A/N: Here is the chapter where we meet the mysterious doctor! love you all :*

It wasn't even dinner yet (we'd only eaten lunch about 2 hours ago) but Dr. Smith already had the cook preparing tacos.

"It might be a late night and we wont have time for a sit down dinner later." was Dr. Smith's explaination.

Dr. Smith sat at the head of the table, not eating, just watching us. Five bodyguards stood all around the room, also watching us.

'This hasn't happened in awhile.. Who is this doctor..?'

I could tell all of us were thinking about this due to the fact that Tobias and I had only eaten 5 wraps each and Daire had only eaten 3. Cato had eaten 9 which was a small amount for him.

"Do any of you want dessert? We have cheese cake" Dr. Smith asked. All of us shook our heads 'no'.

"Ellen, you shouldn't even ask. Emily Jo only eats her mum's cheese cake." A female voice said from the door. Everyone looked up except me. I reconized that voice. In my head I could clearly see the person it belonged to. That person had taken care of me when my mum and dad were busy. The person that my mum went to with any pregnancy question or any illness question she'd ever had.

"What the hell!?" Daire exclaimed.

Tobias began to choke on his food.

Cato was the only one who didn't know who this doctor was.

I turned slowly in my chair to face the door.

'She looks exactly the same'

Her blonde hair was pulled back off her face but her blue eyes matched mine. They also stared right at me.

"Hello darling, so glad to see you. How's your mum and that stupid mutt she married?" The lady tilted her head, waiting for a reaction.

I didn't respond. I was too busy trying to slow my heartbeat. I could still hear Tobias across the table from me, trying to clear his throat of the food. Daire was looking back and forth from where she sat beside me to the doctor at the door. Cato was still really confused.

"Will one of you please tell me what the hell is going on?" He bursted out.

"Yes Emily Jo, tell your friends who I am to you." the doctor replied, her eyes full of a disgust that I couldn't understand. All I could feel was hate.

"Cato this is my aunt Lauren. She's our new doctor." I said through gritted teeth.

Cato's reaction came through a dropped draw.

'Now he has nothing to say..'

"Come now, that's no way to introduce your loving aunt. You should be happy that I'm here to help fix you," Aunt Lauren turned her head to look behind her, "ah here's the rest of my team."

About 10 people filled the door behind her. My eyes started to fill with tears. I felt so betrayed.

I quickly stood up.

"Now Emily Jo, learn to control your emotions. Someone might try and put you in a lab or something."

I ran for the door that connects the kitchen to the dining room. When I saw no one trying to block my way, I kept running straight for my room.

I slammed the door and threw myself back first on the bed.

'How could she betray our family like this? I thought she got out of this whole life?!'

I heard the door open and I stiffened.

"Em? Em, are you okay?" Daire's voice drifted into the room.

"Why the hell would I be okay Daire?" I sat up and looked at her, "my aunt who told us she was out of this frigging life for like twenty years is suddenly here and it was like the White Witch took over her," I felt a tear slip down my cheek, "She betrayed us. Again."

Daire came over and sat against the pillows with me.

"Em, I'm not going to say anything that makes what she did any better. She is twisted. You know she's gonna try and get a reaction out of you. Just try not to give it to her." I just nodded and wiped away my tears.

"Can we just sit up here and talk? We haven't done that in a while."

"Sure," Daire dropped her head onto my shoulder, "how are things with you and Tobias?"

For the next few hours we talked until both of us fell asleep.
