Chapter 4

The next day is a Saturday and in Emma and Henry's apartment, the mother and son are sitting at the table eating breakfast.

"So kid, what do you wanna do today?"

"Can we just like, stay in, what some movies?"

"I thought you'd say that"

"I don't get it"

"I mean, it's a good thing that I bought popcorn then isn't it? Now go on, go pick a movie"

Henry then runs over to the box where they keep their DVD's and Emma gets up, about to wash the dishes when she notices a scrunched up piece of paper on the floor under the table, she bends down to pick it up, unfolds it and reads:

If you discover the truth, you'll find me at the River in the East.

"Uggh!" says Emma in despair before throwing the paper away.

"What was that mom?"

"Nothing, so you picked a movie?"

Meanwhile onboard the Jolly Roger on the East River Hook is walking the deck of his ship when Tinkerbelle comes up from below deck.

"She'll come, don't worry, so stop with the pacing" says the fairy.

"You didn't see her Tink, she was incredulous, didn't believe a word I said".

"I know, you said, but remember what Snow and the Prince told us"

A few days earlier in the enchanted forest, Snow, Charming, Hook and Tink are in the royal couple's chamber.

"You two are the only chance we have of getting rid of that monster"

"What do you expect us to do?" exclaims Tink.

"We expect you to go back to the Land Without Magic and bring back the Saviour"

"Excuse me, did I just here you right, you want us to go to YOUR daughter and bring her here!"

"Henry too"

Hook and Tink just stay silent, they look at each other in a state of shock and then they look back at Snow and Charming.

"Hook, listen, as much as we would love to fetch Emma ourselves, and believe me, we would, someone needs to amass and army, that'd be us" explains Charming.

"Just bring us our family, please, we trust you"

"We'll bring them back, we promise"

"Thank you, before you go, you're probably gonna need this"

Snow then reaches behind her and from the table she picks up the storybook and gives it to Hook.

"Is this the famous book?"

"Yes, somehow, it managed to survive the trip back here, new pages have been added, hopefully they will trigger something in their minds".

"The hardest person whose memories you have to make return will be Emma, so you have to get this book to Henry, he will convince of all of this"

"Are you sure?" asks Tink.

"Yes, after all, he's done it before"

Back on the Jolly Roger in the present day, Hook says to Tink "Yes, yes, I do remember that conversation, thank you Tink".

"You planted the seed, you have to let nature take its course"

"How can I, when a plague is ravaging the land?"

"There is something we can try?"

"What?"

"Snow said that it's Henry we have to convince first, right?"

"Yes"

"Well then, tonight, when he's sleeping, I'll appear to him in a dream and plant the idea that he has to read the book"

"Do you think it will work?"

"It has to, if they're ever going to help stop her"
