Dear dad,
I'm really well here in Los Angeles. I'm really sorry for not writing a letter sooner, but I've just had the best time travelling around and I hope you're well and happy in Miami. Thank you so much for letting me go on tour with Austin, dad, it really is the best time I had.
You wouldn't believe what happen after you let me go to Austin's tour, dad. We (me and Austin) ran all the way to the concert and me wearing high heels and all – clearly wasn't cut out to run. Austin had to give me a piggyback ride after my heels broke. And yet he still managed to run fast!
Well, we got there JUST in time for his first performance, and Trish and Dez were really happy to see us. They were so worried. But we made it!
His performances were all amazing, if you're here with me, you can probably tell I'm gushing right now, but he really is talented, dad, and you know that.
Well all of the states we've been to are all amazing. Me and Austin doubledates with Trish and Dez all the time, and we practically hangs out all the time, y'know, since we're in the same tourbus. Austin takes me to the most beautiful places in America for our dates, and he's always surprising me. Just before, he takes me to the Hollywood Center Studios, and he manages to take me to a live-taping i've always wanted to go to. It was the best, dad. He's always looking out for me, and he's always protective (almost as much as you) over me so i don't think you need to worry about me.
And you wouldn't believe what Jimmy tells us after we went on our date! He said he manages to squeeze a duet for us in Austin's tour! Me, performing in a REAL stage, dad! Isn't that amazing? And a duet! I really wish you could be here to see me, you'll be so proud of me. Me and Austin are going to sing a brand new song we wrote, it's a really fun upbeat song. I'll send you the video, dad, and you can tell me what you think of it.
Dad, I gotta go now. Austin just called me. He said I better get ready for the duet! (Yes, we're doing it now!). I miss you so so so so much, and I love you. I'll send you another letter as soon as I can. Love you,
Your daughter, Ally.
Ally re-read the letter carefully, smiling before putting it inside an envelope. "Ally!" Austin called again. The brunette turned around. "Come on! Everyone's waiting!"
"I'm coming," Ally rolled her eyes, and got up from her place. Austin grinned at her, lacing their fingers together.
"Are you ready to wow them, Als?" he asked, and there was that smirk again that was supposed to annoy her, but instead she found herself kissing that smirk away with her lips. "Is that a yes?" he asked again as she pulled away. "I can't tell."
"Well, then I better do it again," she said, and he leaned closer to her, pressing his lips on hers. Sparks was flying, and butterflies erupted in her stomach even though they had kissed hundreds of times.
"I love you," he murmured against her lips.
She pulled away too quickly, and her eyes fluttered open. She smiled at him. "I love you too."
He smiled back at her, and intertwine their fingers together. "It's showtime."
He managed to get another kiss before show.
"All I need is love," the crowd roared as Austin sang the first sentence of the song. He was standing on the corner, lights all were around him. He grinned as he knew what was happening next. "That's what you give, I'm taking it tonight."
"All I need is touch," the lights all turned towards the brunette he loved far in the other corner. Ally grinned at him, and turned back towards the crowd. "That's what you get, when your skins on mine."
"And with you the music is better
Just want us to be together, 24/7," she sang again, walking towards him, her eyes steadied towards the crowd. He caught himself sighing dreamily onto the mike, and she managed not to blush, making the crowd squealed.
"And now that the color's brighter
Cause you set me up on fire," Austin continued, concentrating again on their performance.
"The music feels better with you
So much better with you
The music feels better with you
So much better with you
The music feels better with you
The music feels better with you," their voices collided together in a perfect harmony, hers soft and elegant (and perfect) and his that was strong and balanced. It was a perfect match. They continued making their way towards each other, the lights following them from above – and the crowd roared again.
"All I need is true
That's what you are," she made her way towards the second verse of the song.
"When everything's alright
All I need is here
Right where you are, you're every reason why," he finished the verse, grinning as they finally met in the middle, him making circles around her, and she in the middle of the circle, smiling towards him.
"And with you the music is better
Just want us to be together, 24/7," he sang, looking into her eyes, getting lost instantly among them.
"And now that the color's brighter
Cause you set me up on fire," he heard her singing softly, making him snap back into reality.
"The music feels better with you
So much better with you
The music feels better with you
So much better with you
The music feels better with you
The music feels better with you," their voices collided perfectly into another harmony, and the crowd cheered again, singing the chorus with them.
"And with you the music is better
Just want us to be together," he sang.
"And now that the color's brighter..."
"Cause you set me up on fire
Cause you set me up on fire
Cause you set me up on fire..." he echoed, grinning as usual to her.
"The music feels better with you
So much better with you
The music feels better with you
So much better with you
The music feels better with you
The music feels better with you
The music feels better," the crowd sang with them, their voices on top of everyone else, and then the music ended, just like that before the crowd broke into another cheer and excited claps and hooting, and Ally had to take a breath, let it sink in.
"I did it," she whispered at him. "I actually did it."
"Let it sink, Ally," he walked closer towards her. "The music does feel better with you," he murmured before capturing her lips in his own.
The crowd burst into another cheer again.
