Ok so I know it's been a long time since I updated this and I am ssssoooo sorry. I just...haven't felt like it. But look what's here~! Another chapter! Though it probably really sucks cause I can almost guarentee I screwed up Marluxia's personality... And for that I deeply apologize. For those of you that still look forward to this story and that are still bothering to read it thank you. Thank you very much. I hope you enjoy and I will try my hardest to update more.

Rixka yawned as she forced herself out of bed, rubbing her eyes. She wanted to go back to sleep so bad… But nnnooo. Saix said she had to be up early today. Why? Oh who the hell knows. He probably just said that to be a pain in her butt. She hmphed as she forced herself up and trudged to her bedroom door, opening it only to come face to face with someone's chest. She blinked and slowly tilted her head back, looking up at a pink haired man who looked very bored.

"You must be Rixka." He said in a very….emotionless voice as he looked her up and down. "I was expecting something…more. Not such a scrawny little thing." He sighed as he turned his head away.

Rixka's eye twitched some. How dare he judge her like that! Ok so she wasn't as big or as tough looking as the others. But she still had some bite to her! She glared and crossed her arms.

"And just who the hell are you?" She snapped at the man.

He glanced down at her. "I'm Marluxia. Your partner for the day. Try not to be too much of a burden." He said before opening a portal and stepping through.

Oh yea… Rixka definitely did not like this guy. "I'll show you who the burden is." She grumbled as she stomped through the portal. Today had started out just horribly for her.

She blinked as they emerged in…another castle? How many castles did these people have exactly…?

"Where are we…?" She asked as she looked around at the…blankness. Really all it was was white…

Marluxia sighed as if her questioned had greatly annoyed him. "You really don't know anything do you." He said it as more of a statement of a fact than a question. "This is Castle Oblivion. This is where I rule." He glanced over his shoulder at her, showing a very small smirk. "So you'd do best to show me a little respect, girl."

She glared and stuck her nose up at him as she walked past. "You show me respect, I'll show you respect."

Yea that was not what he wanted to here.

"Tch! Little brat!" He grabbed her by the hair and yanked her back, pulling her head back in an uncomfortable position.

"Ow! That hurts! Let go of me!" She yelled and she struggled to pry his hand off.

He leaned in close to her and began talking right in her ear. "I suggest you learn a bit more respect, brat. Just because you're coming into your powers doesn't mean we won't dispose of you. In fact… I think we should have disposed of you in the beginning before you ever woke up. You're just a useless addition. We don't need you. You should feel honored to still be around." He gave a rough tug on her hair. "Remember that next time you want to open that mouth of yours." He finished, letting her go and walking past her.

Rixka frowned as she rubbed the back of her head, watching Marluxia walk away. "I wish Axel was here…" She mumbled before slowly following after Marluxia. She was definitely gonna keep her distance from him and talk as little as possible.

Marluxia approached a door and glanced over his shoulder. "Stay here." He said sternly, almost as if he were speaking to a dog.

"Tch… Yes, Master." She said sarcastically with a little bow.

Either Marluxia didn't catch the sarcasm or chose to ignore it. Either way he smirked and said, "Good girl. I think you're actually learning." He then disappeared through the door.

Rixka sighed and pressed her back against a wall, slowly scooting down it until she was sitting in the floor. "I…hate…that…man…" She grumbled out. She was hoping she would never have to go on another mission with him again. Maybe she could speak to Saix about it. Though he probably wouldn't care. It was worth a shot though, right?

Rixka huffed and closed her eyes, not meaning to fall asleep or even realizing she had until she felt a sharp kick to her side. She groaned and doubled over, clutching her side.

"Oh good. You're awake. It's time to go, girl." Marluxia's voice came from above her.

She groaned and glanced up at him. "Was the…kick really necessary…?" She grumbled as she struggled to her feet.

"Yes. It woke you up didn't it?" He said as he was opening a portal.

"Whatever…" She sighed and rubbed her side as she followed him through, returning to their home. "…Marluxia, why was I on this mission today? I didn't do anything."

"How should I know? I just did as I was told and dragged you along." He said as he walked away.

Rixka sighed and lowered her hands to her sides and looked around. Where was Saix…? Of course standing in his usual place looking through some papers. Taking a breath, Rixka walked up to him, determined to speak to him about Marluxia.

"Um…. Saix…" She said a bit softly. It was enough to earn his attention as he glanced over the papers at her then lowered them to show she had his full attention.

"What is it, Rixka? Has Axel been bothering you again?" He questioned. She found it a bit funny that he automatically thought Axel was the problem.

"No, Axel is fine. It's Marluxia." She glanced over her shoulder to make sure the pinkette was gone before facing Saix again. "I can't work with someone like that. He's just so…ugh I can't even put it to words. Can you just…not put me with him anymore…?"

He stood there for a bit in silence, just staring on her. It kinda unnerved her a bit. She began fidgeting from side to side. Saix finally looked away from her, going back to his papers.

"I'll see what I can do." Was his simple reply.

Rixka let out a relieved sigh and smiled. "Thank you very much, Saix." She bowed her head to him, actually meaning the respect she gave to him now, and turned away to let him get back to work. That was when she noticed Axel snoozing on the couch. She blinked and smiled as she skipped over to him and looked down at his sleeping form.

"He's been like that since he got back from his mission. Whatever it was, it really must have worn him out." Demnyx said from the chair across from Axel, his sitar in hand.

"Hm…" Rixka smiled and picked up a pillow, fluffing it a bit as if she were testing it.

"…Rix, what are you planning?" Demnyx asked, pausing in his playing as he eyed her uneasily.

"Nothing you're going to get in trouble for, I promise." She giggled and raised the pillow over her head, bringing it down on Axel's face.

The red head gasped and quickly jerked up, sending the pillow flying. His eyes were wide as if he'd just had the scare of his life. Demnyx and Rixka were now occupied with laughing at the poor man.

"What the hell?! What happened?!" He asked, looking around frantically and rubbing his cheek.

"Rixka just smacked the hell out of you with a pillow!" Demnyx said between laughs, earning Rixka a glare from Axel.

"Demnyx, you idiot! You weren't supposed to tell him!" She said, trying to stifle her giggles as she took a step back. "N-Now, Axel. Let's just stay calm here. No reason to get mad."

"I'm gonna get you for this, Rixka! I was in the middle of a great dream too!" Axel yelled as he scrambled off the couch and darted after the girl.

"Eek!" Rixka squealed and bolted. "Demnyx told me to do it!" She yelled back at him.

"Liar! You did it all on your own!" Demnyx yelled back. Though it didn't seem to matter. Axel was focused on catching Rixka, chasing her out of the main room.

Rixka ran down the hall, going to round a corner. She ended up running right into a wall.

"Ugh….. What the hell?! Why is there a random wall here?!" She yelled before turning to get out of the little dead end, only to come face to face with Axel, who quickly put his arms out, caging her where she was as his hands rest against the wall.

"Hehe. Got ya." He grinned as he stepped closer, forcing her back against the wall.

"Heh… um…now, Axel, let's be rational here. I am your friends after all. You wouldn't want to hurt your friends would you?" Rixka asked as she bat her eyelashes at him all innocent like.

He chuckled. "That won't work on me, Rix." He said as he stepped closer again.

"O-Oh come on, Axel. It was just a little prank. Don't you have a sense of humor?" She pouted at him.

"When it nearly gives me a heart attack? Nope."

"We've been over this, Axel. You need a heart to have a heart attack."

"Oh you know what I meant, Rixka. Don't go all smart ass on me."

"I'd rather be a smart ass than a dumb ass."

During their little back and forth, neither seemed to realize just how close Axel had come until his lips just about brushed hers. They both stopped and blinked, staring at each other, Axel having pulled back a bit.

"A-Axel…?" Rixka questioned a bit hesitantly.

The red head didn't answer though, his focus now on the blackette's lips. He swallowed once before leaning in slowly, closing his eyes.

Rixka blushed slightly and closed her eyes as well, waiting for their lips to touch.

Both were jerked out of their little moment though.

"What are you guys doing?" Roxas' voice came from behind them.

Both jerked and opened their eyes, faces bright red. "U-Um…Nothing!" Rixka yelled as she darted under Axel's arm and bolted away toward her room.

Axel sighed and rest his head on the wall. "Man… You got real perfect timing, kid." He said sarcastically.

Roxas blinked, completely confused. "Did I…interrupt something…?"

Axel shook his head and turned to Roxas, giving a small smile, though it seemed a bit sad. "Nah. Don't worry about it. Come on; let's go get some sea salt ice cream." He said as he walked out of the little hallway, glancing once after Rixka with longing eyes before walking off with Roxas.
