AN: Update! (I'm doing a happy dance right now). I'm updating this sooner, because right now, I'm having feels. I finished reading 4evarawriter's Here We Go Again (the whole 33 chapter – who am I kidding – I only read the raura parts) and Saying Goodbye (Best 3-shot ever!) and I was bawling my eyes out for how cute the whole story is … and right now, I have so many feels!

Okay, so get this 'the bad news' isn't going to be as 'bad' as you thought… I'm just making things dramatically just the way I like … .

Disclaimer: I own nothing.

The whole room fell into silence. Ally got up from her seat in the sofa, and walked forward to Austin. "What's the news, Austin?"

"Well… Jimmy told me the boss didn't like the song," Austin started.

"But I saw him bobbing his head to the music-"

"-HE LOVED THE SONG!" Austin yelled, and Ally stopped, and squealed, before wrapping her arms around his neck to congratulate him. "He said that he's going to have to get used to me singing great songs and positive feedbacks – which Jimmy said I've been getting a lot from tonight. And then he told me to sing some other of your songs, so I sang him Postcard – the first one – and he also loved it. After what felt like an hour…"

"What? What did he say?"

"I'M GOING TO RELEASE AN ALBUM!" Austin exclaimed excitedly, and the other 2 jumped up joining Ally freaking out. "Group hug!" Austin announced, opening his arms for 3 of his friends. Ally jumped first into his arms, followed by Dez, and Trish.

When they pulled away, Austin sat down on the couch. "He wanted to see all the other songs too," Austin said, directly to Ally. "But the album is going to be titled 'A BILLION HITS'."

"Well I got my songbook with me," Ally said. "And I've got loads of songs for you to choose from."

"Well I'm thinking 'Better Together'.." Trish said, who had heard the song.

"And I'm thinking about 'Postcard'…" Dez continued, who also had heard Postcard so many times.

"And I'm thinking 'Disappear', 'This is My Paradise', 'Superhero', and 'Just The Way You Are'…" Ally trailed off. "We need a few more songs, but we'll figure out some other songs for you to choose from." Ally smiled, and intertwine their hands together. "This is going to be great, Austin – congratulations." Ally squeezed his hand affectionately. "Hey, I say we go to your boss and Jimmy right now!" Ally suggested.

"That's a great idea!" Trish got up from her seat, and Dez also got up from his. "I say you and Ally go – me and Dez are going to be here waiting for you guys." Trish shot Dez a smile, and suddenly Ally remembered about Trish liking Dez. It's never been inside her head for this past few days – because Austin filled up her mind practically every minute – and now she remembered. Ally smirked at Trish, and Trish shrugged.

"But Dez-" Austin started to say, but Ally cut him off.

"Leave them behind." Ally said, and grabbed his hand, pulling him outside. Austin waved at Dez hurriedly, and followed Ally outside.

"What was that about? Dez had to come, Ally-" Austin curiously said. Ally giggled, and placed a finger on his lips to shut him up.

"Trish had a crush on Dez," Ally stated randomly, and Austin dramatically gasped. "She wants to be alone with him for a few minutes. I say we let them."

"Oh, sure – Trish and Dez dating, me and you datin-"

"You and I." Ally corrected.

"Yeah, you and I-" he rolled his eyes. "- dating too – it's going to be awesome. We can have a double date together like all the time! Dez and I can play video games, and you guys can do whatever girls do." He grinned sheepishly at Ally. "Then, uh, we'll have lunch together," he finished awkwardly. Ally giggled.

Ally rolled her eyes, "that would be fun," she commented.

Austin chuckled, and they fell into a comfortable silence as they walked together hand-in-hand to his boss's office.

"Okay, so I know you already knew my boss is a little 'short'," Austin put his hand on the doorknob. "But don't be surprise when you see him sitting on his big black seat. It's kinda weird."

"Okay," Ally mumbled, her eyes laughing. Austin turned the

Doorknob and the door creaked open. "hey, uh, boss?" Austin called casually, even though Ally could hear his voice slightly trembling. Ally grabbed his hand – she was pretty nervous too.

"Oh, Austin!" his boss exclaimed. "Come in! I see you brought Ally with you!"

Ausin and Ally walked closer towards Boss. "Uh, we just wanted to say thanks for leting Austin release his album." Ally muttered slowly.

"Yeah, and we're totally going to make it to Billboard," Austin announced.

"I say we start recording as soon as we got to Miami-" Austin started to say again, but suddenly Boss cutted in.

"Whoa! Who says you're going to record in Miami?"

Ally turned, surprised. "What?"

"I said 'who says you're going to record in Miami?'" his boss repeated. "We're going to record your songs here – in New York."

"But I thought he can record his songs there – and send it to you. He can start recording in my store."

"Who! This studio has stagte of the art recording studio! And it probably will be better if he stayed here." His boss cheerdully stated.

"But I want-" Austin started again.

"Okay, then," Ally cutted in, pushing Austin to the door. "We'll leave now. Thank you!"

"Why did you cut me?" Austin frowned as he followed Ally back to his dressing room. Ally sighed, and didn't response. "Ally!"

"I didn't want you to lose your job," she reasoned. "If he won't let you record with me, and you kept insisting – you had a chance of losing your job. Besides, he's right. My one isn't state of the art like his-"

"My voice is state of the art," Austin told her proudly, and Ally couldn't help but roll her eyes at his ego.

"Yeah, right," Ally said. "Even my dad can sing better than you – and trust me, my dad is a terrible singer."

Austin smiled mischievously and grabbed her wrist. "Ally…"

"What?" Ally asked innocently. Austin rolled his eyes. "Austin, let me go!"

"No."

"Why not?" Ally whined.

"Because you're lying and Ally Dawson never tell lies or stories." Austin grinned. "Come on, Ally, I know you're not telling the truth."

"I am!" Ally insisted, blushing.

"Als – don't make me tickle you," Austin threatened humorly, his hands still grasping her little wrist. "You don't want a pinnochio nose, don't you?"

"No…"

"Then say 'Austin, you're the hottest boyfriend ever and you have a talented voice, and I love you soooo much.'" He began making kissy sounds which was adorable but gross at the same time. Ally giggled.

"I won't say it because it's not true."

"Ally!"

"Oh, c'mon, we allk now it's true Austin," Ally scoffed. Austin frowned and Ally giggled. "But…" she trailed off.

"What?"

"Maybe you're not all wrong." Ally said teasingly and released herself from his grip which had loosen itself as she talked.

"Hey, guys…" Ally opened the door of Austin's dressing room and she gasped as she saw what was happening inside. She closed the door again, not wanting to interrupt them.

Austin raised his eyebrows at her, silently asking why did she close the door. Ally closed her mouth and giggled.

"Dez and Trish are actually hanging out," Ally shook her head in disbelief and Austin choked. "See, you can't believe it either!"

"Lemme see!" Austin pushed past Ally and squinted through the keyhole. Ally stood behind him, smiling. Suddenly, Austin gasped. Ally jumped and squealed.

"What is it? What is it?!" Ally whispered, excitedly.

"They're…" Austin dramatically stopped. "Cuddling."

"Let me see! Let me see!" Ally kneeled next to Austin, and squinted. Sure enough, Ally can see Trish snuggling towards Dez, with his arm around her – and they were smiling to each other.

"Wow," Austin mumbled.

"Yeah- wow." Ally repeated and they both gigled. "The world isn't coming to an end is it?"

"Trish is dating Dez." Austin smiled. "Trish is dating Dez, Trish is dating Dez! Ally – Trish is dating Dez!"

"I know – isn't that great?" Ally replied.

"It's not a great, Ally," Austin snapped. "It's ridicilously hilarious and awesome and greatly cool and amazing and any other synonym!" Austin said excitedly. "We can double date sometimes!"

Ally giggled but stopped. "If you aren't recording," Ally reminded sadly, and Austin slung an arm around her petite frame to comfort her.

"Hey, we have 1 more day until Monday comes," Austin told her. "We should make the most of it. We'll start as soon as possible – but right now, let's just change to our own clothes."

"I am pooped!" Trish announced. "Not only I have to stay in your dressing room, Austin, but I have to stay with Dez there. It's pure torture."

Austin, who had his arm around Ally and rolled her eyes, and noticed Ally was doing it too.

"Oh, right," Ally muttered, and she started to yawn. "Well, night guys," Ally waved and started to walk over to one of the couch there and started to doze off when suddenly…

BRUUKK

Ally opened her eyes crossly and saw Austin next to her, grinning. "Uh, what do you think you're doing?" Ally asked a bit annoyed.

"Hanging out with you," Austin answered.

"But I want to go to sleep, Austin, I'm really tired," Ally whined. "We'll hang out tomorrow – how about that?"

"No way, when I said 'start as soon as possible' I really meant at soon as possible." Austin defended.

"By sleeping together?" Ally raised her eyebrows.

To Austin's surprise, Ally didn't argue. "Okay," she mumbled and leaned her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes. Austin chuckled and wrapped an arm around her before tucking her head underneath his. "Night, Austin."

"Night."

"Should we tell them they're sleeping together?"

Austin opened his eyes and groaned. Beside him, Ally was still asleep. "Ssh. You're gonna wake Ally up," Austin warned them. "What time is it anyway?"

"6 o'clock."

Austin groaned again, and finally nudged Ally to wake up. Ally opened her eyes and smiled at Austin. "Morning, Austin, Trish, Dez."

"Morning," Austin smiled eagerly at Ally.

"So, uh, what are we going to do today?" Austin asked, still not getting up from the couch, and didn't let Ally to.

"Oh, me and Trish are going out-" Dez stopped and Trish cutted in.

"-To buy some… souvenirs!"

"Riiight," Austin smirked knowingly. "Well, me and Ally are probably going out too. We're going to make the most of it today before you and Ally are back to Miami."

"Yep! You've got to show me Statue of Liberty, Broadway and we can go shopping…"

"Geez, Ally, we'll start one at a time," Austin said, smling.

"Oh, okay," Ally blushed, and Austin chuckled.

7 o'clock, they were already inside Austin's limo. Ally was wearing a tanktop underneath a pink cardigan, floral skirt that goes up to her upper knees, and white flipflops. Austin was wearing matching white shirt, pink button-ups and his jeans. "We look like 'twins'," Austin joked and Ally rolled her eyes.

The limo began to move.

It was the most amazing trip Ally had ever experienced in her entire life. It was amazing being in a place she didn't know at all with a person you love, visiting all those kinds of places like Statue of Liberty, Central Park, and the others. "This is soooo amazing, Austin!" Ally said, gushing at Austin, who looked down at her happily. He already knew about those places, since he lived in New York before, but even for him it felt like the best day ever.

Too bad it's going to be over soon.

Knock-knock

"I can't believe it," Ally was saying as Austin opened the door of his room. She had a little bit of tears in her eyes. "I'm going home and I'm going to leave you… and you and Dez are going to have fun, and I had to go to the school and be boring."

"Actually I also have school here too, but, hey! I never thought The Ally Dawson hates school," Austin teased, watching her pack.

"I didn't say that – but school this last few days had been pretty awesome. And now it's going to be dull again."

"Awww, you just admit you're going to miss me!"

"I didn't."

"You implied it in your message."

"No I didn't!" Ally shook her head stubbornly. "Look, if you're not going to help and just going to tease me, you'd better leave."

"Okay, okay, I'm sorry!" Austin raised his hands up in surrender. "I didn't come here to gith. I wanna show you something. C'mon."

"But I haven't finished packing!" Ally argued.

"It's only going to be for a few minutes," Austin grabbed her hand, and she shut her mouth and followed him. "I have another sepcial place not so far from here," Austin pulled her outside, and there was a ladder that goes up to the roof. "Climb."

"Austin?" Ally asked, confused, but she climbed anyway. "Why?"

Austin smiled mysteriously and held on to the ladder. "Wait and see."

"Oh!" Ally gasped in amazement and awe.

They were standing on the roof – and the scene was the most amazing one that Ally had ever seen. It was even better than the one in the studio.

"Austin! This is amazing," Ally commented. Austin grabbed her hand again and stood beside her.

"that's not all," Austin pointed the ground of the roof (AN: If that makes sense, which can't).

Ally was too caught with the scene that she didn't notice that there was a picnic set on a blanket. "Awww, Austin, this is so sweet!" Ally gushed and sat down on the rooftile.

"I know right? I planned this the whole morning. I knew you like this kind of thing so I did," Ally jumped into his arms as soon as he stopped saying. "Besides, Sunday is always good – I don't know if it's just me, but the stars always seems brighter." Austin sat down and opened the picnic basket. "I brought pickles."

"Ooooh!" Ally clapped her hands and snatched the jar. "Gimme that."

Austin chuckled and laid down his head on the tile. Ally looked up to the sky in awe. "Oh, Austin, it's beautiful!"

Thousands of stars were covering the dark blue sky twinkling. "It's unreal!" Ally muttered and quickly took out her phone to snap a photo of the sky.

Austin suddenly heard Ally sigh. "Als?" Austin mumbled. "What's wrong?"

"I just wished it could be like this the whole entire forever. I know it doesn't make sense, but don't judge me."

Austin murmured a reply, and turned to stare at Ally. "You know what would make this picnic better? Singing and music. That's why I brought my phone. Let's sing one of the songs." Austin took out his phone and the phone started to play Better Than This.

Ooh

If I could stop the world tonight, I would
Freeze this moment in time
Oh if I only could

Our bodies dance like the wind over and over again
In a perfect sky
Hypnotized by the sound
I get lost and then found
In your eyes

Austin grinned, and stared at Ally, who stared back and seem to get lost in his eyes – like the song.

'Cause it doesn't get better than this
No it doesn't get better than this
Oh if we could stop the world tonight
I think that we should try

'Cause it doesn't get better than this
Oh, better

If we could have one night on repeat, this is it
Over and over we dance to the beat to exist
We're gonna live while we're young
So let's wait for the sun
Before we go home

Lock it all in our minds
Memorize it tonight
'Cause we all know, oh, oh

That it doesn't get better than this
No it doesn't get better than this
Oh if we could stop the world tonight
I think that we should try
'Cause it doesn't get better than this
Oh, better

Ha! I can't believe how we're living always looking up
It's a dream I don't ever wanna wake up
It's a scene but I can't, can't get enough
Tonight is all about us
So live tonight like it's your last
Like there's no future in your past

Oh if we could stop the world tonight
I think that we should try

'Cause it doesn't get better than this
No it doesn't get better than this
Oh if we could stop the world tonight
I think that we should try

'Cause it doesn't get better than this
Oh, better

"This song really matches my mood now," Ally commented randomly as soon as the song ended. Austin chuckled, and slung an arm around her to pull her closer to his, and another song began to play – and they ended up singing to another with stars looking at them so beautiful.

Cliché right?

"Ally, where were you?" Trish asked frantically as they both rushed to the gate (in the airport). "We've been looking for you the whole time!"

"Sorry! Me and Ally were having a picnic!" Austin, who was running with Dez behind them. "Guess we lost track of time."

As they finally came closer to the gate, Trish stopped and turned towards Austin and Dez. "Well I guess this is goodbye." Trish shrugged. "It's really nice here."

Ally stared at Austin and came forward to gve him a hug. Austin stared instinctively hug back, his arms tightened around her waist. "I'm going to miss you." Austin mumbled.

"Me too. Me too," Ally admitted. "Promise me we'll email each other and call?"

"Of course," Austin answered quietly, and after a long hesitation, Austin finally decided to press his on her own.

Austin pulled away after a few minutes (which felt like a few seconds to him) and smiled at Ally almost shyly. Ally smiled tearfully at him, and gave him another hug.

"He-ehm!" Trish fake-coughed, and both of them turned surprised and annoyed at the same time. "Seriously, you two are sometimes can be kinda gross sometimes. I know he's yours, Ally, but that's too much." Trish and Austin hugged, and Dez and Ally hugged. Then Trish pulled away, and turned towards Dez – pretending to be annoyed. Austin and Ally smirked knowingly at each other. "Well, bye, dork. I'm not going to miss you."

"Like I'm going to miss you," Dez scoffed.

"Guys!" Austin interrupted. "We know you're dating!"

"Oh!" Trish and Dez exclaimed together and blushed. "When did you guys know? How?"

"Oh, trust me, we know from a loong time," Austin teased and turned once more to Ally, who seemed dying for another farewell. Austin subconsciously smiled and opened his arms invitingly and Ally was quick to launch herself at him.

When they pulled away, they turned back and saw Trish and Dez hugging. Ally laughed in spite of herself and Austin laughed too.

"Flight to Miami boarding," the happy momemnt was crushed just like that.

"I guess this is it," Ally and Austin hugged again.

"I'm going to visit and stay in Miami as soon as I finished recording," Austin promised, and Ally took out her pinkie for Austin to link. Austin smiled and chuckled, "Pinkie promise."

Ally grabbed her bags and followed Trish to their plane.
