Buttler approached Betrayus, who was sitting in his throne, watching the lot of Pac Worlders go by on one of his slug cams.
"What is it now, Buttler?" Betrayus asked, being impatient.
"My lord, a legendary stone called the Kernakone has been discovered." Buttler told him.
Betrayus stood up, turning his ghostly body. "Really? Tell me more."
"We heard that it has the power to grant any desire." Buttler mentioned.
Betrayus grinned, getting an idea as he put his metal fingers up to his head. "Hmm...any desire?"
Buttler nodded. "Yes, my lord. You only need to have it with you, and it will grant what you desire most."
Betrayus got an idea as his ghostly eyes lit up. "A stone that can grant any desire? That sounds like the perfect way for me to get my body back, and finally get my revenge on that blasted lemon ball!" he claimed. "I must have this Kernakone! Tell me where it is!"
"Well my lord, it was somewhere in Sweet Mountain, but as of late, a cute, humanoid mushroom girl has gotten her hands on it." Buttler explained.
"I don't care who has it!" Betrayus stated. "That stone will be mine, one way or another!"
Dr. Buttocks appeared. "Yes! Getting zis stone will be the perfect vay for us to get our bodies back, destroy ze Pac Man, und much more!"
Betrayus put his fingers together. "Yes. Yes it will!" he stated, agreeing with Dr. Buttocks. "Send my whole army of ghosts to search for this Kernakone! And make sure that Pac Man and his friends don't know about this, or else he will foil my plans, like always!"
"Yes my lord." Buttler complied.
While Betrayus went to tell his ghost army about the Kernakone, the Ghost Gang watched him and the two Butthead ghosts following him go do so.
"A stone that can grant any desire? Sounds intriguing." Clyde mentioned.
"Ah who cares! We can't let Betrayus get away with that! Who knows how powerful he could become!" Inky stated.
"Getting his body back will only be just the beginning!" Pinky added. "Who knows what he could do! He could take out poor Paccums in an instant!" she exclaimed, putting her hands together in worry.
"Yeah, but we too could get our bodies back!" Blinky pointed out. "It won't be so bad!"
Inky slapped Blinky. "You numbskull! Which sounds ironic since we don't have skulls, he's going to destroy Pac Man and take over Pac World! He could even take over the entire Pac Universe!"
"We need to warn Pac Man!" Clyde stated. "Before Betrayus finds the Kernakone, or worse, before this fanfic loses touch with its comic induced state of being!"
