As Shinn and Cagalli enjoyed their time, they didn't know that three pairs of eyes were watching them. "Is this serious…?" The brown haired Coordinator said. The three were hiding behind a pole just outside the restaurant. "So… we're not going inside?" Akihiko looked at the two guys beside him who was just enjoying the sight before them. "Let's go…" Kira stood up, walking towards the entrance to the restaurant.

Athrun and Akihiko followed suit and the three proceeded to where Shinn and Cagalli were. "Hey guys!" The blonde princess waved at them, shouting to call their attention and startling the people inside. There were whispers heard since now the ORB princess revealed herself. They couldn't believe that she would go out to the city so casually. It was what she wanted so why do they have to care? The whispers died down and finally, Akihiko and the two Coordinators sat down with them.

"So, what is this?" The Freedom pilot said to Cagalli while looking around just to see eyes gazing at them. "Dinner, obviously… We went ahead because we got bored." She smiled and blushed, then turning her head to see their food coming to them.

Seeing the amount of food being laid down on the table, the late comers stared in awe as various kinds of food were before them. "Well, let's dig in!" The princess took her utensils from the table and started to eat.

It was a bit awkward for them to eat but they did not want to disappoint Cagalli. They were all silently eating their dinner when Cagalli broke the silence. "Kira."

"Ye-yes…?" Sweat began to from on Kira's face. He felt utterly nervous. "I just want to ask about the… new mobile suits that ZAFT is producing…" Now, even Athrun and Shinn were getting nervous. "Uh… well, it's not really a new one… it's kind of an improvement for the Freedom, Justice and Destiny…"

"I see… I was thinking of doing the same with ORB. Construction of new mass production MS and other military… how should I say this… improvement…" The three pilots looked at her with curiosity. "Wha-what…? Did I hear that right?"

"Yes. You did not mishear me. What I said is that truth and I am no angry about Lacus' decision." Cagalli drank to the last drop and then wiped her mouth. She left money at the table and left. The boys looked at each other in wonder before following her outside. They all went back to the Athha Mansion to rest their tired bodies.

The next morning, Kira bid his friends goodbye, leaving Shinn and Athrun to finish their tasks. The emerald and ruby eyed Coordinators went to Cagalli's office to get their assignments, and since Lacus said it was community service and not just tasks for the government, Cagalli asked the two to help clean the city for a whole week. They went to do their errand as soon as Cagalli finished briefing them.

A few weeks have passed; Shinn Asuka and Athrun Zala were now ready to go back to the PLANTs. They packed their bags and were ready for the flight. They bid Cagalli good bye and left.

For the past days, she became close with the two despite Athrun being her former boyfriend and Shinn being her enemy. What they didn't know about was a note left by someone who was soon to become their worst enemy yet.

"Morning, Cagalli-san…" Akihiko bowed and greeted the princess who just woke up from her slumber. She was descending from the stairs with a yawn, wearing her favorite night gown with cycling shorts underneath.

"Good Morning your face, Aki…" Her tone indicated that she didn't have a good night's sleep but she knew it was rude and apologized immediately.

"It's fine, Cagalli-chan…" Akihiko smiled as Cagalli blushed. "What's with the –chan?" She narrowed her eyes as she looked at him. He just laughed at him as she blushed again. "I'm taking a shower!" She dashed upstairs and went straight to her personal bathroom. "You made her embarrassed again…" A maid walked behind Akihiko. "I know, Anna… I know…" A mischievous smile formed on Akihiko Sermine's face.

That morning, Cagalli and Akihiko went to her office where she will analyze the note on her own. She doesn't want anyone else to know about it and she's afraid of involving people to her problem.

"Cagalli, I think we should—"

"No. I told you, we are not telling anyone…"

"…but what do you suggest we do then?"

"I… personally do not know…"

Cagalli Yula Athha read the note once again to remind her of the danger she was about to face.

Princess Cagalli Yula Athha of ORB,

Greetings! I have written this little note addressed to no one but you.

Be prepared as I defeat your army and obliterate you. I will dethrone you and claim it as my own.

Not even your mightiest and bravest soldiers can defeat me.

"I wonder who this R.C. is…" Cagalli rested her chin on her hand as she thought of someone who had the initials, R and C.

"We don't even know if it's female or male, not even if they're from ORB, ZAFT or EAF…" Akihiko used his left hand to support his weight as he leaned towards the note. "Still, we should be more careful…"

"Right…" As Cagalli sighed, Akihiko thought of something to do. "Since it's already lunch, why don't I show you something breathtaking?" A questioning expression took over Cagalli. She was curious on what this was about so she agreed to come with him.

They left the mansion and drove to a medium-sized house. Akihiko got off first then offered his hand to Cagalli. The blonde took it and stood up, looking breathlessly at the house in front of her. "Isn't this your house?"

"You could say that… Oh, good. The key still fits." Akihiko inserted a key to the keyhole and twisted it to open the door. He was glad that it did open up so they can enter the house. "Well, come on." He offered his hand to Cagalli again. She took it without hesitation and ventured inside with Akihiko.
