AN: What up, guys! I'm back, I'm back I'm back. I'm so excited! I finished the exam today and I was hoping I would get this story in time to post it – and I did! Yay! So, Chapter 18, huh? It's almost the last chapter is probably 20. Okay, so here we go…

Disclaimer: I own nothing. Literally. (No, I don't know what the word means)

It had been a month since the last time she saw Austin, and it was driving her nuts.

She missed him terribly, even though she called him every day and on every free time she had. And he also called her as much as he can, and the fact that Trish also had Dez on the telephone sometimes so she can also hear Austin's voice with it. And yeah, they video-chat every night for the past 3 weeks, like right now, but it's not the same.

"Ally?"

Ally snapped out of her thoughts and focused on the moving image of her boyfriend on her laptop. "Sorry," Ally grimaced.

"Uuh… you kinda blanked out," Austin said, chuckling. "Are you okay?"

"Oh, sure, I'm fine. It's just I have LOTS of stuff to look forward to this week and I'm really tired just thinking about it – man, I sounded like Trish, didn't I?"

Austin nodded. "It's 10 o'clock. Why don't you just rest, and we'll talk again in the morning, like usual?" he suggested.

Ally smiled, but shook it off. "Can't. I have a presentation that needed to be presentate tomorrow, and I have 3 chapters of The Count of Monte Cristo that I needed to review, and not to mention I haven't finished my essay that's going to be due next month…"

"-Ally!" Austin cutted in, laughing. "I don't know what you're saying. You're babbling aren't you?"

"I'm not!" Ally replied.

"Uuuh… yes you are," Austin nodded. "Look, just rest okay? I almost finished recording my album, and I think I'm going to come back to Miami in a couple of weeks, and if you're sick, I don't have anybody to bug."

"Ha-ha," Ally spat out dryly. "Funny." She rolled her eyes, but there was a small smile tugging at her lips. "Okay, fine," Ally sighed. "I'll go to sleep."

"Good. Okay, I'll talk to you in the morning?"

Ally nodded. "Okay, in the morning then. Night."

"Night. Sleep, okay?"

Ally rolled her eyes. "I know, Austin, I know. Love you."

"Love you too." As Ally hit the red button, she shook her head absentmindedly, and groaned.

She had to finish all her task tonight.

"Hey, Ally-" Trish came up to her that day, and her grin turned into a frown. "What are you wearing?"

"Clothes," Ally answered shortly, walking straight past her to her locker.

"No, I meant, why are you using a scarf in the middle of summer?" Trish asked, following her. "Seriously, I know you don't care about fashion but you can do a lot better than this, Ally. Scarves totally don't go with your dress."

"I had a cold," Ally replied, looking at Trish straightly. "Can't you see that my nose is red?"

"Oh, sorry," Trish grinned apologetically. "Why did you go to school then if you have a cold? You should rest."

"Can't. I had a presentation that I had to give to the class, and homework to be handed in…"

"It's school, Ally, what did you expect?" Trish asked her sympathetically. "Look, you're waaay early now, why don't you go back home and rest? I'll give your teachers your assignment," she offered, but Ally was quick to shake her head.

"I'm – achoo! – fine," Ally muttered.

"You expect me to believe that?" Trish scoffed. Her face softened. "Come on, Ally. You probably had slept late last night?"

"I was … talking to Austin," Ally muttered again. "And I had LOTS of things to do, so I have no choice but stay up late," Ally shrugged. "Besides, I don't have a shift today, so I won't be up late."

"That's great, then you can rest?" Trish asked.

Ally shook her head. "Nope. I have some task I need to do. I'll just sleep like usual."

"Come on, Ally, I know you're better than that. Then… medicine?" Ally shook her head again. "Okay, fine, you won't take any of my suggestion, just do whatever you want – but you'll regret that. Bye." Trish grumbled and stormed off to her own class.

Ally sighed and watched Trish go. She sighed as she rested her forehead on the cold steel material of the locker. "Great. Just great," she said through gritted teeth. "Could it get anymore worse than this?"

"Hello, Ally."

Ally turned to see Cassidy, Kira, and Brooke smirking at her. "Hi, guys," she said tiredly. "Uuuh… you need anything?" she asked challengingly.

"Nope, I'm just surprised why did Austin pick you as his girlfriend. I mean, scarves totally don't match dresses like yours. Especially when you bought them in… wherever you bought them," Kira grinned at Ally.

"Ha-ha, funny," Ally spat out. "Look, I have a cold, and I really don't want your opinion on my outfits today. Maybe tomorrow?" she asked, sarcasm hinted in her voice.

"Look, I'm just saying, Austin doesn't deserve you," Cassidy said.

"Aren't you with Dallas now, Cassidy?" Ally asked. "Why are you still doing this to me?"

"Because Austin Moon doesn't deserve someone like you. You work for a living, you're no fun… and yeah, he doesn't deserve you," Brooke yelled at her. "I mean, seriously, there must be a catch."

"What catch?"

"I mean, maybe he's just using you?" Kira asked sweetly. "Trust me, Ally, there must be a reason why Austin picked you to be his girlfriend."

"What?" Ally squeaked nervously. She knew it was wrong to doubt Austin, but she couldn't help but doubt him. I mean, he did 'suddenly' want to become my friend after what happen at Sonic Boom… and he's always saying... Ally shook her head and snapped out of her thoughts. Now is not the time to doubt him.

"Think again, Ally, think again," Cassidy sweetly said as she went.

"And that's a wrap!"

Austin jumped into the couch of his recording room, throwing his fists up in the air in excitement. Dez grinned at him. "I can't believe it. I finally finished recording the album. I finished recording the album. Finally!" Austin sighed.

"And this album is way better than your first one, so I'm pretty impressed," Jimmy complimented.

"And now I can finally get back to Miami," Austin grinned. "Dude, it's only been like a month, and I already miss Ally like crazy."

"Obviously," Dez rolled his eyes. "Look, we better give her the good news first – she's probably going to be really really excited for it."

"That's a great idea!" Austin pulled out his phone, and found Ally's number. "Okay, I'm putting it on speaker so we can all talk to her."

"That's weird," Austin said, frowning as it went to her voicemail. "Usually she picks up her phone when I call."

"Maybe her battery's dead?" Dez suggested.

"Maybe," Austin sighed. "Okay, I'm dialing Trish now. Maybe she's with Ally."

"Hello?" Trish picked up. Austin grinned.

"Hi, Trish!" Dez yelled to the phone. "I miss you!"

"Oh, Dez! Miss you too," Trish answered, and for the hundreth time in that month, Austin thought how freakishly weird it is when they began to date. "So, why are you calling me on Austin's phone?"

"Hey, Trish, I'm here," Austin said.

"Oh, I thought there's only Dez." Trish sighed. "Okay, so… what's up?"

"I finished the album!" Austin grinned. Trish laughed. "So is Ally there? I wanted to tell her the good news!"

He heard her sigh. "We had a fight," she said.

"You guys had a fight? Why?" Austin asked concerned. Trish and Ally never fought.

"Well she's sick today, and she won't rest. I gave her other options, but she won't listen to me. It's not like, I don't want her to get better, right?"

"She's sick? But yesterday she was fine," Austin said.

"Well, she stayed up late…"

"But I told her not to!" Austin groaned. "Ugh, sometimes all I wanna do is get Ally inside a jail so she'll listen to me. So now she has a cold?"

"Yeah… and all of the kids are now talking about Cassidy and her gang fussing over Ally again. Cassidy told everyone that there must be a catch at you dating Ally… I think they guessed your secret, Austin. You HAD to fix this. You're the only one Ally will listen to right now…"

"I'm going to take a flight back to Miami as soon as I can," Austin promised her. When there was no reply from the other side… "Trish? Are you still there with me?"

"You know what would make her feel better? She doesn't know you finished recording your album right?"

"No…"

"Well, how about you came here without telling her AT ALL? It'll be like a little surprise, and you know she loves romantic gestures that I'm sure she'll listen to you then."

"A surprise visit for Ally? That's a great idea!"

"So you'll do it?"

"Uuh, duh," Austin responded. "Okay, I gotta hustle. Bye and DO NOT TELL ALLY."

"I won't."

Snuggled up on the sofa when it's raining outside, but warm coz I feel you around, but you're not around. Crazy, the lyrics fit perfectly, Ally thought bitterly as she snuggled under the blanket on the sofa even more as she felt the cold touching her skin. Beside her was a box of an unopened tissue and an opened one, and some hot chocolate on the table. She coughed again, and finally admitted she was even worse than in the morning.

"Hate, hate, hate, hate," she grumbled as she fished for her calculus book inside her backpack and her pencilcase. She had tons of things to do for tomorrow, and not to mention she had just began to have a splitting headache. "I had too much to think about," she said to herself, and sighed. "How can Trish be happy at a time like this? She never had too much homework to do, and she'll always cheerful."

She laid down on the sofa, her head resting on the armrest, looking up in the ceiling in wonder. She realised she hadn't call Austin today at all, nor she had any calls from him. She took out her phone, and found there's one miscalled from Austin. See, he cares about you, Ally said to herself, smiling a little. But maybe he knows you'll probably get upset- STOP IT, ALLY! Ally scolded herself as she began to doubt her boyfriend again. Austin is the furthest thing on your mind right now – you had lots of things to do and- Ally groaned, her headache getting worse by the minute.

Suddenly Ally's phone beeped, and Ally pulled it out again. She found a new message from Trish:

Hey, Ally, I'm sorry about that fight we had this morning… can I come to your house? Trishxx

Ally smiled – at least one of her troubles was gone now. She quickly typed a reply:

Sure – Allyxx

The reply was fast: Great, I'm outside your house.

Ally got up, and slipped inside her slippers before walking tiredly to the door to open it. "Coming!" Ally's voice sounded like a groan rather than a shout. "Hey-" she turned the doorknob, and her expression changed from sad to happy then to surprise. "Austin?!"

"Surprise," Austin smiled at her, opening his arms for her to walk in. She stepped inside his arms almost instantly, wrapping her arms around his torso, straight walking into his warm embrace. Austin hugged back – it felt nice after a month of not seeing other, and straight into their embrace felt amazing.

"What are you doing here?" Ally's voice was muffled as she tightened her arms around him. "I thought you had to record your-"

"I finished it early," Austin explained, and they finally pulled away from each other to look at each other in the eye.

"But, why… you… I thought it was Trish!" Ally stated, clearly confused.

"I'm right here!" there was a reply from inside. "You guys hug too long, so I just went in." Ally smiled and rolled her eyes. Okay, so her headache had got better now.

"You and Trish made this for me?" she asked softly. Austin nodded. "And Dez probably is filming everything."

"Yep," there was another reply from behind her. Ally grinned and pulled Austin again for another hug.

"You guys are the best!" she cried out.

Austin pulled away. "I heard you're sick," he said. Ally nodded, and coughed again. Austin put his hand on her forehead. "Oh, you're right. Your body's really warm. We better get you inside, Ally, come on," Austin intertwined their fingers together and pulled her inside.

"Glad to know you made yourself at home," she managed to croak out at her 3 best-friends. She sat down on the sofa next to Austin, curling up to his arms.

"Okay, so I know you guys wanted to do your 'coupley'-stuff now-" Trish interrupted. "-and me and Dez had to… uh… go get something. I'll be here again later, Ally. Bye! I hope you get better soon!" Trish pulled Dez's arm. "Come on, doofus!"

Ally laughed, and Austin smiled. "Okay, so you lie down," Austin ordered, softly pushing Ally so her back was resting on the sofa. "And I'll made you my homemade pancakes. You'll get better soon, I promise you."

"Thanks," Ally smiled, and she snuggled deeper into the blanket. She watched in amusement as Austin pulled out ingredients from inside her fridge across the room. "You're right. I'll probably get better just seeing you like this."

"Ha-ha," Austin said dryly, but he was smiling at Ally.

"Here you go," Austin handed her her plate full of pancakes. Ally smiled and took the plate from him gratefully, taking a fork before eating little bits out of it. Austin hadn't start on his own and was looking at Ally anxiously.

"It's delicious," Ally said, kissing his cheek in thanks. Austin sighed in relief, and quickly got started on his own pancakes. "This is the most delicious pancakes in the whole wide world."

"Because I made it with love," Austin whispered at her, and Ally pushed him away jokingly with one of her hand. "And my mom's secret recipe."

"I believe in the second one," Ally nodded. Austin grinned at her, and put down his plate next to hers. Ally laid back down on the sofa, and Austin grinned at her affectionately. "Austin," Ally said quietly. Austin looked down at her. "Can I ask you a question?" she asked softly, the doubt still tugging on her mind.

"Yeah?"

"Why do you like me?" she asked, finally getting the question out of her mouth. She didn't meet his eyes, and instead looked down to the blanket, fiddling.

Austin's eyes turned into recognition as he remembered what Trish told him before. "I love you because you're you." He answered simply. "You're smart, you're funny, you always try to be yourself no matter what happens…"

"That's it?" she asked again.

"Nope," Austin grinned at her ."I love your bubbly personality, and I love that you love me and I still have whole lots of other reasons that if you asked me one by one, it'll take me ages to get through it." He laid down beside her then, intertwining their hands. She smiled.

"Cassidy told me that you're maybe just using me." She blurted out. Austin sighed. "Is it true?"

"Yes it's true," Austin finally answered, looking seriously at her eyes. She frowned. "At first." He added after a moment.

Her frown soon got replaced by a confused smile. "Wait, what?"

Austin pecked her lips first before answering, his eyes right to her eyes, and she couldn't be mistaken when she saw his eyes was looking affectionately, protectively, and lovingly at the same time at her. "I liked your songs," he shrugged. "That's all that I want in the first place. But soon I realised I don't just want your songs. I want you too," he whispered the last part. "You're my newest target, Ally Dawson, and I don't care."

Ally pulled him into a hug, and Austin mumbled again, "don't believe what those jerks said. Just remember I love you for who you are, and I love that you love me like I do. I'll do anything for you, Ally, and I don't just mean it, but I live for it. Maybe that's what got me to you in the first place." He pulled away, and started singing,

You like mismatched socks with polka dots
You like your pizza cold; I think that's hot
You like to swim at night when the moon is full
You think that makes you strange; I think that's cool

Ally looked up at him confused, and Austin shrugged, quietly continuing singing the song again.

And you say you're scared
That I won't be there
Baby, I swear
I'm not going anywhere

Ally smiled as she realised where this song is going. She grabbed his hand again, and closed her eyes as she listened to Austin singing.

You can change your hair
Five times a week
You can change your name
Get a little bit crazy
You can dance in the rain
Rockin' secondhand chic
But I live for the day
That I'm calling you baby

'Cause I'm falling for you
For everything that you do
Baby, I'm falling for you
You might be crazy
But baby,
I'm falling for you

Austin looked honestly into her eyes, and he was lost again inside the deep thing again. He hugged her again, and after a few moment, he quietly continued the song again,

I seem predictable, vanilla plain.
And all the mannequins – they look the same.
There's no one else like you – one of a kind.
And I'm a lucky guy 'cause you're all mine.

And you say, you're scared
That I won't be there
Baby, I swear
I'm not going anywhere

Ally wrapped her arms around his neck again, tightening it as she quietly hummed the tune as he sang the chorus again.

You can change your hair
Five times a week
You can change your name
Get a little bit crazy
You can dance in the rain
Rockin' secondhand chic
But I live for the day
That I'm calling you baby

'Cause I'm falling for you
For everything that you do
Baby, I'm falling for you
You might be crazy
But baby,
I'm falling for you

Yeah …..
You might be crazy
But baby I'm falling for you

Austin stopped again, and Ally smiled at him softly, urging him to continue the song. Austin smiled vulnerably at her and he started to sing again.

You like mismatched socks with polka dots
You like your pizza cold
Yeah, I'm falling for you, falling for you

You can change your hair
Five times a week
You can change your name
Get a little bit crazy
You can dance in the rain
Rockin secondhand chic
But I live for the day
That I'm calling you baby

'Cause I'm falling for you
For everything that you do
Baby, I'm falling for you
You might be crazy
But baby,
I'm falling for you

Yeah
I'm falling
I'm falling for you

Yeah
You might be crazy
But baby I'm falling for you

Ally pulled away as she realised Austin had finished singing the song. "Austin, that's the most amazing song I've heard. Thank you." She whispered at him.

"It's kinda weird isn't it?" he asked her nervously.

"Nope, and it's not crazy either because," Ally kissed his cheek once again to reassure him. "Because I think I'm also falling for you too."

The laugh that he gave her was so breathtaking that Ally was sure her headache had disappeared, and nothing could ever break her down again.

AN: and tadaaaa! Chapter 18 is DONE! Okay, so this one is kinda a filler, and I finally let the secret out on Ally. The song is Fallin' For You by my favourite band R5. It's one of my favourite song recently, along with Somebody to You by The Vamps. Anybody seen the video? Laura is crazy pretty in that video, but I'm still shipping Raura.

And anybody saw the photo of Laura and Ross together on the R5 concert? It's really adorable, and the fact that she surprised him made me wanna cry, fangirl, and scream at the same time. Yes, I'm having an F.G.M right now but I don't care. It went crazy on Twitter today, and all I wanna do is print the photo and hugged it to sleep.

Okay, so reviews, follows, or favs? Bye! Oh, and follow me dy_dyandra.
