A/N: Yeah, yeah I know I said I would never update this story and it would forever be a one-shot but I decided to add another chapter :).

I think I forgot this last time so...

I DO NOT OWN OR CLAIM TO OWN ANY OF THE CHARACTERS USED IN THIS STORY.

It was a sunny afternoon in Italy, almost as bright as the character who personified it. The said character was going to visit his German boy friend for the first time in at least a month, work had just got in the way. Italy smiles to himself, grabbing his phone as he walked out of his villa, glad he had worn a thin white shirt, beige shorts and a pair of sandals to match. He climbed into his cherry red Ferrari and set his phone on the dash bpard, humming softly before starting the car, loving the way it purred like a wild cat. As the copper haired Italian waved to the couple sunbathing in the garden next door, he reversed out of his drive way and headed towards the airport. Little did anybody notice the storm clouds in the distance...

Italy laughed as the air conditioning whipped his hair around the car, the music from his radio adding to his happiness. Suddenly, the sharp sound of his ringtone pierced through the sounds of the car, causing the driving to look around for it. Spotting it on the other side of the dash board, Italy reached a tanned, feminine hand out towards it, his eyes leaving the road for a second.

That second was all fate needed. In that one second, fate changed the world. Italy's honey eyes widened in horror as he looked out of the driver's side window, his beautiful eyes reflecting the lorry as it smashed into his side. Nobody could recall what happened next but when everyone got their senses back, the red Ferrari was already smashed by numerous other cars. People got out of their cars and they quickly followed the trail of blood leading to the car crushed against the side of a building. Some of the men slowly started to try and put it back the right way. "S-stop! S-something is in my side! Y-your pushing it further!" They immediately put the car back the way it was, afraid on hurting the poor Italian trapped inside. A tall brunette man keeled by the smashed window. "Hey, I'm going to reach out to you okay? And your going to grab my hand." He heard a soft yes in reply before he slowly reached his hand into the car. He immediately pulled his hand back when he touched something warm and sticky, only to find it covered in blood. "SOMEBODY CALL AN AMBULANCE WHILE THE REST OF YOU HELP ME GET HIM OUT!" More people rushed over and started pulling at the passenger door, desperate to get it off to save the person the ambulance arrived the paramedics were quick to stable Italy before getting him into the ambulance and to the hospital. The poor copper haired man was immediately rushed into surgery to see if they could stop him from bleeding.

Germany sighed softly as he held his boyfriend's hand, rubbing the back of it with his thumb. He wished for some miracle to happen, anything so his darling could stay. Germany closed his eyes as the doctor's words forced themselves to the front of his mind. 'If we leave the glass in his lungs, he will die in a few hours but if we take them out, he will die instantly. I'm sorry...' He opened his eyes to find he was crying. He didn't care. The tall German let himself cry. Let himself be weak in front of the one he loved. He opened his eyes in surprise, feeling a cold hand wiping his tears away. "Liebe...jour avake!" He covered his lover's hand with his own, sharing the warmth. "D-does this mean we can go home?" Italy asked, his usually perky voice was weak and broken. Germany took in a sharp breath and looked at the floor. How could he tell this Italian beauty that he was going to die? "Ve~ I'm not going home...am I Luddy?" Germany shook his head, still unable to look at his love. "Nein liebe, not zhis time..." He was surprised to see his beautiful darling smiling softly. "It's okay Luddy. Ve~ I understand" Italy took Ludwig's hand in his own, making more tears fall down his face. "Oh! Please don't cry Luddy...I don't want the last thing I see being you crying..." Germany quickly wiped his tears away. "I don't vant to say gute bye..." Italy kissed his nose "Ve~ then say hello..." He smiled, earning a sad smile in return. "H-Hallo liebe." Italy lay back against his pillows, watching as storm clouds slowly started blocking out the sun "Ciao Luddy. Ti amo ve~" Then after those words were uttered, the heavens opened and the skies began releasing the tears of the world. Germany let out a sob as he leaned forward, closing Italy's eyes then kissing each of his eye lids.

"Sleep vell mein engel, ich liebe dich."

No matter how long goes by,

Germany will never say goodbye.

Even though he and Italy are apart,

They will never leave each other's heart.

I don't really know what to say except I wrote the poem myself and if you guys leave nice reviews, I will add a chapter on what happened to Ludwig.
