Disclaimer: I do not own Pokemon, and If I did Ash would age and win everything.

A/N: Ash has got to be the most idiotic boy I have ever seen. Serena is basically giving him an open invitation to become more than just friends, and Ash is clueless as ever. Any way, on with a more happier note. I have decided to put the lemons back in the previous chapters. So far three have been added in. Ash/Anabel, Ash/Cynthia and Ash/Skyla/Elesa. So please check them out and me know what you all think.

Divine Arena

Ash was sat in his private box. His battle with Drake had been a big hit, especially with him introducing Mewtwo. The other battles had to be put on hold, so that a team of engineers could repair the damage that Mewtwo had inflicted to the battle field. That one attack had torn the ground right up, making it impossible for others to battle, until it was fixed. After the match he had been bombarded with fans wanting his autograph, some wanted their picture taken with him. However now he had peace and quiet. It was only him and his girls in the box, Director Goodshow, had even posted two guards outside the door so that he wouldn't be disturbed. Ash could see all the field from his private box, in a screen all around him, and if he wanted to have a closer look at one battle, then he could transfer it from the small screen to the big screen. Ash attention was now on field three. Hilda was faced with her next opponent. In fact he was an old rival of Ash's.

Battle field three

Hilda, looked across the field at the trainer now opposite her. he wore, blue jeans, and a blue and yellow jacket, and on his head he wore a blue cap, however it was square at the front. On his shoulder was a Pikachu, if Hilda had not known any better she was certain that she could be facing Ash. This trainer looked just like her boyfriend, right down to the little Pikachu now sitting on his left shoulder. Hilda noticed the referee had just appeared and was now stood on the outside of the battle field. Hilda pulled down her cap and got ready.

This is a fourth round match. All rules are in effect. Their will be no substitutions, only one Pokemon may be asleep at any one time, no items are to be used. This is a three on three battle. Once all of one trainers Pokemon are eliminated then I will declare the winner. Trainers send out your first Pokemon.

Hilda grabbed a ball from her belt and enlarged it. She then threw it onto the field. "I choose you Serperior!" The ball opened up and out on the field appeared her Serperior. Its red eyes glowing and waited to see what it was battling.

Richie stood in his box, wondering what Pokemon to use against Serperior. He knew it was a grass type, and he did have Zippo, however he wanted to save him for later. he could use sparky, however electric attacks wouldn't be that effective. Finally he decided. He grabbed a ball from his own belt.

"I choose you Staraptor!" The ball opened up and out of it appeared a strong looking staraptor. It looked over at Serperior and caused its eyes to glow."

In Private Box

Ash looked on, this was not good. Serperior was mainly a physical attacker, so having Satraptor use its intermidate ability was a real blow to Hilda's chances. That and the fact Satraptor was a flying type, meant this round was pretty much over.

Hilda watched as her Serperior attack dropped, now she was really up against it. She waited for the referee to drop the flags and begin the match. Finally the flags were dropped and both trainers began to issue commands.

"Okay Satraptor, lets finish this one quickly, take to the sky!" Staraptor extended it's wings and was about to take off, however it never got the chance as Hilda countered.

"Serperior use Vine whip on it's leg, so that it can't fly." Serperior shot two long vines from its body which tangled around the feet of staraptor grounding it.

Richie looked on, he had not been expecting that. "Staraptor try shake Serperior off and then use Close combat!" Staraptor tried to break free, however the vine whip was too strong. So instead it decided to get up close and attempted to use the attack it's trainer had issued.

Hilda just grinned now she had it. "Serperior use Glare!" Just has Staraptor wings was about to make contact, Serperior red eyes glowed and a huge set appeared on the field. The attack had now paralysed Staraptor. Not only was its movement now restricted but now so was it's speed.

In Private Box

Ash was grinning from ear to ear. Hilda had completely surprised Ash with her strategy. Having Serperior use vine whip to tangle around the legs of satraptor was pure genius. This meant that if it wanted to get free then it would have to get close to Serperior allowing the grass snake Pokemon to catch the flying type off guard using glare.

Back on battle Field three

Richie looked on, horrified. he thought this round was in the bag. After all he had the speed and type advantage, and yet here he was struggling to come up with a counter.

Hilda watched as Richie just stood there, this round was hers for the taking. "Serperior use Outrage!" The grass snake Pokemon slammed Staraptor into the battle field, it was then surrounded by a red and black aura. It slammed its huge tail down on Staraptor and then thrashed it with its long tail. Finally he whacked the flying the type so hard that it was sent flying across to Richie who looked down to see it had swirl for eyes.

The referee raised the flag on Hilda side of the field. "Satraptor is unable to battle, the winner is Serperior. Trainer send out your next Pokemon."

Richie recalled Satraptor, he now had no choice. He had to use Zippo. He grabbed the ball from his trainers belt then threw it onto the field. "Lets go Zippo!" Out the ball appeared Zippo, who was no longer a Charmeleon, but was now powerful looking Charizard.

Hilda looked nervous. She was now facing a fully evolved fire type, however thank to its duel type, it was also a flying type. This made the battle ten times harder. She was also worried, Outrage had two major flaws, once used the Pokemon is locked into that move until the confusion kicks in.

Richie wasted no time, in making his move. "Zippo use Air Slash!" Charizard roared and then flapped its huge wings forward, creating two gust of wind that looked to be heading towards Serperior.

Hilda seeing the danger, decided to act. "Serperior try to dodge the attack and then counter with Outrage!" Serperior moved across the battle field, it dodged the various gust of wind and soon was right on top of Charizard. It was about to bring it's tail down on the fire type when Richie countered.

"Now Charizard, grab that tail then use a full blast Flame thrower!" Charizard caught the tail of Serperior just has it was about to hit him. it then roared as a flame began to form within it's mouth. Finally when the flame was big enough, it let loose and engulfed the grass type in a flames.

Hilda watched on as her Serperior was engulfed by fire. there was no way it could survive an attack that powerful. She watched as it flopped backwards in Charizard claw's, with swirl for eyes.

The referee raised the flag on Richie side. "Serperior is unable to battle, the winner is Charizard, trainer send out your next Pokemon!"

Hilda recalled Serperior. "Well done Serperior you take a good rest." Hilda then clipped the ball back onto her belt, before taking another one off and enlarging it. She would go with a type advantage this time. "I choose you Seismitoad!"

The ball opened up to reveal a round looking toad like Pokemon. It looked across the field and croaked ready for battle.

"Okay Seismitoad lets use Rain dance!" Seismitoad croaked and then formed a weird looking orb between its webbed hands. It then threw the orb high up and watched as it spread out into a huge rain cloud. The cloud let loose a torrent of water onto the field.

Richie growled, this wasn't good. Richie could use Sunny day, but then they could be here all day. "Charizard take to the sky!" Charizard attempted to fly upwards, however with the rain pelting down on top of him, it was harder than it looked.

Hilda wondered what Richie game plan was. "Seismitoad use Supersonic!" Seismitoad opened its huge mouth and sent out supersonic waves hitting the fire/flying duel type and causing it too fall under confusion.

Richie signed, he had hoped that Zippo would have gotten away in time, however the rain had stopped him taking off quickly, and now it was confused. "Zippo use Air slash!" Zippo flapped it's wings forward sending out two air streams towards the water/ground duel type.

Hilda decided to counter. "Seismitoad dodge then use Hydro Pump!" Seismitoad dodged the air slash and then opened it's huge mouth and fire a huge jet of water right at Charizard, who growled as it was drenched from head to toe.

Richie wasn't sure what he could do now. Seismitoad had pretty much crippled Zippo. "Zippo use Sunny day!" Zippo roared to the sky and the rain clouds suddenly vanished revealing the bright sun which intensified in heat.

Hilda wasn't too happy with this, still there were ways to counter it. "Seismitoad use Rock slide!" Seismitoad croaked and then began to pull huge chunks of rock from the battle field. he lopped them at the fire/flying duel type boxing him in so he couldn't move.

Richie looked on as Zippo was surrounded by huge boulders, it's movement was now limited. "Zippo use Solar beam!" Zippo roared and then opened it's mouth a white orb began to form inside.

Hilda seeing the danger did the only thing she could. "Quick Seismitoad use Dig!" Seismitoad dived under ground just as the solar beam fired. luckily the attack had missed.

Richie growled, he was now regretting not teaching Zippo Earthquake. All he could do was wait for the Pokemon to show itself.

Hilda smiled. "Now Seismitoad use Mud Ball!" Seismitoad leaped out of his hole and, its cheeks bulged. it then open it's mouth and let loose a huge ball of mud that hit Zippo in the face. Zippo roared in agony as the mud had now entered it's eye, reducing its accuracy.

Richie narrowed his eyes, that was a dirty trick. "Zippo use Blast Burn!"

Hilda eyes widened. Was this trainer serious, Blast burn, while his Charizard was blinded. Hilda watched as Charizard roared and then sent out a wave of fire that swept across the battle field. "Quickly Seismitoad use Protect!"

Seismitoad crossed its arms against its chest forming a blue sphere. the blast burn washed over the sphere leaving Seismitoad unharmed.

Richie lowered his head. the move had been risky and now his Zippo was unable to move for one turn.

Hilda decided to take advantage. "Seismitoad use Drain Punch!" Seismitoad leapt across the field and then focused its fist which glowed. It then smashed it into Charizard, causing the fire type to roar and fall backwards with swirl for eyes.

The referee raised the flag on Hilda side of the field. "Charizard is unable to battle, the winner is Seismitoad. Trainer send out your final Pokemon."

Richie looked to his shoulder. "Well buddy, it's your turn, I know you are at a huge disadvantage, but do your best." Richie watched as his started jumped off his shoulder and then took to the field.

"Okay Sparky lets start things of with Agility!" Sparky raced across the field with lightning speed.

Hilda needed to slow it down. "Seismitoad use Mud Shot!" Seismitoad cheeks bulged once more and this time it spat out huge shots of mud all over the field. However Sparky was so fast that the mud was missing every time.

"Good Work Sparky, now use Iron tail!" Sparky jumped up in the air then spun and used its now Iron tail to hit Seismitoad around it's head. the attack did little damage, but it was clear the water/ground type had been dazed by the attack.

Hilda growled. "Seismitoad use Sludge wave!" Seismitoad shook its head and then opened it's mouth sent out a wave of purple sludge that flowed across the battle ground. Sparky had not been quick enough and it had been washed across the field with the sludge wave. it now had a purple aura around it and was swaying from side to side.

Richie sighed, Sparky had been poisoned thanks to the attack. It looks like he was going to be heading out of this competition. "Sparky use Quick attack!" Sparky raced across the field and then hit Seismitoad with its body. it then winced as the poison began to eat at it's health points.

Hilda knew she had this match won now. all she needed was one big finish. "Seismitoad use Earthquake!" Seismitoad raised its foot above the ground, before stomping down and causing the whole battle field to shake. Poor Sparky was swaying from side to side when the quake hit and launched him into the air. The electric type came down with a huge crash. It growled and tried to get to all fours, however the damage was to critical and he fell with swirl for eyes.

The referee raised his flag on Hilda side of the field. "Pikachu is unable to battle, the winner is Seismitoad. Seeing how the blue trainers is all out of Pokemon, I declare the red trainer the winner and she will go on to the quarter finals."

Ash private box

Ash smiled, Hilda really was a great trainer. She had beaten Richie fair and square and had used a brilliant strategy to do it. Ash then turned his attention to the other screen, Misty was battling and she had just won. So she too was in the quarter finals. Ash knew the possibilities were high that he would get either Hilda, Misty or Cynthia. of course the Sinnoh league Champion wasn't battling till tomorrow, but he was all but certain she would advance. Ash watched as his other girls all give high fives, they too was pleased with Hilda winning her match.

Richie recalled Pikachu, he then walked over and shook Hilda hand. "Congratulation Hilda, i was hoping I could at least get to the quarters and then maybe I would have met Ash, but you beat me fair and square. So well done."

Hilda blinked. "Wait do you know Ash then? Hilda noticed Richie just smiled. It seems this trainer did know her boyfriend. She watched as he pulled his cap down.

"You could say we know each other. Our first meeting was in the Indigo league championship when we were just ten. We had both reached the last sixteen and I won by forfeit due to Ash's charizard falling asleep on the battle field. After that we faced each other many times, Ash had always been able to beat me after that. I was hoping that I would get to battle him here, So he could see just how much I have improved."

Hilda stayed silent for a while. "Well, if you want, I am heading to see Ash now. You're more than welcome to come along. if what you say is true then I am sure Ash would love to see you."

Richie smiled. "Thanks that would be great. who knows maybe we could have our own little battle on one of the training fields. Is it true what everyone has been saying, that you are one of his many girlfriends?

Hilda blushed, and then led Richie away from the battle field in the direction of the private boxes. "Yep, Ash has a lot of female company. However we all get on, so there is no jealously between us. Here we are."

Richie gulped as stood in front of him were two guys dressed in suit, both guarding the door. Richie noticed that Hilda walked up to the door and the two guards let her through, however when he tried to follow they blocked his way.

"It's okay, he is an old friend of Mr Ketchums. I invited him up here." The two guards looked at each other before parting and allowing Richie to walk into the room. What he saw completely stunned him. Ash was sat watching a big screen which a battle was playing out on. he then looked to the corner to see at least six girls all huddled around Hilda, cuddling and laughing. However he didn't have time to see what else they were doing as he was interrupted by his old rival

"Well, If it isn't Richie. How you been mate?" Both boys gave each other a manly hug. both Pikachu was now also greeting each other, and they were having their own conversation. Ash led Richie over to one of the seats next to him. "Sorry about your loss mate, but Hilda can be ruthless when she wants too. it a shame because I was hoping to battle you myself in the tournament."

Richie scratched his head nervously. "Yes, well I was hoping to battle you too. I wanted you to see just how I had improved, but that performance today was pretty dreadful compared to my normal standards. I guess I was surprised by Hilda strategy, and it completely threw me off my game. Hey is that Cynthia over there? Tell me I am dreaming."

Ash just laughed. "No you're not dreaming. Yes it is the Sinnoh league champion. She is also part of my little family, the other girls are younger than her, and they seemed to look up to her as a role model."

Richie whistled as he looked at all the girls, now doing their own thing. He turned back to Ash. "Well mate I would say you're the luckiest guy on the planet. i mean eight girls, all of them complete knock outs."

Ash just smirked. "Yes I am lucky. Anyway, we can still have a battle, if you want, it will just have to be outside of the tournament. What is your Pokegear number? I kind of lost all my numbers when I vanished."

Richie knew what had happened, however he didn't want to bring that up. "Here you go. I will write it down. I am here for a few more days, so whenever you're ready just call me and we will arrange a meeting time."

Ash put the number into his Pokegear, "This is address to my private condo, why don't you come by some time." Ash handed over the paper which had his address on. He noticed Richie placed it in his pocket. Ash noticed Richie was about to get up and leave. He quickly grabbed his sleeve. "Hold up there, you don't have to leave. besides we have a lot to catch up on."

Richie smiled then lounged back in the chair he then began to fill Ash in on everything that had happened since their last encounter.

Over with the girls, Hilda looked up and smiled. Ash was really enjoying talking to Richie. She like the other girls thought it was good for him to have another male to talk too. After all she could imagine just how bored he must feel to be surrounded by women and girls all the time. No Ash needed some guy time, and maybe Richie could help him with that.

A/N: There you go another chapter, finished and dusted. Like I said I am in the middle of putting the missing lemons back into the earlier chapters, so bare with me. As I said in my notes at the beginning, so far three of the original scene have been added.
