AN: Tadaaaa! This is the seventeenth chapter! I know I already told you that I'm on hiatus, but I tried to write this as fast as I can. The fandom is a bit slow lately (but not really) and I thought you would like it!

"A billion hits is what I get…."

Ally sighed as she listened to the song one more time. She grabbed the remote and turned the tv off. The more she listens to his songs, the more she missed him.

They had been apart for…. 2 days, and she already missed him like crazy. She missed Dez too, but Dez was probably coming second. She used to like being alone, she had to admit that, but after what had happened this last few weeks, him accompanying her when she had to work, him walking with her, and heck, even him bugging her seemed a lot better than being alone.

"Ally?"

Ally snapped out of her mind. She got too caught up thinking about Austin than talking to Trish. "Oh, hey, Trish. Sorry, I was daydreaming."

"You daydream a lot this past few days," Trish said. "Look, I know you miss Austin, Ally."

"I don't," Ally scoffed.

"….really?"

"Yeah, really, I don't," Ally narrowed her eyes, and looked down guiltily. "Okay, maybe I do miss him. A little."

Trish smirked in disbelief. "Look, you don't have to hide that you miss him, Ally. I miss Dez too," Trish admitted. Ally giggled. Thinking about Trish missing Dez was too difficult. "Hey, rather than spending our time missing those goons here, how about we go out for pancakes?"

"Austin loved pancakes," Ally mumbled, but she nodded her head and followed Trish outside.

Austin weren't into pancakes this morning, and it was starting to creep Dez and Jimmy out. Austin sighed, and dropped his spoon onto the plate for what felt like the tenth time that morning. Dez stared at Austin in amazement. "Dude, this is pancakes we're talking about. You know that, right?"

"I… I don't feel like eating pancakes." Austin mumbled.

"Austin… are you okay? I mean, it's chocolate pancakes with ice-cream… your favourite!" Jimmy told him. Austin shook his head.

"I told you, I don't feel like eating pancakes, even if it's chocolate pancakes with ice-cream that we're talking about here." Austin repeated, and he looked at Dez apologetically. "I miss Ally too much to eat. What's she doing right now?"

Dez shrugged. "Awwww… you miss Ally?" Dez fake-sobbed, earning a glare from Austin. "That's so sweet."

"She usually made fun of my pancake choices," Austin muttered. "And I made fun of her pickle-hobby and then she would told me 'Austin, pickles is not a hobby!'" Austin imitated Ally's voice, and sighed once more longily. "Then I would laugh at her from being a dork, and then she would stick out her tongue at me…."

"Dude, if you talk about Ally all the time, you're really going to miss her."

"I already am missing her now!" Austin cried out in frustration. "Something about her… gets to me."

"I know what you mean. Trish also had the same effect on me," Dez smiled dreamily. Austin narrowed his eyes at his best-friend, who seemed to be ignoring him. "She's soo… I don't know… pretty."

Austin scoffed. "Ally's much prettier."

"No, Trish is."

"Ally."

"Trish."

"Ally."

"Trish."

"Allyyy!" Austin whined.

"GUYS! BOTH OF THEM ARE PRETTY!" Jimmy yelled distractedly. They grinned at Jimmy sheepishly, and Jimmy rolled his eyes. "Look, Austin, you guys finished recording in a few days… how about you went back to Miami?"

"Really… I can?" Austin's face lit up. Jimmy nodded.

"I'm sure I can work something out for you. But right now, you gotta focus on your album, okay?" Austin nodded. "Good. Meanwhile, you can always you, know call her. You probably did promised to her right, that you will contact her even though you guys are away?"

Austin nodded. "I didn't have much time, but I will call her today." Austin said in determination and excitement. "Thanks Jimmy. You're the best."

"ALLLYYYY!"

Ally looked up in surprise from her songwriting book. Trish stormed inside Sonic Boom. "Dez is such a doofus!" Trish grumbled. Ally chuckled.

"Why?" she asked, pretending to be surprised.

"I thought he would surprise me or something… I gave him time, but he didn't even call. He forgot about us!" Trish protested. "He forgot our 2-days anniversary!"Ally cracked up. "Hey! Why did you laugh?" Trish shouted at Ally.

"2 days, Trish," Ally said, pretending to be impressed. "You manage to keep your relationship over a day. That's impressive. How about now you manage to keep your job over a day?"

"Ha, ha very funny," Trish rolled her eyes sarcastically. "Besides, I already quit my job. And 2 days is a big deal! He didn't even got me an anniversary present!" Trish whined.

"Me and Austin didn't celebrate our 2 days anniversary, nor our third and fourth, and fifth," Ally mocked. "You're over-reacting. As usual. You're not going to break up with him for a stupid reason aren't you?"

"No," Trish said. "I'm going to wait until night, and if he didn't call me, I'm going to punch the life out of him when he got back from New York. I'm going to date him as a ghost, I don't mind." Ally giggled, and Trish shook her head.

"Dez isn't that good-looking once you punch the life out of him. He'll be quiet, which is a bonus, but not good-looking."

Trish smiled. "I know, his red-hair is a chick-magnet, am I right?"

"Maybe a bit," Ally said. "Austin's blond wavy hair is totally one."

"No, Dez is!"

"No, Austin is!"

"Dez!"

"Austin!"

"Dez!"

"Austin!"

"Okay, both of them is a chick magnet!" Ally stated sensibly, and Trish nodded in agreement. "I really miss him, Trish. It's no fun without him by my side. Look, I even wrote a song for him." She showed Trish her book, and Trish read the song.

"It's good. Why don't you tell him about it?"

"I'm kinda embarrassed for showing like, a personal song to him…"

"Oh, come on, Ally, it'll be fine. Why don't you call him right now?" Trish suggested.

"You know what?" Ally started to smile. "I will!" Ally grabbed her phone, and founded his number.

Austin was in the middle of recording a song when suddenly his phone vibrated in his pocket. Austin astopped immediately, and took out his phone in excitement. "ALLY!" Austin shouted as he read the caller ID. Austin hit the green button and yelled straight into the phone. "HEY, ALLY!"

"Hey, Austin," Austin sighed dreamily. He really missed Ally's voice.

"I miss your voice," Austin whispered into the phone.

Austin heard her giggling over the phone. "Me too. So…. Uh… how are you?"

"I'm fine, how about you?"

"I'm fine, too. Look, I'm really not good at phonecalls even if it's just you," Ally admitted nervously. Austin smiled. He can totally imagine Ally talking nervously to the phone. "So, you finished recording?"

"Nope, not yet," Austin said, and sat down beside Dez on the couch.

"I really miss you," Austin replied softly.

"Me too. You don't know how this past 2 days was. All I had is Trish here. No more wavy blond hair bugging me by sitting on the counter," Ally joked humorlessly. Austin chuckled. "So I wrote another song."

"Yeah?" Austin lit up.

"Yeah," Austin can imagined her nodding. "It's called The Fall Song."

"Let me hear it," Austin said, and he switch his mode into SPEAKER so Dez and Jimmy can hear it. "Come on."

"Okay, here goes…."

It began to play a new tune that Austin never heard before. Ally's voice began to start against the tune.

Set your clock back
Looking at the map
Wondering where you be at
'Cause it's so bad when you're not around
You're never around
It used to be you and me
Holding hands, smoldering
Kicking up leafs
Talking about getting older
But now you're not around

Austin smiled a bit at hearing the lyrics.

There'll never be a rhyme or reason
For when it rolls around to this season
When all the leafs start their turning
And you start to burn again in my brain

I'm falling for you, I'm falling
I can't forget you, now it's cold and
All of the leafs on all of the trees
Are falling with me down to the ground and
I'm falling for you

You're like a good book snuggled up on the sofa when
It's raining outside but I'm warm 'cause I feel you around
But you're so outta town
I kinda wanna call but I bet that you're busy with
That fancy new job and the fall won't affect you like how
It makes me feel now

"That's not true! I may be busy but I'm not too busy for you to call me! I'll always have time for you! And I miss you like crazy!" Austin shouted to the phone, hearing Ally's little giggles on the background. He could hear a soft 'I know' from her, and Austin sighed again content.

October is so overwhelming
And all of my friends they tell me
November it should get better
But I still see you all over the place

"I'm going to sing with you," Austin declared. Ally played the tune a little louder than before.

I'm falling for you, I'm falling
I can't forget you, now it's cold and
All of the leafs on all of the trees
Are falling with me down to the ground and
I'm falling, I'm falling

Oh you are like sunshine
With a chance of rain I
Love the cool crisp air and
I don't care
If you're near 'cause I feel you
Like you're here
You're everywhere

I'm falling for you, I'm falling

I can't forget you, now it's cold and
All of the leafs on all of the trees
Are falling with me down to the ground and
I'm falling, I'm falling
I'm falling for you

Their voice raised a little bit more than before, making a perfect harmony to the song, and it sounded just like before he had to move, except that her voice was coming in a not-so-clear one because of the phone, but he didn't care. It felt like he was there with her, making a perfect song about them…. Just like before.

"I loved it," Austin praised. "That's such a good one, Ally! Although it's a little mellow, it's perfect. Just like you," Austin whispered. Dez nudged Austin, teasing him, and Austin grinned.

"I'm not blushing."

"I never said you're blushing," Austin smirked.

"I am not."

"Uh-huh. I believe you," Austin said in disbelief.

"Okay, so maybe I am blushing. A bit. You know I hate it when you do that to me!" Ally protested, and Austin cracked up. "I loved it too. So, I'm putting the song for your second album."

"I haven't even finished the first one Ally!" Austin said, laughing. "But, of course you can."

"That's great! Oh, I gotta go. I had another customer. Eye roll," Ally laughed along to her joke, and Austin rolled his eyes. For real. "So… aren't you going to hang up?"

"No. You hang up first."

"You first!"

"You!"

"No, you!"

"You!"

"You're the gentleman. Not me. At least that's the last time I checked," Ally snorted. "Austin, are we really going to waste time like this? I already told you I have a customer."

"Okay," Austin pouted. "But in movies it always went like this. I thought we'd do the same coupley stuff now."

"We'll do it back when we're in Miami," Ally said. "Okay, fine, I'll hang up first. Night Austin."

"Night, Ally," Austin replied. "Love ya." He added cheekily.

"Love ya too."

AN: Okay, so there you go! The rushed 17th chapter. I was meant to be on hiatus for 2 weeks, like I said in my profile, but today I had to bring my laptop to school to presentate something, and it was, like, lunchtime, and I was so bored, so I thought I'd start on the seventeeth chapter. But for real though, the next chapter is going to be 2 weeks later.

Disclaimer: I own nothing, because if I would, Austin and Ally would hug, kiss, and get back together in the next episode, which may I remind you, isn't about Austin and Ally but Ally and Gavin. I'm not really into the next 2 episodes.
