy landed outside FOOD. Her dress was light, sparkly orange, with silver accents. Berry Punch was watching Dinky, and she had just bathed in a whole tub of chocolate & lavender perfume.
This was her night to impress The Doctor.
With a deep breathe and her head held eye, she strolled in, unaware she was being watched by a pair of eyes, that were sitting in the street-lamps.
To Ditzy's disgust, Vinyl was already inside, the off-white floozy was practically wiggling her flank in The Doc's face, who was in a deep conversation with Lyra and Thunderlane.
Ditzy looked at Vinyl's rump with envy. Why did Celestia make it so bouncy and round. Ditzy used to have one like that, but then she had a foal. She trotted over to the table. All the seats next to The Doctor were taken.
"Hey Derpy! The Doctor called out as he spotted her coming towards them. "Come on, nearly everyone's here."
He waved his hoof invitingly. Ditzy smiled at this, and sped over to the table. Reluctantly, she took a sit opposite him, rather than beside him. Vinyl noticed this and grinned smugly, scootching up to the Doctor even more.
"Wow, Derpy." Vinyl said in a tone that was impossible to tell if it was sarcasm or genuine. "That dress in beautiful."
"Thanks." Ditzy giggled, catching on to Vinyl's game. "It's just something me and a friend picked out. But I am sorry about yours. But you've gotta be careful when washing your stuff, or it wouldn't have shrunk like it did."
Thunderlane snickered as Vinyl blushed, and looked at the vest she was wearing. It was extremely snug.
Before any argument could rear it's ugly head, Trixie walked in, sashaying like she was getting paid by the hour.
"Excuse my tardiness everypony." Trixie said with an apologetic tone. "The Late and Apologetic TRIXIE was merely held up."
"Well, at least we're all here." The Doctor said with a smile. "Let's order."
Everypony picked up their menus. The Doctor put his down almost instantly. "Steak and Chips. Yep, that's my choice."
Vinyl and Ditzy shuddered. As much as the Doctor was the perfect stallion for them, he wasn't without faults. His omnivorism, for example, was one.
He said were he came from it was perfectly normal to eat animals. It just served to show how the warped the Trottish could be some times.
Vinyl gulped. 'When in Canterlot', she thought, 'When in Canterlot'.
"Ooh, I think I'll try that." Vinyl said, with an uneasy smile. 'Well, if the Doctor can stomach it, it can't be that bad?'
Ditzy gulped. She could never even think about eating something that used to be alive. Ponies were born vegetarians, nopony had eaten meat since the famines. Except those "Retro-Omnivores" and those poor starving ponies in the mountains or in Trip-Trafrica.
"I think I'll just have the carrot soup." Ditzy blushed, putting down the menu. "Maybe with the croutons."
"And I'll take the fried mushrooms." Trixie said. "Mushroom's do wonders for Trixie's circulation."
The waiter came by and everybody gave their orders. The waiter colt asked if griffins or minotaur's were going to join their party, but The Doctor and Lyra loudly proclaimed their omnivorism. The waiter gave them a disgusted stare, muttering the word "pagan" and trotted off to the kitchen to give the chef's their order.
All the while, a pair of eyes watched from the electric chandelier.
Hurricane Fighter stared at the six elements of the universe through the electricity. He was floating in his realm, a special place made of lightning and electricity, never staying still, always flowing. it was a special place just for him. Not even other Alicorns could access this place.
"Why do you waste your time on him? He'll never care about you as much as I do?" Hurricane Fighter wondered aloud. "I'd never let anyone make you cry. I'd find anyone who ever hurt you….and FRY THERE BRAINS OUT! I'd protect you from the cruel, and uncaring world, like the precious flower you are, Derpy. I'd look after Dinky like she was my own flesh and blood…or…as if she was my…white noise and crackles…"
A smile crept up on Hurricane Fighter's muzzle as a marvellous idea entered his head.
"That's it." He smiled. "I'll turn Derpy and Dinky into Thunderhorses. Then we'ed be perfect for each other. Never dying, all powerful. We'd be together forever."
He refocus his vision back through the electric chandelier, and saw Ditzy staring dreamily at the Doctor. Hurricane Fighter's eyes flashed red.
"And, get ready to try and heal thyself, my good physician. For you will soon see how powerful a blackout can be."
[Author's Note]
I know this chapter's been really short. But I've actually only got out of hospital very recently. My boyfriend and I encountered a small medical contition that unfortunately took up most of my time. I'll give you all a hint. It's depriving me of any and all sleep and it rhymes with 'maybe'.
